► She is born with black thing wavy hair. Right now, her hair ends on her waist and the color is dark brown. Her brown eye compliments her big eyes and petite nose. Her height is 160 cm and her weight is 45 kg. Weight is already good for a girl group member, however 160 cm is probably categorised as short in Korean. However, Nahee likes her height since it makes her looks small. She has a pair of earrings and a white tattoo on her inner left wrist.

► Carelessly good : Ian is sometimes careless about her clothings. She likes to wear casual shirt (anything that is comfortable and not sleeveless/crop tee) and matches it with skinny jeans or shorts (and rarely-but-still-has-a-chance skirts). For shoes, she often wears shoes those do not show her toes, sometimes Wakaii and the other time is sneakers. She rarely wears accessories if she is not on stage. She only puts on watch and often, choker. For bags, she is between cute backpack and shoulder bag.
► Airport fashion : she does not want to disappoint her fans and reporters who have been waiting for her arrivals from the morning so she tries her best to dress up. Most of the time, Ian wears something that she rarely uses - skirts, jackets, many accessories, clutch. Of course there will be some times when Ian still wears her 'carelessly good' style, however, she still has the heart to put more effort into it like wearing more accessories, better shoes, better bags, and does her hair too.
Conclusion : she does not really care about clothing - as long as she looks good in it, she is okay to go.

► Selfless : There are times where Ian chooses to make the others happy first which results in Ian being not happy. The worst is Ian often can not refuse a request from someone that she knows well. For example, if her member wanted to borrow a good amount of money and Ian had, of course she would give it as much as she could - she would not give it if she did not have the sum of the money. She would sing a song that she was not really good at in the monthly evaluation if that made the other shines. She thinks, as long as there are more people those are happy than the disappointed ones, she is okay being the disappointed one.
► Leadership (+ not biased) : If the group does not have any schedule at that day, Ian will bring the members to practice. As a leader, she is quite charismatic but not bossy, diligent. The members listen to her well and she listens to the members well too. She always tries to take the middle way when there is a clash. She brings the members together too and acts as peacemaker if there is a fight.
► Emphathic : The members will probably like to tell their problem to Ian. She might not really the best in giving solutions, but since Ian can emphath really well, if the members only want to tell how hard their days are, Ian can give them a couple of warm words.
► Hardworking : Which trainee is not insecure when they do not debut in more than five years of training? If someone did not debut after a long time, they would automatically think that they were not good enough. Then, there were two choices - to give up or to work harder? Ian (and every other trainees those managed to get their debut) chose working harder. She learnt many things while she was a trainee : composing, directing, dancing, rapping, singing; however the one thing that she is really good at and bring her to her debut is only her singing. She was told that she was good at many aspects, but she does not and can not master it as well as the others.
► Pessimist : Being pessimistic is actually Ian's way to not get high expectations. She always tells herself that she is not as good as the others and still needs to learn more. When the result is out and she comes out as the best, she will just say that she's just lucky (gosh, just listen to a capable person saying "oh, I'm just lucky" - it's very hateful, right?). Being pessimist for not having expectations later becomes her negative trait. It is great that the pessimist trait is neutralise with hardwork. For example, she believed that she wouldl not join the next girl group project, she then worked her off.
► Shy : Because Ian is pessimist, she becomes shy when she is placed in new environment. She mingles well, but at first, she will have a hard time to speak a word. She will become submissive, which is not so her when she leads her team. She becomes very careful in her choice of words (because she is scared that she will leave first bad impression) and just watches the environment for some times.

► Ian before being a trainee was someone that was careless about life. Her family was above average but she was not that rich. The money that her parents earns was enough for her to get what she wanted (clothes, food, but not too fancy like branded things). She was scared of nothing and just enjoyed her life the fullest. She had never once dreamed about being a singer, but people around her had told her that she had a nice voice. In addition, she was cute when she danced (like Xiumin doing his penguin dance...)
► She entered S.M. Entertainment when she was 14 years old through street casting. She was going to go home after school was dismissed and then a staff from SME approached her. The little girl was scared and of course, shouted as loud as she could, just like what her parents taught her if a stranger approached her. The parents of the other kids approached the stranger and talked to her. Later, the parents convinced Ian that the stranger was a staff from a big entertainment company. Ian still did not believe the stranger and ran away. Little Ian told her parents about this event and she was brought to SME building to join an audition for real.
► She was still new at that time and everytime there was a monthly evaluation, Ian could not really share her idea or show her ability that much. Years passed and Ian started to be able to make a team for evaluations with her as the leader. At first, she was a bad leader where she dictated and did not really listen to her members. She just made a performance which bring the best out of her but not the others. She got a great indiviual review, but she was criticised because her group had the worst synergy.Of course, Ian could not afford being kicked out from the company because of trivial things like that, so she thought that she should not be like that and changed. She watched many idol groups and noticed that the leader rarely gets the spotligh - that is how Ian learnt. Afterward, she vowed that the group that she leads would bring the best synergy, not individualistic because after all, it is called idol 'group' not for nothing.

Father likes whatever Ian likes. He did not really like the idea of Ian being an idol trainee at first, but when he asked whether Ian liked it or not, being a trainee, she answered with a big smile and cheerful 'yes'. "Then do not regret it and keep running to it. Don't stop, no matter what because once you stop, I won't let you be a trainee anymore," he said which made Ian never once have the thought to give up her trainee life. And that was how Seungwon supports his one and only daughter.

Ian always envies her friends who have talkative mother. They can have girls times with her mother, talks about trivial things which can only be shared between girls. Ian does not feel great to have a quiet mother. However, when Ian got bad grades, the girl was grateful that her mother did not nag her. "It is okay to get bad score for once, all you can do next is just work even harder and get better score to cover up the previous score," her mother said, which made Ian worked even harder when she thought she was not getting anywhere while training.

He is a friend that Ian thankful to the most. Since Johnny practically a living fossil that lives in SME dungeon just like Ian, the boy always reassured Ian that she would debut some other time when the girl felt insecure. "Watching many people walk in and out from the company is already a proof that we survived in the jungle " he said when Ian felt like she did not make any progress.

"I am of course very grateful to be able to debut in such a big group. "Honestly, I want to trust SM that our group will be successful. I have worked hard for this and the other members too, so it will be natural for us for wanting a success. However, luck has its own game so it is hard to be predicted. You can come from big company and then face a big fail just because you're not lucky with timing. Just like a good actor needs to meet a good director and good script, singers need to meet good song too. In conclusion, we really hope to be successful."

"Rather than thinking those groups as a rival, I think of them as baits. Baits for me to do better. Besides, every group has its own color and so is D.ROYALS so I do not really think any group is our rival."
