PERSONALITY:

''im hungry, can you give me some food?''; you can decribe chae yeong as childish. in her free times she would watch kid shows like pororo, one of her favourite cartoons. whenever she is taking the bath/shower she would sing kindergarden songs such as marry had a little lamb, twinkle twinkle little star, row row row your boat and more. the members of Corona got used to this so they ranked chae yeong as first from their group as the best kidergarden singer, this made chae yeong so happy that she even treated the group with icecream but ended up eating it all. in the weekends she always wants to go camping and other outgoing activities chae yeong would always volunteer to go to the grocery store if the group runs out of food. she has a bubbly personality full of energy to do anything fun and crack a funny joke, but unfortunately it comes out to make no sense, you know chae yeong is not that fluent in korean? sometimes she mixes english in a sentence this causes for her to get picked on in variety shows in a entertaining way. if anyone asks chae yeong to do a aegyo, at first she disagrees and secondly she says yes ''one plus one is gwiyomi, two plus two is gwiyomi........'' chae yeong is one of the best members at doing aegyos, you can call her the professional at aegyos. she is a very athletic person she even got first place at a running race when she was ten. if you have chae yeong in your team for a sports compition, you are very lucky.

no one is perfect  ; whenever the team has to change something she would be really stubborn not wanting to change any single slice chae yeong cant resist talking, what can she do? she loves to talk. if anyone tries to stop her from speaking, trust me it's exctremly hard, if only you want to take a risk to waste your time you would do so. during her trainee years, most of the time she would sneak out to buy some food, but she never got cought. after a year she stopped sneaking out, because she thought ''if i still sneak out wouldn't i get dropped out or something?'' chae yeong is always up to something, something mischief. once at primary school a girl bullied her queit often, bcause chae yeong was quite chubby back then. she got enough of it so chae yeong planned to get revenge. before class she sneaked into the classroom and hid the bullies notebook for about ten minutes, that made the bully  told of for not look aftering her notebook. lastly she sneaked in the notebook where she got it from. chae yeong revealed this to her group members and now they consider her as a machiavellian person.

                                         

BACKGROUND: 

''kyaaaaa... yoon chae yeong is delivered!'' ; Chae Yeong was born on december 3rd 2000 in a hospital at new york it was the happiest day for her parents when she was delivered. seven years later chae yeong's mother, yoon mei joo also gave birth to chae yeong's younger sister. when chae yeong first turned three she started to sing and show of her singing skills to her frends an family. not so long ago she figured out that she cant only sing she can dance to. turning the age of thirteen all she wanted to do was music but her father wouldn't let her, because he thinks it's a waste of time. she wanted to prove her father, yoon yoo do that she can dance and sing well.

''it's time to shine'' ;  the school talent show is approaching very soon, so chae yeong invited her father to prove she's good at music. at school chae yeong was a well known student who is popular. she is one of the smartest in her school and would always rank firt in in a exam. three weeks later, finally the day for the talent show arrived. all the other people finished performing and now it's time for chae yeong to shine, she came up the stage filled with crowds. she was nervous, but chae yeong knew she had to do this for the sake of proving her father wrong. she could hear her heart beating really fast, "baboom baboom...." she started to sing and dance. after she finished performing she could hear loud applouse's, even her dad was clapping. chae yeong finally proved her father wrong. her father sugested ''why not audition for a company?'' she agreed. a few months passed and chae yeong was ready to audition, she auditioned for sm online because she adores the company and their music. chae yeong and her family knew the company is not in their area but supported her anyway. chae yeong's parents and her waited for the reply from the sm ent staffs to see if chae yeong got accepted or not. a mail was delivered at her house. she read the letter it was written in the letter, crongratulation you have been accepted to join sm and the trainees etc. chae yeong and her family was so happy for her. she quickly packed her stuff to go and live her life at the training center. weeks later she arrived at the official sm building. it was huge and looked mordern. soon chae yeong's dream of becoming a singer is on track.

✩ Bugs // Daebak! She's terrified of bugs. Whenever a bug is on her or near her, she screams while running around. Chae Yeong doesn't care if this is embarassing, she'll do anything to get rid of the bug.

Sometimes Chae Yeong's father can be a cowerd toward Chae Yeong's mother making Chae Yeong stand up for her dad.

— Laughing buddy, Hyorin ☆ 24☆ idol in sister ☆ funny, wise, caring ☆ They first met each other at a cafe and took selcas, because Mei Ling was a  huge fan of Hyorin ☆  Often Hyorin buys food for Mei Ling as treat for no reason, just to make her happy i guess. Both of them make each other laugh by cracking funny jokes and more.

close friends, Minzy ☆ 21 ☆ ex member from 2ne1☆ hard working, smart, supportive ☆ Minzy and Chae Yeong first met each other when Chae Yeong went to a broad cast with other trainees from sm to see how it's like. After a few hours past all of the trainees got a chance to meet idols who was in the back stage and there Chae Yeong met her idol, Minzyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. ☆ Their relationship is just like an older sister and a younger sister, most of the time both of them ends up having a argument when ever they watch a movie disagreeing on who's going to end with whom but in the end chae yeong and minzy becomes friends again. Most of the time Minzy helps Chae Yeong improve in her dancing and singing abilities.

best friends, Yeri ☆ 17 ☆ Idol in red velvet ☆ bright, possitive thinking ☆ after Chae Yeong joined sm as a trainee Yeri was the first one to introduce herself to her. As time passed Yeri and Chae Yeong got closer and became best friends. ☆ They'd always cheer for each other and tell to keep on going and don't give up. Both of them would always hang about with each other in the dance rooms causing them to get told of by the dance instructer. Whenever one of them are feeling down the only solution to lighten up the mood is...... FOOD! Chae Yeong and Yeri promised that they'd always support each other when they debut.

Group member, Min-u ☆ 20 ☆ Idol in Corona ☆ funny, easy going, blunt☆ They both met each other when they was a trainee. Min-u and Chae Yeong had to partner up for a song to sing in the monthly evaluation ☆ Both of them started to become closer while practicing the song. They would make each other laugh and would share what updates have been going on in their lives. Chae Yeong is most comfortable around Min-u then the other members in Corona. She shares most of her monthly favourite snacks with Min-u.
