Fan fictions are disgusting?

A little while ago I saw a video of a Youtuber saying that fan fictions are disgusting, to be very honest while I didn't get offended in the least, as a proud writer it did hurt quite a lot.

 
I respect everyone's opinions on fan fiction but someone making me feel like a freak or weirdo for writing about my most absolute favorite human on earth like Yamada Ryosuke, did push a couple of buttons on me.
 
For a moment it actually discouraged me and made me think twice about my stories, writing is my outlet and sadly I can only write with my bias as lead character, it's fun and stress relieving writing scenarios we sadly don't see our biases in dramas or movies. It's fun to create and express ourselves even if others see it as the oddest thing!
 
I spent as much time as I can writing chapters and investing my mind into my characters and plots, my ADD puts me up for a challenge every time and it's quite draining when you want to publish right on time. Seeing someone dismiss the time and effort writers put in their stories really fired me up and almost accomplished making me feel like I was wasting time.
 
Being in this community of incredible authors and amazing minds makes me feel at home and it's inspiring to see such brilliant minds and incredible readers. 
 
Don't ever feel less for doing what you love :)

Fck the haters, if idols cant stand fanfics theyre clearly not ready for being famous

Sigh. Everyone is free to make opinion, but I also think sometimes this freedom is abused by such rude and hurting opinion. I use to ignore such comments for I assume positively they must have reasons. I agree that it's indeed 'disgusting' to read a story in which my bias turned to be a horrible character like . Well, I don't dislike him casted as villain, just please not ual abuser. (I happened to read some plot like that, sadly).

However, since we can never please everyone, as long as we do our best to create meaningful stories, it's enough.

Let's keep doing our best, Mari-chan ~! :)

fanfics are not disgusting and i also appreciate every authors' efforts.
but i understand why someone hate fanfics. idols are REAL PERSON but i think SOME authors definitely do not take it into account when write their story. i mean, can some authors at least respect their idols and do not write them being by others or being ual abused by 'their crazy parents' or end up becoming a /??? these scenarios really turn me off = =
and of course, every one can write what they want, i just put my points here. and repeat again, i appreciate every authors' efforts.
