Appearance— She naturally has dark brown hair but usually dyes it a more auburn color. Her slightly sharp jawline and pale skin came from her father while her pouty lips and cat-like eyes came from her mother. But with her height, everyone questions how she's so short when her dad is 6'2 and her mom is 5'6. Right in the middle of her back is a lotus tattoo which she got as a reminder to always push herself to grow and not let anything hold her back from achieving what she wants. She has three piercings on each ear as well as a belly piercing she got on her 18th birthday. Eunjae can never go out unless she at least has some BB cream and mascara or eyeliner and a natural lip tint on.

Eunjae is a very carefree spirit and tends to voice out her opinions without thinking. Ever since she was young, she always had this bright personality to her that immediately drew people's attention towards her. She tends to be a blabber mouth and doesn't hesitate to give her input on things. This can also be a bad side to her because she hates it when someone tries to beat around the bush with her. She will be truthful and upfront with peeople if she needs to be whether she'd be talking to someone she's close with or someone she's just casually talking to. Sometimes she doesn't know her limits or when to stop talking when she's hurt someone. While growing up, her opinions and comebacks became wittier and sarcastic. Background

Eunjae was born and raised in Los Angeles, California for most of her childhood. Her dad was a well-known chef in Koreatown while her mother worked alongside her husband as its manager. Her family life was pretty average. She got along pretty well with her parents and helped out at the restaurant when she was big enough to handle tasks like wiping down the tables or help preprare the ingredients. They were the power duo that she looks up to because they still looked like two teenagers falling in love with each other. Her parents made sure that she never strayed away from her culture and made it mandatory for her to speak Korean whenever she's at home or doing her homework at the restaurant.

At the age of eleven, her and her family had to move back to her dad's hometown in Korea because of her grandmother falling ill. Since her mother was an only child, they had to take care of her. That was when she met her best friend who also happened to be her next door neighbor. The two easily got along and Eunjae found out that she was a dancer, more specifically a break dancer. Eunjae still didn't know what she was good at but always supported her best friend by going to all her competitions and shows. She had tried to become a dancer and she was alright, but didn't think it really suited her.

Eunjae fell in love with rap when she went to her best friend's biggest competition of the season. It was held in an underground studio where the best of the best in the underground community came to compete. The rap battles were usually held first and then the dance battles finished up the night. They were twelve at that time and since she didn't want to be a distraction while she was practicing, Eunjae decided to watch the rap battles and they were the best thing she's ever seen. The way that they were able to freestyle to the beats that the DJ spinned the music, it was breathtaking to her. Their flow and rhythm got her unconsciously bobbing her head to the beat and the disses that they sent at each other entertained her. She always had thing for hip-hop music since it constantly played on the radio back in the States, but she never realized how raw the talent behind the artists were until those very moments. Eunjae began to attend the weekly battles on her own to get a feel of what it was like and began to dabble into writing her own lyrics. Her best friend helped her out and often introduced her to the people she knew in the underground community that would help her out as well.

After constantly improving and battling, Eunjae finally made a name for herself at the age of sixteen. She had been composing, writing, and rapping for about four years and was known as Aegi Jae for being one of the top rappers around her age. Her parents were pretty supportive after she came out to them about becoming a rapper. Later that year, her best friend had the crazy idea of auditioning for a company because they constantly talked about being able to perform in front of big stages. The two decided that they were going to audition for Big Hit Entertainment. Both had passed the rounds but her best friend had to drop being a trainee after the first year. Eunjae made a promise to her best friend that she'll make sure to debut and live the dream for the both of them.

First Meeting— First met when they were trainees and they had often bumped into each other after staying so late in the company. They helped each other from time to time.

Interactions— They are each other's support systems. When his temper gets riled up or he's really stressed, she knows how to calm him. When she gets too reckless with everything and tends to forget about herself, he's the one to put her in check. Eunjae likes to think of him as her big teddy bear and loves to cuddle with him even though he can get on her nerves most of the time, When he's with her, his dorky personality tends to come out and he's very caring towards her. They know that they can be their own selves around each other other and there's just something about the way they click that makes him want to be the perfect gentleman for her. Eunjae was surprised at how sensitive and softhearted he can get because of his charismatic image he has on stage, but she just finds him more attractive than he already is. Trainee Life— Trainee life was the biggest challenge she had to face. At first, she felt confident in herself since Nari was right by her side during their first year of training. There were high hopes for these girls because their hunger to perform on stage as quickly as possible were evident in their evaluations. Nari was the stronger trainee between the two because she knew how to adapt easily. But for Eunjae, she struggled quite a bit. Her dancing needed a lot of improvement and she needed to learn how to properly hold her notes while singing. Rapping was her strong point, but there was still so much that she had to learn and improve on. She often got the most critiques, but was known for really taking them into thought and imrpoved a lot. She developed a love for composing during the beginning of her second year of training. Her coaches had recommended her to give it a try besides just writing lyrics all the time. When she was active in the underground scene, she had often dabbled into composing, but Eunjae never thought that she'd have the confidence on producing something good. Now that there was the proper equipment that she needed, Eunjae was able to further enhance her skills and loved the way that she was able to create her own music. She found it as a way to emotionally connect with people and share her story with others. Eunjae learned how to play the piano in order to help herself with composition and writing music. She endlessly studied about music scores, notes, etc as well.

After Nari left due to her family's financial status, Eunjae was left with only Hoseok and Namjoon by her side. But they soon became busier as they were picked to become members of a boy group that the company was planning on debuting. She was soon left alone and the boys tried to stay in contact with her, but she always convinced them that she was fine because Eunjae didn't want to bother them when they were so close to their dreams. She was left vulnerable at times because when others had a couple of close friends to lean on, she closed herself off after Nari leaving and vowed to herself that she would drown herself in training in order to debut as soon as possible. There are times where she'd question herself if it was still worth it after hearing the news of Nari becoming a choreographer in order to still live her dream. But as she looked back at how far she's come, Eunjae knew that all her blood, sweat, and tears would have been useless if she gave up. That period of time in her trainee life helped her reach out for the emotions she had trouble expressing through her rap and compositions. She had often been criticized about only touching the surface and there was no depth. After pouring her heart out into her works of music, it was then that she received high praise for her talent in rapping and composing.

Scandals—

— [Pre-Debut] Got into a scandal with Yoseob after Dispatch caught a couple photos of them walking to her family's apartment together. The scandal was later cleared by CUBE saying that she was Junhyung's relative who is close to the members and was hanging out with Junhyung and the group. Since Junhyung had gotten called into work urgently, Yoseob offered to take her home.
