Jumping off cliffs, Sliding down Rivers and Crawling through Caves.

I have been on the most amazing adventure in Tirabad, Wales. I went with three adult works and a bunch of kids, even though I was the oldest I got along with them like a house of fire. We done a bunch of activities together, while getting an award or two on the way!

I never once thought that that I would have gone on a trip on this level, it was truly something mind blowly - well that's how I felt. I have been on things like this before, but the things that I done in Wales was on a whole different level.

With each activity that I done, I gave it my all. Even when I was completely scared...but only got scared once.

The activites that i done included; Gully Scrambling, Caving, Archery, Gorge Walking, Jacob's Ladder and Rock Climbing.

Gully Scrambling.

This was me going along a stream, going up a rocky hill. I walked against the current of the water and slipped on several slippy rocks. Not bad for the first activity after hours of travelling! We all helped each other, stopping slipping - even though it still happened. I may have got a bit scratched and got a few bruises but the view was well worth it! I got muddy knees, trying to climb up. Got a lovely shower afterwards though.

Caving.

To be honest I was bloody terrified of the Caving. I hate small spaces and it really set me off. I was fine at first, a little bit panicked. But then we were asked to switch off our lights, just to so us what it looked like. Pitch black would be the answer to that. It was like I was blind. But because I'm not that great with the dark I started to cry - dare I say it! Once we turned our lights back on we headed deeper into the caves. But we then came across a bit we had to crawl under, it was then I started to panic. I was sure I was going to have a panic attack...but instead I screamed. But I braced myself and pushed on through. I was fine thr rest of the way, though I did scream a second time. Not half as bad as the first. My first was so bad, people thought I hurt myself. Though I it was fall onto a sharp rock. I have a bruised bum now. I'm proud of myself for doing so well though.

Archery.

I wasn't good at the Archery. It was outside, but that wasn't an excuse. I'm just bad at Archery full stop.

Gorge Walking.

This had to have been my favourite out of all of them, even rock climing - my favourite thing to do anyway. We walked, slid and swam through a river. Going down a few waterfalls. It was amazing, the views were pretty but it was very very cold. I had a wetsuits on so it wasn't so bad. One of the adults and myself kept laughing because she kept falling, one person lost both of her shoes and I saw a frog. Somehow the shoes were recovered. And at the end I jumped off two really high cliffs, straight into the water.

Jacob's Ladder.

This I wasn't good at, I just couldn't reach and I wasn't fexible enough. I got to about the second plank, even the people that were scared got higher than me. I had to stop because I got slightly injured. It might have no happened if one of my teammates helped me sooner. Instead he went straight to the top. Oh well.

Rock Climbing.

This was rock climbing in a way I had never done before, I was so used indoor rock climbing. First we absailed off the edge, that was great - I was fine. In fact I was told I was a natural! But when it came to my climbing i didn't do so well, I'm actually very annoyed at myself. I couldn't find anything to grab on to so I had to go bad down. No biggie! Not only that but time was running out and someone had to go after me.

So that was what i got up to in Wales and I know I would love to do it again. Well...not the caving. I'm never doing that again.

I thought I'd give a big blog post as I haven't posted in a while.

If you've stayed this long, well done. I hope you like it. If you didn't shame on you!

^-^ I hope you enjoyed it. Wales is an awesome place tbh.

(I want to blog what I was up to in Japan 2 weeks ago, but might not do it due to using an on-screen keyboard for the e,d,c keys & will take ages. But I might do it on Saturday, since I'm still here for work & have 1 thing left to do that I want to.)
