Wáng Yù Jié / It's her Chinese name

NICKNAMES.
➳ 小宝贝 // Xiǎo Bǎo Bèi // "My Little Precious" / Her twin brother calls her that when they were kids, and he still calls that evern to this day. Even if he knows that she always gets embarassed by it. He also calls her that because it's his way of her showing her affection

➳
兔子 // Tùzǐ // "Bunny" / Many of her friends from kindergarten to now calls her that because when she shows her big smile they say that her teeth resembles a bunny rabbits. (Better than Bugs Bunny)

TFGirl // Her brother is part of the famous Chinese boy group TfBoys. Plus, she's known as her brother's sister because he likes to post the selcas of them together on his Weibo page and has been an extra in a couple of their MV's. So, their fans decided to call her the "Unofficial TFGirl"

➳ 豆皮/두피 // Dòpí/Dupi // "Tofu Skin"Yes, her nickname, as weird as it sounds, is Tofu Skin. From the Korean words for "Tofu" and "Skin, same in Mandarin. Because she gets complimented and sometimes is the subject of envy with some other trainees of her pale skin that resembles tofu. (Why couldn't they just called me Snow White instead of comparing me to food? Even though tofu skin is delicious)

➳ 无白/순바 // Wúbái/Sunba // "Innocent Idiot" / Her friends and family calls her this because she seems to believe in a lot of things that people tell her. Ecspecially since she became a trainee in Korea, and some of the other trainees joke around with her saying things that are not true, that a typical foreigner would believe.

AGE ) 16
BIRTHDAY ) November 8th

BIRTH PLACE ) Chongqing, China
HOMETOWN ) Seoul, South Korea

ETHNICITY ) Full Chinese
NATIONALITY ) Chinese (renews her Visa to stay in South Korea to train)
LANGUAGES
Mandarin / Native / Yujie is born and raised In China for majority of their lives. So, I guess you can say that she is pretty native to the language.

Korean / Semi-Fluent / Because she was born and raised majority of her life in China, she doesn't really know much Korea. She has only been living in South Korea for a while, so she got the jist of the language from learning from the people around her. Ecspecially from the other Chinese trainees, because they've all been there when they came to South Korea. Yujie is good at Korean pronounciation, but her Korean writing can be a bit off. She also has the tendency to speak Korean one moment, and then Mandarin comes out of no where.

FACE CLAIM ) Kim Saeron (actress)
BACK UP FACE CLAIM ) WJSN's Cheng Xiao
APPEARANCE ) Okay, not to brag, but sometimes you got it or you don't got it. When it comes to her looks she got it and by "it" I mean A LOT. Even though Seoyeon is not "goddess" level with her beauty, she definately fits in what her brother likes to call, "the innocent girl in class". And chances are, you already know what he's talking about. The girl in class who sits next to the window in class, with the sunlight beaming down on her that makes her look more like an angel. Ecspecially when she's seen reading a book in her hand, and tucks a strand of hair behind her ear, which makes a good amount of guys, ecspecially when she's seen reading a book in her hand, and tucks a strand of her hair behind her ear (*que older brother cracking his knuckles) fall for her cute and innocent image. She stands at a nice 167cm and weighs at 49kg which makes her seem slightly underweight, but according to her BMI results, it's actually a healthy duo. She has a nice natural pale skin that she gets complimented on a lot by her mom's friends and make-up stylists and some had said that her skin can make Snow White a run for her money and/or dwarfs. She used to have natural dark brown hair that almost seemed black, but she had recently dyed it to a lighter shade of brown for an MV cameo for one of Seventeens songs. Plus, she's known for her lean face and her double eye-lids which rurned into the cutest set of cresent moons when she smiled with her bunny teeth (Which she has been told makes her resemble her brother a lot more). She also has nice long lashes, but it wasn't visible unless she has mascara on. Also due to her small/petite body shape, she has good bobdy proportions, and she doesn't nessiscarily needed to workout and/or diet that much. But Seoyeon has tried to bulk up and gain a bit more weight because she thought she was too skinny. But yet after countless amounts of muscle training and cardio workouts, she didn't really gain much muscle, but she has gain a faint lining for her abs which can show - depending on the lighting. She has one flaw that she loves, but is always hidden by makeup. It's a small birthmark on her jawline that almost has a diamond shape. She absolutley loves because it makes her seem more different than the other girls and makes her unique.

STYLE ) Despite her innocent and cute perception, she actually has a style that is a whole 360 degree turn. Because Seoyeon doesn't like floral, feminine, in easier terms feminine clothing. She doesn't like to wear dresses, skirts, and heels. She thinks that just being born a girl is already being feminine. She has what you call a bit of a tomboy style, but it a bit more edgier. She likes wearing ripped jeans, with a band t-shirt (Don't worry, I know all the bands on the t-shirts I own) and to top it all of either her favourite pair of black, leather combat boots, or her worn out white converse. But a minor note, when it's too hot or just when she feels like it, she'll just wear shorts instead of jeans. Maybe if she feels like it, she'll wear a beanie or a snapback to add more to her look. Also, when it comes to wearing make-up she doesn't like to have the cute or over the top looks. She just likes to keep it natural so, she just puts on BB cream, mascara, eyeliner, and some natural colored lip gloss. Another thing is that she usually changes her style when it depands on what she has to do. Like if it's for a photoshoot she'll try to match the concept, but she'll make sure that she'll have something that matches her own personal style. Like if she has to wear white clothing to potray an innocent look, she'll try to convince the fashion coordinator to let her wear a white leather jacket, or a white beanie. Y'know? Something that represents her. But the only time when she has to get all dolled up is when she has to go to a formal event. So only at those times she'll wear a dress and heels. Other than that - you ain't gonna see her with that as casual wear.

PERSONALITY )
(+) Sedulous, Determined, Positive, Bold, Friendly
➳ (-) Introverted, Perfectionist, Gullible, Rebellious, Resentful

Despite Yujie's young age, she had always had the aspiration and determination to be a successful person in life. So everything she has done in her life, whether it was studying or doing something else, her sedulous attitude towards the things she does has always been praised by her peers and has gain a lot of respect. Again, because she's only 16, and probably one of the more younger girl trainees, and with her diligince it makes her seem a bit more mature than the other girls because she does heavily deicates in her crafts. It's all because she's determined to do her best  to become an idol, and that's her motivation to keep on going in the scary world of the trainee life. Many sunbaes, and older trainers recognize her laser eye focus when she's practcing because you can just see it in her eyes that she wants to be on the stage more than anything. She doesn't care how much sweat she has to accumalate to do have it, or even have a taste of it. She also has the determination to prove that she isn't her brother's sister. She just wants to prove to herself that she has a name that doesn't start with so and so sister. But as just Wang Yujie. She hasn't been a trainee as along as some of the other girls who are joined the show, but that doesn't mean she does't have the mindset to not waste any moment of practising because it'll lead up to something big soon. Then again, she is 16 years old, and she just have to optimistic and positive. Because Yujie is a bit unlike her brother, aura wise, it's suprising when she talks outloud among the girls. But the words that do come out of are words that sticks in your head. Because she has always been the one to lighten up the mood when the atomsphere is too tense. Plus, once Yujie is not practicing Yujie is actually pretty friendly. Ecspecially, if there's a new trainee entering the company, she knows how it felt like to br an outsider coming in. So, she likes to make herself someone included to their trainee expierience, so when that person looks back at how they started, they'll remember that they didn't start their journey alone. Yujie is like someone who restores the intensive atomsphere into a relaxed one where everyone can just breathe. Plus, when she smiles and says, "Isn't it better that we failed? I mean, we can get praised every single day, but is that really going to build us?" is something that can make you smile at her positivity and way of thinking. Another thing that's commendable about Yujie's personality, is that she can be very bold. She doesn't like to be daring with her choices, and she's definately not afraid to take risks. Because is doing something ordinary, going to make you stand out? No. Plus, she doesn't want to keep wondering, "what if?". Instead she wants to take risks because even if she fails, atleast she can said that she tried. And would probably say, "when your best and you don't succeed~".

But to just get Yujie is a bit hard. Because she can be a bit introverted in the beginning. Her brother was usually the one who pushes her to go out and try to interact with other people. Even if it's against her will. Because when she came to Korea by herself, she was alone. Her family is all away in China, and she was just there - alone. It's scary. Ecspecially when you're a foreigner. She was basically mute, since she didn't really talk to anybody even despite knowing basic Korean. But she does try to get herself more out there. Yet as of now, you kind of have to be the first to approach her if you want her to talk. But just don't talk to her when she's practicing, because it's like talking to a brick wall. Because of her sedulous attitude, it cause her to just zone out and she just focuses in front of the mirror, totally engrossed with what she's doing. It's just a waste of time, if you try to start a conversation with her, or just try to tell her to just slow down. She won't be listening and won't be stopping herself anytime too. It's also a good idea to double cross this girl. Because she likes to think of herself as someone who treats everyone with respect, and even if they're older, she can still hold a grudge. If you even dare to disrespect her, she's not afraid to discard any respect that she had for you. That can cause her to a bit rebellious as well. That's basically when she talks the most, is when she's displeased and she'll vocally expresses her opinion. Also happens when she wants to take a risk, that other people think is a not a good idea. She'll just do it anyway because she has the confidence that she can do it. Another fault in her stars, is one that makes her brother very worried while she's in South Korea. It's that she's Innocent Idiot. She believes anything that you tell her. Do you know hard it is to tell her that Santa is probably not real? So hard. Because she likes to think that, that there's good in everybody, yet she doesn't really think about they people who don't always have a good in them. So, that's what really worries her brother, and her friends to worry as well.

PAST ) Yujie was born in Chongqing, China as a girl fraternal twin. To whom, you may ask? To no other than the main vocal of TFBoys, Roy Yuan. When she was younger, she and her brother would have to do anything with each other. So, you can bet that they bicker to each other about a lot of things. Ecspecially about how Yujie was born only 1 minute older than him, and basically uses that excuse everytime when someone has to do the dishes, since she's "older". You can bet that, their mother was given twice amount of headaches when it came to her children. But nonetheless, they love each other, (even though they don't say it outloud), and wouldn't ask for a better twin. Roy was more protective of her when they were kids too, since he didn't want his innocent sister to be contaminated by the mean world out there.

During school, Yujie and Roy were very shy kids in school. That didn't bother them, because they had each other, and they were usually seen together in class all thr time. But just because she was quiet and didn't really make her presence known, but she had a few secret admirers in her class. Because just picture her just smiling at someone. Your heart will melt! But with a protective twin brother, when someone wanted to ask him if they can go talk to her (yes, if you were a boy, you even had to have permission to talk to Yujie to talk to her) he would usually say, "You want to talk to her? We're twins, you can just talk to me!" He would say brightly, and drag them to a different location from where Yujie was. Then she would just look at them from her paper, (since she was so focused on her work in school) and just stared at them confused. Then she would shrug it off and go back to doing her work.

Soon, Roy got recruited into TF Entertainment in 2012. Of course, Yujie was proud of her younger brother. Because ever since they were kids they would listen and sing to the Chinese folk songs throughout their house and how he always wanted to become a singer after their second grade teacher advised him to take singing lessons. She had the aspirations to become a singer like her brother too, and auditioned for the same company, but unfortunatley she didn't pass. But despite her not getting into the company with her brother, she was happy for him that he can become a singer, but she was a bit sad because they had to spend less time with each other with him training. She would try to visit him, when they practiced for their debut, The first time when she visited him, and after clarifiying that she is his twin sister, Yujie was suprised of how Roy's confidence had improved when he started training. Roy introduced her to s, of course she was shy, but luckily the other boys made her warm up to them by saying, "Are you sure you're Roy's twin sister? Because you're that and he's.... that."

When he officially debuted as a member of TFBoys in 2013, she was so proud, and you can bet that she had bought posters, and did a lot of things to support her brother and his group. When it was TFBoys first anniversary in Beijing, and unfortunately, she wasn't able to go. But that didn't stop her brother from going onto his Weibo, and thanking his family for being there and uploaded a picture of them as well. That's when Yujie has gone "viral" in China for her cute and innocent image like her brother. More people noticed her at school, and try to befriend her, but her brother told her to not believe the people who are coming towards her now, because they didn't approach before the picture, why would approach her after the picture? Roy liked the feedback that his sister was getting for her looks (minus the boys commenting that Yujie was their ideal type). TF Entertainment was too, and tried to recruit her into the company, but this time she rejected their offer because of what Roy told her. So, they asked Roy to try using Yujie as a extra in some of their MV's. Roy begged her, and after constant cringey words from him, she reluctantly agreed. She wasn't a TF trainee, so when a couple of entertainment contacted her family, to be a trainee at their company was an overwhelming time because she never thought that this many people would be appraoching her with a bunch of opportunities.

(Late 2013) Roy convinced her, after a long talk about how she wanted to become a singer too, and she tried, but failed and stopped. He tried to convince to get up and back on the saddle because when they were kids, they sang together all the time, and it was their dream for each other to both become singers and stand on the stage. She thought and thought, and she finally decided to dream again. One of the calls that she got was from Yuehua Entertainment, she agree with them because she was a SuJu fan when Han Geng was a member, and she though it would be awesome to be in the same company as him.

(Early 2014) Only after a couple of months training in Yuehua, her CEO (Du Hua) called her into his office, and told her that she should branch out into the Korean market and go to one of their partner companies, Pledis Entertainment. It was like the world stopped for a moment. Because she already shy when she entered the company, so just imagine going to a different country. That's scary. She barely knows the language, and doesn't anyone there. At this point, she was ready to quit becoming an idol. She told her parents about the situation she was in, and honestly her parents were a bit iffy of it like Yujie was. Yet, when Roy came into the discussion, he thought it was a great opportunity for her. Because, he is a K-Pop fan himself, and to think that his older sister could become like one was so cool. Of course, he told that it would be sad to know that they're miles a part from each other and they already barely see each other with him just working in China. Yet with these words, it made her final decision.

"I know that our original dream was to be singers together and now your presented with an opportunity much more bigger than what we dreamed. You just recently decided to go for your dreams again, and you're overwhelmed now, but just think about it. You were rejected once, but know you're training in a company that offered you something way more better. I mean, when we were younger, we told each other everything we do, we do it for each other. I wanted to become a singer, like you wanted to become a singer. Now the tables have turned a bit. You want to become a singer because I wanted you to become a singer, right? But now, I wanted something better for you and we both know I wouldn't want this for you if it wasn't the best. I'm pushing you to agree to that offer because you would go way more farther there and hone your skills much more over there. But this choice is not in my hands. It's in yours. Whatever you choose, I'll understand."

She decided to quit being a singer.

Just kidding! After a couple of days, rewinding what her brother has said, and talking about it more with her parents, she had finally decided. When the CEO called her back into his office to hear what her choice is, she agreed.

So in just a couple of weeks of getting everything ready she was off to South Korea. At the airport, her family, and even Jackson and Junkai (TFBoys members) sent her off. Of course, she was getting teary eyed because she doesn't know when she'll see them in person again. Ecspcially when it was Roy's turn to say their farewells. The twins gave each other a tight embrace and told each other not to overwork themself and work hard for what may come in the future.

Now (2016) in Pledis, with the talks of Pledis and Starship deciding which lucky female trainees will be chosen to participate in the program was hectic. Many of the female trainees started training more more harder, to stand out and be chosen into the final line-up to represent Pledis.

When she started her training, she dedicated herself from the start. Many seniors, coaches, and trainers of Pledis say that Seoeyon is a very diligent with her training, but the only thing that held them back from choosing Seoyeon is her young age, and even if she was a trainee for a couple years, more of the older girls in Pledis seem like they are more expierience than her. Yet, when of her trainers asked her if she wanted to be on the show she said, "I would like to be on the show because... Well, I think I got something to prove to others and even myself. Being a trainee is not a gaurentee that you'll debut, but the people who do make it and debut, I always think to myself, "Wah, they made it because they're strong enough to wait". Yeah, I may be one of the youngest girls and I might not debut because of that, but if I go out and do my best every time I'm given a chance to it'll only make me stronger for the long run If I debut, then... maybe I am stronger than I seem, to myself and others."

Those were the words that the trainer recited for the final discussion for the final line-up of trainees to represent Pledis Entertainment.

Even if that trainer saw that "Something" (BAM! TVXQ REFERENCE!) it's all in the hands of Mr. Han Sungsoo.

FAMILY
➳ Mother / Wang, Bingbing (fc: Fan BingBing) / 37 / Caring, Nuturing, Kind
Straight off the bat, just by looking at her you can just tell, that she had guys lining up to have a chance with her. Then when you figure out that she's married, and have kids, you knew that they cursed at the lucky bastard for stealing her heart. Bingbing is a total sweetheart. So, when she figured out that she was going to have a baby, more so twins, you can bet she had a total breakdown. Luckily, when they were born she was the best mother, and she tried her absolite best to try to include herself into her child's life. She is just an overall sweetheart.

➳
Father / Wang, Chen (fc: Li Chen) / 37 / Caring, Cool, Collected
Chen was always the quiet guy when he was a kid, so when he had Roy he thought that he definatley had the wrong child. But nonetheless he loved him and his daughter. Chen had always been one to be the cool, calm and colected type among his peers, and his kids. But he's definatley the cool parent among his kids. Because his wife has had a reputation as a Debbie Downer with some things. (We all had those moms). Like when their mom said, no ice cream for desert, when she wasn't looking at the kids were going to their rooms, he handed them two popsicles and told them to just keep walking. Plus, when Yujie fell down her bike, her mom was having a mini-meltdown, her dad was treating her wounds calmly. He's close with his daughter because he was his princess, and doted on her a lot. Plus, making sure that she knows that she's not allowed to get a boyfriend until marriage. (Yujie still doesn't know what that means to this very day).

➳ Twin Brother / Wang, "Roy" Yuan (fc: Roy Wang of TFBoys) / 16 / Shy, Playful, Protective
Roy and Yujie are very similiar in many ways with their personality, and maybe because their twins. Not many people believed that he was shy as a kid, because of his playful image that he shows to his fans. He cares a lot about Yujie, because his dad told him to always protect her from the predators boys in the world. But like all siblings they bicker at times, about who's the better looking, who's smarter, and the basic "I'm dad's/mom's favourite twin!". Yet, since they are twins they know that they work better together, rather than working against each other. When growing up, they were inseperable since they both shy and they were kind of each other's refuge when it came to being too shy to talk to others. He always wants the best for his "older" sister, even if he has to suffer a bit. Like when she had the opportunity to go to Korea, for her potential to grow, he has to say goodbye for a while.

FRIENDS
Best Friend / Li, Nana (fc: Nana Ou-Yang) / 16 / Sassy, Outgoing, Shameless
Nana and Yujie seemed the most unlikely pair of best friends, but that's probably why thiey work so well. They're each other's ying to the others yang. Due to Nana's outgoing personality, it was bound to have Yujie to break down her walls in 6th grade and become great friends. Nana also made Roy a bit jealous thinking that he was going to take his sister away from him, but luckily Nana told him that she's straight and have no intentions to take Yujie with her that far. Another thing you have to know about Nana is that the gir has no shame. Dspite her innocent face, she knows everything *wink* *wink* a person should know. She misses her best friend now that she's in another country, but she is satisfied with their Skype calls, text message to each other while she's there. Plus, when Yujie told her that she was going to compete on a survival show to debut, she was so excited and so ready to cheer her on. Even if it annoys some other classmates

➳ Twin's Best Friend / Wang, Junkai / 16 / Charismatic, Charming, Sportive
Junkai is the leader of TFBoys not because he's the oldest, but he's very charismatic about the group. He wants them all to shine equally. He's very lighthearted so it's easy for people to get more comfortable with him. Plus, the boy got charm for days. It's what most girls fall for him for. When he first met Yujie and was introduced as Roy's twin sister he was definatley dumbfounded because Yujie was a girl and that there was more than an identical twin. He's very close with Yujie (but not too close that Roy would be overly protective), he's close to her like a big brother. He admires that Yujie supports her brother through thick and thin, and Roy does the same. He thinks their relationship was fake, because it's very scary to have siblings get a long that well. Also, fun fact, Yujie first crush was on Junkai, but she never told him her feelings. (Que One Direction, "Story of my life~"). Roy approves with his sister because he is older and the leader of the group and has no intention to look at her more than a sister and brother way

➳ Best Friend / Yi, Jackson / 16 / Quiet, Chivalrous, Cautious
Despite being the youngest in the group, he's more of the quiet type. But his chivalrous ways make you fall into his charms. Because let's be honest chivalry is still alive because it's within him. Like Yujie and Roy he is a bit shy and cautious around the people that he meets. But it only took a while to warm up to Yujie because all she gotta do was smile with her eyes and she won him over right there. He also introduced her to K-pop because he is a YG stan and showed her, her first K-pop video and she liked and he gave her a whole intro to YG artists. Again, like with Junkai, Jackson looked upon Yujie as a little sister, and because Roy gave him a good side-eye when Jackson was sitting beside her too closely. But whenever Yujie and Jackson are together, it's like watching a K-Drama moment, when they sit beside each other, but it's silent yet their presence to each other is something that make them smile
➳
Gēgē - Mèimei  / Wen Junhui / 20 / Positive, Dorky, Encouraging
Before reading this, you promise that you will tell nothing to Roy, or else World War III is going to start. When Yujie was just starting out as a trainee, not a lot of people notice her because she was so quiet and kept to herself. That's when Jun came into the picture. He noticed how Yujie was a bit nervous and talked to her. At first he talked to her in Korean, and once he saw the puzzled look on her face, he realized that she was a foreigner. Junhui hadn't been in China for a long time when he started to become a trainee, and didn't know that Yujie was TFBpy's twin sister. But he later figured it out when Yujie told him about the TFBoys. So, he decided to speak to her again in Manadarin this time. Thank goodness she understood or else that would've been completely embarassing. As days, weeks and months flew by, little by little they got close to one another and comfortable around each other presences. Junhui treats her like a little sister, and Yujie treated her like a big brother. Junhui even helped her improve her Korean, and Junhui even taught her how to play the piano. When Seventeen debuted, Yujie was very much happy and proud of him like she was when Roy debuted with the TFBoys.

OTHERS
Rival / Zhou, Jieqiong (a.k.a Pinky) / 17 / Snarky, Competitive, Honest
Pinky and Yujie entered the company around the same time. They didn't really interected much with each other before because, y'know in the end of the day, in the words of the Ssenunnie herself, that "We're not a team. This is a competition.". But it wasn't until eariler this year they started to see each other as more of rivals rather than just another trainee. Because when the talks of Produce 101 starting to recruit trainees, and Pledis decided to join it was safe to say it was like war at that moment. Many trainees were vigorously training, and they were choosing the final girl to join Pledis' team of trainees it was down to Pinky and Yujie. Pinky didn't really show much mercy towards Yujie's young age, and did not go easy on her. because she thought she was obviously more better in terms of experience and could show more to people than Yujie could at that time. Ecspecially when In the end it was Pinky who got the final slot, because she was older and a bit more expierienced and could do better than Yujie. When it was announced that Pinky was the final member to join the line-up, of course, Yujie was upset and a bit salty towards her, but she uses that experience to train ever more harder than before. So, one day she'll be in a official group before Pinky.

STAGE NAME ) BB + BB stands for, "BaoBei". It's well known in Asia (I guess. I'm just assuming) that Baobei means prescious and/or treasure. but also a term of endearment, like "baby" and "love". The reason why she picked that name is because she wants   fans to say her name with endearment
PERSONA ) TFBaby + Among majority of the trainees (usually the Chinese trainees), they knew about Yujie being Roy's "older" twin sister. She's also one of the youngest girl trainees being born as a 00' liner. Ecspecially, people see her that way because when they were revealing the trainees for the show, Pledis included the fact that she's TFBoy's Roy's "older" twin sister and her young age.

TRAINING LIFE )
Well in the beginning of her trainee life in Pledis was very nervewracking. Ecspecially because Yujie knew very limited Korean when she arrived in Korea and was really nervous to talk to anybody at that point. She felt very vulnerable and scared because it's her first time being away from family and friends, heck she was even scared to get on the plane! Plus, whenever she was nervous Roy would've squeezed her hand to know that someone was there beside her, but she didn't have that assurance that somebody was there.
After the first couple months she did not talk to almost anyone. Her Korean was getting better, but she didn't feel comfortable to have a full conversation with anybody. She also communicated with her family, (mostly Roy) and Nana over Skype. Roy would tell her to make friends already, yet Nana said, "Don't replace me!". So, she just stayed mute. Luckily, there were a couple of other trainees that noticed that she was a bit nervous and decided to comfort her. Luckily, the first person she met was Chinese and could communicate with her. That the basic starting point of her to get comfortable.

But just because she's comfortable to talk to other people, she was not going to lose focus on what she came from China to do. At Pledis she mostly worked on her singing skills. While she was practcsing singing she, also managed to picked up on how to play the piano by another trainee, who is a close friend now.
Of course, I think what almost every trainee had a moment when they just wanted to quick and Yujie was no exception. I mean, ecspecially when it was her and her brother's birthday. He was back at home with everybody else, and she was there alone in South Korea, video chatting with them, trying to not bawl her eyes out. She just wanted to quit then and there. But once her brother said some encouraging words and to just hold on a bit more, she wiped her tears and held her head up and kept going.

TRIVIA )
➳ likes
- Learning // I know what you're thinking. HOW CAN I CHILD LIKE LEARNING?! Well, Yujie just always liked learning since she was little and she just likes knowing that her brain is working and that she can absorbs almost everything she's doing
- Bubble Tea // She honestly and forever will be drinking bubble tea until she's sick of it and honestly she won't ever be.
I Wanna Be The Very Best // She loves Pokemon and her favourite Pokemon will forever be Gible, because he small, but packs a whole lot of power. You can also bet that she loves playing Pokemon GO!
Let's Get Physical! // She like excersing. Even despite having a small figure, she likes to keep her body a bit toned, so people won't just see bones and skin
TFBoys // You were expecting this weren't you? She loves TFBoys, but her favourite member is Wang Junkai (Sh! Don't tell my brother, please!)
Spice, Spice, Baby! // She loves anything and everything spicy! She could literally eat pepper paste and wouldn't even break a sweat
- Guabao // Ask Yujie to choose between a billion dollars and a million guabaos. She would literally, without any hesitations, pick guabaos. She loves eating them and once she ate them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner

- They're Playing Basketball~ // Yujie likes playing basketball due to playing with her brother when they were younger. She was on a sports team to in China at her school. She'll usually play a pointguard, plus she can do some pretty sick basketball trick shots
Singing // Just like her brother, her passion is singing. She just likes how you can just communicate with someone that you don't even know, yet you can just connect through the song
- I'm Only Seventeen & I Got a Few Dollars // No, before you ask, she doesn't like Vernon (or else Lulu would kill her) she likes Seventeen, since she had been training alongside them for 2 years when she started. She got closer to them when she was the main girl in their "Very Nice" MV. (A/N: When I wanted Seventeen's One Fine Day, and they were asking food from the grandma, I was like, If I was her, I would've gave them my whole fridge. Was that just me who thought of that?
- Bang, Bang, Bang // When Jackson was trying to warm up to Yujie when she visted Roy when they were training, he introduced her to Big Bang, and that's actually how she knew K-pop. When she laid her eyes on T.O.P she was sold to the whole K-pop phase (Jackson ruined, yet made my life a bit more better)
Writing // She likes writing. She did that a lot in school. She wrote poems, short stories, and what happened in her daily life. It more critical when she started training. Because she couldn't talk to a lot of other trainees, and she wouldn't talk to her family and friends in China because they had ther own schedules. So, when she wrote in her journal it was like she was venting her feelings to someone
- Happy Camp // Happy Camo is a Chinese variety shows that features celebrities. Mostly Chinese, but there are some K-pop stars that come on. She absolutely is a big fan of the show. The games, and the questions can make her laugh for days.
➳ dislikes
- You Think You're Cooler Than Me? // She absolutely cannot stand any arrogant people, who think they're all that. Whatever "that" is, I'm pretty sure humble isn't one of them.
- Aren't You Roy Wang's Twin Sister? // Even though she's proud be called her brother's sister, it honestly gets annoying at times. Even though in South Korea Chinese music isn't that mainstream as actual K-pop music, but overseas fans in China do call her that many times. So, hoepfull through the show, she can just potray herself as just Wang Yujie
No, I'm Not Crying. These Are Legit Beads of My Sweat // Even though Yujie is a big fan of sports, she doesn't lile playing them in the heat. Not a lot people like playing on a ground where you legit cook an egg
- Peanut Butter // She absolutey hates butter from the peanuts. It just that the naste of the nut is so strong for her and makes dry when she eats it. Plain nasty.
Like Neon Lights~ NO! // Her eyes are very sensitive, and she can't handle anything bright. Like she can't stare at neon colors for too long or her eyes get agitated. Also, when they're doing photoshoots, when the bright light flashes, it takes time for her eyes to readjust and do another pose
"You're Adopted?" NEXT CHANNEL! // She absolutely cannot stand any dramas and cliches. She's really picky about the Tv shows she watches. Because the cliches are so predicatable, and it's she thinks it's because to cause drama between two characters. With the cliches that she heard and how they occurred, she can predict a lot of things that's going to happen and it happens
Get In The Car, Loser. We're Going Shopping! // She does not like shopping. She thinks it's a waste of time and money. Because you by something, than next week a new trend comes out. It doesn't make sense to her
-
I'm Not Anorexic // Yujie does get comments about her small, and petite figure. Which is worth being praised for, but she gets a bit insecure and offended. Some people come up to her and ask, "How are you so thin?" it's not like she goes up to someone and ask, "How are you so fat?"
- Today I Don't Feel Like Doing Anything~ GET UP // Yujie is a mover. She doesn't like to just sit there and do nothing. She has do something to keep her occupied. Even doing her homework. (That's right, I said it.)
- 1+1 = A window // Despite doing well in math, she doesn't like it. She doesn't like numbers. She doesn't like numbers with letters more. And she absolutely doesn't like numbers with letters and equations the most.
- Mint // She does not like the taste of mint. But she only puts up with it, if she has to brush her teeth. But actual mint and mint flavoured products, no. She cannot deal
- Kimchi SLAP- Back Away Slowly // Despite living in South Korea for a couple years, she's still not used to the strong smell and taste of the fermented cabbage.
- I'm Not Cute! // With a face like hers, she does get called cute quite often, but she doesn't like it. She doesn't just wanted to be remembered as a cute face, but as someone who can atleast let others to misjudge her to only let her suprise them

➳ habits
- You Need To Go To The Washroom? // You know when you have to go pee really badly and you start to shake you're leg because you're really anxious to go? That's Yujie's problem. NOT HER BLADDER. But because she keeps shaking her leg unconciously when she's nervous. (And occaisonally to go to the washroom)
你在开玩笑吗?날 바보하지 마! // This usually happens when Yujie is overly excited, mad, and/or just in the spur of the moment. She randomly mixes the two languages together. Also, if she doesn't know the word she's describing, she blurts it out in Mandarin

➳ hobbies
- Writing is The Painting of The Voice! // Is what exactly Yujie thinks to herself when she's writing. It's no secret to others that Yujie loves to write in her journal. She likes to trap herself with her thoughts, with what she's writing down in the papers of her own imagination
- Life is Like a Piano. Whatever Happens Depends on What You Play // To get this clear, Yujie has only started to play piano for 2 years. (I am no Beethoven). When she became a traniee, she started to learn how to play piano with another trainee, who was more experienced than her. She still practices it today
- A Book is A Gift That You Can Always Open, Again and Again // A long with writng, she loves to read too. She mostly likes to read non-fiction books, because she thinks it's more relatable with people.
- Acting is Just Another Word for Pretending // As a trainee, she also picked up on acting skills. Because, and it's hard to believe, but she looks more like an actor rather than an idol. But she soley focused on her idol skills, rather than her acting. But she keeps acting as a side hobby

➳ trivia
- Kimchi Are My Stomach Worst Nightmare // When she was learning about Korean culture, it wasn't that long to notice that a lot of Koreans love their kimchi. She tried it once, but only ended up throwing it up moments later. Ever since then, she never ate kimchi again
- Get Me My Apron! Please... // Despite her young age, Yujie knows how to cook. But mostly Chinese food than Korean food. She gets compliments from the trainees when she cooks
- Let Me Clean in Peace! // A strange thing for Yujie when she's stress and she doesn't have her journal to vent to, she cleans. But on the bright side, no one has to pay for a maid!
- Are Those Fake Tears? Yup! // When she was practising acting, she learned how to fake cry. She even knows how to cry on demand. (It comes in handy when she wants something from my brother!)
- 4EYES // She actually wears glasses. But only when she ends her day of training and heads back to the dorm, that she puts them on. She only wears contacts when she's training. The rest of the time, she wears her glasses.
- Peanut Butter, Jelly Time(?) // It's hard to believe, but Yujie has never once ate a peanut butter sandwhich before. Which other people find shocking, but she can't eat it knowing that peanut butter is the main ingredient
- Don't Tickle Me! // She has a very low (and I mean 0.1%) tolerance, for being tickled. She cannot stand people tickling her for a second. She even hates to set her phone on vibrate because it tickles her
- Chop! Chop! // When she's cooking, she has amazing knife skills. You know what I'm talking about, right? The way that masterchefs (Shout out to Gordan Ramsay) just cut vegtables and meat perfectly? That's her special skill (legit is in her profile) and she does it so quickly too!
With My Left or My Right? // She has the ability to write and do almost everything and anything with both of her hands. Like writing
- Is This Normal? // Yujie once broke her arm when she was playing basketball and things got too rough. After the accident and taking the cast off, she figured out that she can turn arms 360 degrees, and it's freaky as F
- Remix This // She can remix songs with her mouth

- When I Grow Up // When Yujie was younger, she actually wanted to become a teacher. But she lost interest when she actually spent some time with actual little kids
I'm Not Scared of Anything. Okay... Maybe that... // Yujie is not easily scared, but after her experience with children she literally thought that she had pediaphobia (fear of children)
- Time to Go to School // Yujie attends Seoul Overseas Chinese High School and is currently a sophomore
Long Story Short // It's illegal to have more than one children in China. It was only allowed until last year on October 29th. But the only reason that both Roy and Yujie still reside is China because there were no penalties for multiple chld birth. So, her mom and dad and themselves dodged a big bullet
When you realize DK's smile is brighter than your futureThis literally me at school and the teacher gave us a pop quiz Savage mode
LEE SEOKMIN A.K.A DK A.K.A DOKYEOM
WEN JUNHUI A.K.A JUN / XU MINGHAO A.K.A THE8

PERSONALITY ) We all know that Dokyeom is the vitamin of Seventeen. With his smile than can brighten up your day wothout any fail. He's really outgoing, and despite being the last member to join the original line-up for Seventeen, he's the member that warmed up to everybody. Plus, he's a part of the Unholy Trinity of what is more known as the Gag Trio a long with Seungkwan and Hoshi. He said himself that he likes to spend time cheerfully so he likes to make the others to feel more energetic, but sometimes it can get out of hand so he needs to have more self-control. He also has a great passion for singing, and that sometimes he can greedy when he sings. (to DK stans is very understandable, because have you heard his high notes?) Yet, as fans we notice that he has a sensitive side to himself as well, that we sometimes forget because of his bright and cheery attitude. A perfect example is when Seventeen had their pre-debut show, and in one episode, Seungkwan was the one who had the most compliments and praises from his seniors, where as he didn't get any feedback. He wants to improve more for the sake of his team, but it didn't go to according to what he wanted to hear. So, he tries include himself into everything he does with a lot more confidence and willpower. Plus, he's always there for the members when they need him. Like when Seventeen was on OFD, Seungkwan said that he was so nervous and said that one member can imitate a pigeon and gestured to DK, he couldn't say that he can't do it, and went for it so Seungkwan had something to fall back on. Basically, DK is someone that he all think we know, but at the same time we're still learning so much about him.

FIRST MEETING ) Well, DK and Yujie both met each other around the same time when they both became trainees in Pledis in 2013. They were honestly both scared to talk to anyone. It was only after like a couple of months that Seokmin started to notice her. Because when Yujie was getting closer to Junhui at the time, she was heard giggling, laughing, and having conversations in Chinese. Seokmin would say that he was infaturated with her giggle, because it sounded cute to him. Plus, he fell for crescent eyes when he smiled. But when he first actually tried to speak to Yujie, it was kind of awkward. Because Yujie Korean was at that point to start to have full conversations with people, but only at the point when she could pick up bits and pieces of what the other was saying to her. He thought that Yujie's confused face, was actually potraying that she didn't know why she was talking to her. So, to end the awkwardness, Yujie said that she has to go back to practising and left the room. Since, then Seokmin has been a bit nervous whenever he tries to start a converation with her and honestly was a bit worried since, for a social butterfly like him it as kind of new for him to try and get comfortable with someone for this long.

It was only after talking to Junhui, that he learned that Yujie didn't talk to him and brushed him off wasn't because she was trying to ignore him purposefully, but because she was ignoring him because of the language barrier. So, with the bright and cheery attitude of his, he asked Junhui to be a translator for him. Suprised about Seokmin proposal, Junhui was a bit taken back at first, but seeing Yujie just being quiet and not really making any allies to have her back made him agree. So, whenever Junhui talked to Yujie, Seokmin would tag along.

Jun(in Chinese): "Hi, Yujie!"
Yujie (in Chinese): "Hi, Gege!" *Looks at Seokmin* "Who's that?"
Seokmin: *Notices Yujie's confused look at him and nudges Jun in the rib to mention him*
Jun: *Rubs his right side of his ribs* (in Chinese) "This is my friend, Lee Seokmin." *Gestures her to him, while still rubbing is side*
*Seokmin and Yujie bow at each other* (in Korean) S&Y: "Annyeonghaseyo."
Seokmin (in Korean): "Hyung, can you tell her that I was the guy who tried to have a conversation with her a couple months ago?"
Jun (in Chinese): Seokmin was that awkward guy that you told me about that tried to talk to you a couple months ago.
*Yujie looked at Seokmin and remembers the awkward smile he gave her when he tried to talk to her*
Yujie (in Korean): "I remember you!"
*Seokmin was smiling, because he could finally understand what she was saying*
Yujie (in broken Korean): "I heard... you sing. Very good singing skills."
*Seokmin was a bit puzzled with that she just said.*
Jun (in Korean): She said that she heard you singing before, and you have great singing skills."
*Seokmin smiles again, and is internally doing flips in his head*
*Yujie notices Seokmin smiles and smiles herself*
Yujie (in actual Korean): "I like your smile."
*Que Seokmin giggling at her compliment*
*Now que Jun looking back between the two who were both smiling at each other and full Gege mode and interrupted the cute moment*
Jun (in Chinese): "Yujie, we have to go practice. We'll see you soon okay? Don't work too hard!"
*Yujie waves bye to the two boys. Where Seokmin was still smiling and waving back at Yujie, while Jun waved bacj while dragging Seokmin by he back of his shirt*

- When it was just them -

*Seokmin hugs Jun*
Seokmin: "Thank you, hyung!"

Ever since then, Seokmin has tagged along with Jun with his talks with Yujie. Since Jun knew that Yujie was shy and he was like her stand-in brother in South Korea, while her legit brother is in China, Jun had a sense to protect her from boys that seemed to have an interest in her. And Seokmin did not hide that at all. During their chats with Yujie, whenever tries to converse with them in Korean, Seokmin would laugh at her little mispronounciations, and would correct her. Also, since Seokmin and Yujie both majored in vocals, and Pledis is one of those companies that had conjoined sessions with both male and female trainees, they spent a lot of time together, and helped her with her pronounciation and controlled emotions for the song as well.

So when Seokmin asked Jun if Yujie had any interest in anyone, Jun was not afrad of what her intentions were of Yujie's feelings. Seokmin just went out and said it, "I like her.". Jun sighed and told him that he shouldn't tell him that, but her actual brother. He was a bit confused about what he meant by.

Jun told her that she had a protective "younger" twin brother that Yujie told him about who was always trying to have boys avoid Yujie at all times. Seokmin was a bit afraid to go forward with his feelings for Yujie because of that because Yujie was always protected from boys by her twin brother and he didn't want her to feel like she was betraying her brother because of his intentions to be with her.

But with Seokmin, his self control is not the best yet, so when he and Yujie were practising their singing, it just happened. When they were rehearsing the lyrics to a song, and Yujie was in her zone of focusing on what she had to sing, Seokmin just blurted it out and said, "我喜欢你." which just stopped Yujie from looking at the paper in front of her and snapped her head towards Seokmin. Seokmin repeated again, in Mandarin (Google Translate sponser). There was a moment of silence, and she said, "我不能." and left the room.

Ever since then, she had not talked to Seokmin comfortably like before.

RELATIONSHIP ) In beginning of Seokmin's budding feelings for Yujie, it caused some of the other male trainees to . Because let's be honest, when you have best friends who know that you like someone, yet doesn't admit it, is like playing a bit like Devil's advocate. But with Seokmin being the happy virus attitude he just went a long with it. Many trainees that watched the two, caused them to cringe at times, yet still cheer on Seokmin, like the boys they are.

Yet, when Seokmin got rejected by Yujie, the boys patted his back and cheered him up, but they still encouraged him, that if he still likes her than he should still go for it.

Which Seokmin did. Despite being rejected, he still tries to show his feelings towards Yujie. Because even if he falls down several times, he gets up eight times. Even more than that. He does the subtle things, like still help her with her proounciations and sees her struggling with her Korean. Seokmin would just like to know why he was rejected, that's all.

Yujie admits that she misses Seokmin's smile, but she knows why they can't be together. Because with Yujie's sedulous attitude, and both of them have the same dream to become a singer, she can't get distracted by him, and can't have Seokmin to ruin his dreams for her. She just imagined that if either one of them gets cut from the company because of their personal feelings, it will always be there if they do end up together they have to date with that memory of wasting their dreams on each other. It was only at intentions that she rejected his feelings. Yujie told Roy what happened, and he's happy and proud that Yujie did the responsible thing and rejected his feelings, because for wanting your wishes to come ture there has to sacrifices. Roy, told her in the first place that she shouldn't let her feelings interfere with business, it's only going to hurt both ways. That's why Yujie ignores, and pushes aside Seokmin, because she doesn't any feelings that she think she had for him to grow into something more real.

CONCLUSION ) I think during the show's progression Yujie has been learning that she really does need someone to lean onto. Because Yujie admits that she doesn't have much friends with most of the girls in the show. She can't talk to her friends and family all the time because she doesn't know how busy they are and what their schedule is like. Even if she writes how she's feeling in her little journal, she still wishes that she has a shoulder to lean on at times.

One time, when Yujie was practising by herself, Seokmin can see that Yujie was a bit stressed because (probably) Yujie has been having a hard time pronouncing and remebering the words of a song that she has to sing for an assignment for the show. Seokmin knows that Yujie is stressed and it's best to not approach her. But remembering that trainee life is stressful, he knows that it's best to have someone to comfort when you really need it, even if that person doesn't want it.

When entering Yujie in the practise room, with her in that state he was entering the Dragon's Den. Yujie told him to leave and that she's practising and doesn't want any distractions.

Seokmin: "Is that what I am to you? A distraction?"
Yujie:...
*Seokmin sits down beside her*
Seokmin: "Let's see what you have to do h-"
Yujie: "Please, leave. I don't want a distraction."
Seokmin: "Yujie, why am I distraction? What's the reason? If you tell me, I'll go right now."
*Yujie starts to shake her leg*
Seokmin: "Do you perhaps... like me too?"
*Yujie still doesn't say a word*
Seokmin: "It's okay for you to say that you don't. I'll still like you, even if it hurts.
*Seokmin looks away to try and stop the tears that are threatening to spur out*
Yujie: "Does liking someone suppose to hurt?"
*Seokmin looks back Yujie, hoping to say what he thinks she's saying.
Yujie: "I know that in life there's sacrifice for when you want something. Feelings is one of them. They distract you, even hurts at times, because...
Seokmin: "Because what?"
Yujie: "More than one person can get hurt."
*Seokmin looks at her sympathticly, and moves Yujie head on his shoulder and laid his head on hers*
Seokmin: "Two people can get hurt, but only to have each other lean on."
*Yujie looks up to Seokmin*
Yujie: "Can I always lean on you?"
Seokmin: "Even if your big head dislocates my shoulder."
*Yujie moves her head and smacks his shoulder*
Yujie: "MY HEAD ISN'T BIG!"
*Seokmin laughs at her cutness of her annoyed face*
Seokmin: "Okay, okay. But, you can always lean on me. Only if you accept my feelings.
Yujie: I accepted it for a while now..."
*Seokmin's  eyes bulges out of his sockets*
Seokmin: "AND YOU'RE ONLY TELLING ME THIS NOW?!"

FAMOUS LAST WORDS ) I hope that Yujie is up to your liking! I hope she didn't come across as too mary-sue-ish for your liking. I hope you can give me honest feedback on how I can improve her as well to give her some love!

SCENE SUGGESTIONS )
