New piano accompanist?

DISCLAIMER: I HAVE NO IDEA IF THIS IS ACTUALLY THE TRUTH. Below is merely my assumption and whether it's true or not will still not affect my negative impression on her concerning how she manages herself and hoe she deals with things

So basically since June (or May I don't really remember) the terrorist-cleverer-and-better-than-me-at-everything friend had received a special request by a teacher to perform at her retirement ceremony which is taking place next month

And she asked if I could be her accompaniment

So obviously I said yes because I never got to slap people in the face telling them I actually know how to do music and it was my perfect opportunity
well not really but still

We had a round of discussion about what songs we should perform and who else we could recruit for the performance and we immediately thought about another cellist friend we've really liked
side note: this cellist's music path gor ed up because our school's string ensemble used to have a really biased and hot-headed president (a.k.a Spike whom I've mentioned about in the LME chat several times) and because he got so disappointed when he wasn't even being elected as a commitee during his last year in school AND in his only school club that he decided to stop playing the cello

She basically rung up that friend and he was like OKAY I'LL BE YOUR CELLIST then two weeks later she said
Nehh I don't really think we need a cellist

then she ing looked for three ing guitarists to play 1 pop song and 2 classic songs that were NEVER MEANT TO BE GUITAR PIECES

AND ING EXPECTED ME TO ARRANGE THE STRUMMING PATTERNS AND TABS AND EVERYTHING FOR THREE DIFFERENT PARTS.

And of course her boyfriend was there to be the first guitarist mm hmm

I mean I could help them with arrangement and stuff but lady I'm supposed to be your accompanist and not your manager or whatever

and it's YOUR performance so why are you asking MY opinion for everything

What do I get when everything turns out well

Would you tell everyone it was all thanks to me helping you plan out everything or are you going to take all of the credits and I ING EMPHASIZE THE WHOLE SCHOOL KNOWS HOW MUCH I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE DON'T CREDIT ME FOR DOING ANYTHING THAT COST ME MY PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH

Okay so that's not the most bull thing

She can't say no to her friends

Apparently the news about this performance spread to another random person who ALSO happened to be a guitarist
But an electric guitarist

He wanted to join and he suggested that we change our entire playlist into something different (at least You Are My Everything was still in the list)

Then she was like UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHKJLJDANCLIVUFDNVKSJDVNKLJNIDON'TWANNADOTHISANYMORESHOULDIJUSTTURNDOWNTHEPERFORMANCEREQUEST

Okay never mind I'm not the super star of the entire thing so I shouldn't waffle(?) myself into this huge decision even though I did feel a bit sour when she said that because I seldom get to perform individually on stage in this school

The answer to the "should we still continue performing" bull wasn't answered yet

And then this morning I overheard her talk to a beech (yes honestly I hate that girl because she hates me for no reason and she acts like a total beech) about helping her out with a performance

Disclaimer: a "performance", hence I really don't know how valid my guess is

It went all normal until I heard her tell her friend

"Well you could play the piano"

And I am VERY SURE she has no other performance offers at the moment so I'm 70% sure she's talking about this retirement ceremony.
Plus if she was talking about a keyboard instrument, why did she need to bother to play the violin when she's in fact a piano major instead?

And WHY in the world did she choose to let someone who's not as experienced in performing music to play for her?

I'm quite sure she knows how I do my things. If you decide to remove me from your group, you can just tell me that you don't need me anymore.

I'm fine with that . I've been fine with that since 2013.

What pisses me off is that you don't even have the courtesy to notify me about your change in plans.

And that you chose friends over professionality when it comes to a "performance".

Where is that "professionality comes first" policy? Where is the "just because you're a friend doesn't mean I'll pick you to perform if you "?
Not implying that anybody here, but that's how I phrase myself when I scold the Sinfonietta juniors. (I am a really terrifying senior, especially when I'm holding a huge post that is in charge of determining the performance line-up)

sigh

^ I'm sighing because I don't know how to end this blog post tbh lol

But I'm still very upset at how she does her things especially when she's the actual music master (I'm just her assistant) and a president of another club

conclusion: just because you're smart doesn't mean you're good at sorting out priorities and dealing with conflicts.
