So I got an infection on Thursday. I was wondering why the hell there were little bumps on the corner of my right lip when I woke up that morning. I thought they were pimples and I have been growing some around the edges of my lips for quite some time so I didn't give it much thought. Until Friday, when I headed out to run some errands...

  The bumps were red and are in a small group together. I thought I had an allergic reaction to a new lipstick that I recently bought, but I didn't think much of it because they didn't really hurt. They caused slight discomfort, but not painful. I just felt a burning sensation for the whole day. When I got home, I used Aloe Vera and it cooled the burning, but it was still there.

  Saturday my lips were on fire. At this point I realised, oh no, something is not right. The bumps felt hard to the touch and bruh.

  It was painful.

  Today, the bumps crusted over and turned into individual brown scabs, dotted all over that specific part of my lips.

  The pain. 

  The bumps are so crusty omg. I feel my lips burning and swelling, and I'm trying not to touch it but it's so hard to not touch it. I think they're pus filled too? omf that's disgusting.

  I have trouble talking and eating because these little ers are right at the corner of my lips and if I open my mouth too wide that hurts like cray.

  I did a little research and I sent a picture of my condition to a cousin of mine who happens to be a doctor. She diagnosed me with HSV-1 and told me to go get some cream. For those who don't know HSV-1, it is a type of herpes. And the kind that I'm diagnosed with?

  Oral Herpes.

  What. The. Actual. Fudge.

  Now, let me make it clear that I am single and healthy as I can be, so I can't be infected through kissing. The only reasoning to this is that I drank from someone else's cup, or straw, or I took a bite out of someone's food. 

  Let me just curl up in a ball and die. I can't eat, I can't laugh, and I'm in so much pain.

  Taek me out of my misery.

  Ok I was making a big deal. Oral Herps is also known more commonly as cold sores. I have a cold sore. But still. Why name it Oral Herpes? The word that starts with an 'H' alone is enough to shake the biggest man. 

  But seriously though, it hurts like hell.
