Home - She prefers to be comfy at home/dorm so she would normally wear just a simple large boyfriend t-shirt with short shorts.
Outdoor - Casual chic style with skinny jeans with a jacket that complement its plain t-shirt within. 
Minyeon has a natural long brown wavy hair. However, she is often seen tying up her hair in a ponytail especially during training as she has prone to heat. She is naturally born with good skin and despite not having much skin care, her skin remained flawless, which is too much of the others' admiration. Due to this, she rarely put on thick make-up, unless it is for her performance. During her normal lifestyle, she normally has only light to no makeup. However, she is standing at a height of only 1.6m which caused her to be quite conscious of her own height. This caused her to be wearing heels pretty often. She doesn't really follow fashion so she normally dress up with what she is most comfortable with. 
Style
She has quite a versatile wardrobe filled with different kind of shirts and jeans, along with a couple of jackets to pair it up. Instead of clothing, she focuses more on her fingernails and has a various shade of colour of nail lacquers. Besides that, she has quite an extensive range of ear accessories as well to pair it up. 

Personality
Minyeon has a tendency not to overreact in situations that can be heated or where there's a lot of confusion. She has always kept her cool in most situation and thus is able to handle the situations well. Due to this factor, the members have always depended on and looked up to her in many situations, trusting her to make the right choice. 
Minyeon does not like the spotlight on her and thus would avoid anything that would cause attention, especially those negative one. Instead, she likes to watch people instead of participating. Because of her observant nature, she is often able to tell if someone isn't at their best situation and could be really understanding. 
Minyeon  is also a really competitive and ambitious person. She would often set a goal for herself, accomplish it and set another right away for every little thing that she does. She is a very plan-orientated person. 
However, because of the way Minyeon carries herself, many have found her unapproachable at the first meeting. She doesn't smile often and more often she has her neutral face on, which seemed fierce to some. Her shy and quiet personality along with her fierce looking neutral face have caused many to back away. However, this is far from the truth. 
Minyeon can be very secretive and tend to keep a lot of her own thoughts in herself. She doesn't like sharing her minds and feelings with others. However, she can be a really good listener and advisor and the others could always trust her with their secrets and problems. 
She could get jealous really easy and strongly seek emotional security. As a result, she can be very stubborn and be controlling when she feels insecure. Her observant nature caused her to be able to detect lies and insincerity easily and thus can get very possessive and jealous.
As said previously, Minyeon can be very ambitious and competitive. However, she could be very hard toward herself. As a consequence of her fondness to challenge and test herself, she often pushes herself too far, draining her physical and mental energies. 

Background
She is born in a normal Korean family where both her parents are office workers. She has a small group of friends but she does not mind it at all. From the age of 8, she is sent to dance classes for recretional by her parents and has always been better in hip-hop style of dancing. From there, she discovered her passion for dancing as well as her talent for strong and powerful dance style. From then on, she has been learning and focusing in making covers of boy groups. 
In 1998, at an age of 14, Minyeon started her trainee life in YG Entertainment where she was trained as a rapper. She got in through her dance cover of Sech Kies' Road Fighter, impressing the judges with her break dance moves. From there, she got training for her rap, as well as some song-writing skills. 
However, she left YG Entertainment after 3 years as she felt the agency isn't right for her. She auditioned for SM Entertainment in 2001 through her dance as well and has gotten in. In SM Entertainment, she is trained mainly on her vocal and her dance skills. Her competive nature and the high standards she has always pushed on herself has helped her to rise to one of the few best trainees within 1 year. However, whenever she has her hopes high on debuting as part of Girls Generation or F(x), she has always been replaced eventually at the final. The reason given to her was that she doesn't fit the style of the group as much as the other members do. Yet, that's the hardest part for her. She has the skills but she can't change herself. 
After a couple of years of training, she was eventually given a chance to be part of a project girl group. This is a chance she could not miss and she quickly grabbed on it, giving her best. However, with the success of Super Junior which is supposedly the male project group, SM Entertainment eventually chose to disband the female project group and kept Super Junior as a permenant group. This is especially disheartening to Minyeon and she blamed herself for being not good enough to save the group. However, that is her inner thughts and has never told anyone. Instead, she tried her best to comfort her other members, telling them they would still have the chance to debut again, though she knows that it will take quite some time before it comes.
Being stubborn, Minyeon pressed on and continued her trainee life in SM Entertainment, hoping that the chance for her to debut will soon arrived. However, when SM Entertainment has brought forward a new gril group Red Velvet, she is deemed too old to join the new girl group. 
In 2010, after 9 years of training in SM Entertainment, she is approached by the higher officials in SM Entertainment. They greatly appreaciate her talents in dance, rap and vocal and did not want them to go to waste. Hence they suggested her to be the official overall trainer of the other trainees, both male and female, as well as allowed her use of the studio for her composition of music. Minyeon gladly agree as she needed money back then and the pay was good. Between 2009 - 2014, she helped many other trainees to improve in their performance. She focused mainly on techniques teaching and the overall growth. In 2014, SM Entertainment switched her to be the official manager of Red Velvet after she is deemed too old to join a rookie girl group. Despite being disappointed with the decision, she understood the decisions and thought she has no more chances in returning to the scene as a singer. The thought of at least staying in this industry cheered her on and accepted the decision in being the manager of Red Velvet. 

Trivia
• Among the members, she is the hardest to be woke up. The members often have to tried various method from splashing water to blasting music, or even jumping on bed to wake her up. However, this is because she is most effetient at night and thus have often stayed up the entire night to write songs, work out or brainstorming for ideas. 
• Her most precious ideas is her MP3 player and could not live without music. She often enclose herself in music and often has her earpieces on. Her MP3 player is also served as a recording devices for any ideas for music composition when she is out.
• She absolutely hates crying as she hates being seen as weak.

Minyeon's father is strict yet loving. Since Minyeon is their only child, he has always hoped that she would strive to be the very best and would be able to have a comfortable life in future. When he was told that Minyeon wanted to be a singer, he was strongly against it at first as he felt that it is a risky job and she might not debut or get popular. However, when he saw how hard she worked and her determination, he changed his mind, being supportive for her.

Minyeon's mother is a ballet dancer when she was young and it is the reason why she has sent her daughter into dance classes. She has always been supportive to her daughter and is always worrying about her. To her, Minyeon would always be a baby and would required her care. Minyeon has always appreciate her mother and has always love her mum's cooking. Whenever she meets her mum, she would eventually become child-like and cuddles to her mother.

First Meeting
Minyeon first met ____ during her trainee period and they has never talked until they were paired together to perform in one of the evaluation test. It was from then they started to be close and found many similiarities between themselves. Instead of his looks, it was his personalities that truly attracted Minyeon, though she has never thought of him as a couple at first. 

Interactions
The both of them eventually became a couple while both of them are still trainees. However, being best friends and couples are entirely different. Though they have many similiarities, their differences began to show  after being a couple for quite some time. They dated in secret at first but as time passed, the number of fights between them increased and they eventually broke up. They reconcile and broke up for quite a few times. Yet, no one knew that they have a past before. It was a secret in between them. Whenever they saw each other with others around, they often commented sarcastically towards each other, causing the others to misunderstood that they hated each other. However, they are just having a toxic relationship. Both of them hurted each other through words and means in order to feel secure and that the other does indeed love him/her. They knew it was unhealthy but neither could stop. They couldn't let go of the love yet they can't trust themselves enough to love.

We would show you our best sides, so please look forward to us. It took quite sometimes before we get here and I hope everyone would enjoy the show we presented.
• It's become common knowledge by now that your group was originally disbanded ten years ago. What have you personally been doing since then? 
For me, I have become a trainer and song writer in SM Entertainment. I hope I would have a chance to showcase my songs to everyone in the near future. 
• How do you feel about working so closely with Super Junior? 
Super Junior sunbaenims have been a great inspiration and I am in the same batch as most of the members. Being able to work closesly with people that I have known for so long is indeed a great chance and I feel comfortable around them. I am able to learn many things from them as well and I hope that many of the ELFs and our fans would look forward for more interactions and works from both groups. 
• What do you personally look forward to now that The Starlets are coming out with their first album? 
Everything. /gives off a faint smile before looking at the camera again/ The Starlets have worked hard for our first album and I hope that everyone would like it. This time I am fortunate enough to participate in the producing of some tracks. We have various genres in our album, ranging from Pop Dance to Reggae and Rock. Each of the tracks would showcase each of the different members' strength from vocals to dance. I hope everyone would give love to us and thank you. /bows.
