BACKGROUND : Xu Lijuan was born on March 19 of 1999 in Beijing, China to a Korean father and a Chinese mother. Lijuan was an only child so she got all the attention from her parents, and that included all their pressures and standards. Despite that, Lijuan was always smiling. She loved going out and making new friends, and she had more opportunities to do that when her mother put her in Ballet and Gymnastics at the at the of 4. Doing both was no problem because Lijuan looked forward to those things. She absolutely loved going to Ballet and gymnastics, she had friends there. As she grew up, her father added Taekwondo to her plate when she was 6. She didn't mind that either because it was quite easy. Among all that, her parents pressured her to do well in school. She went to an international school so she was learning Chinese and English at school, and Korean at home. She was expected to have all A's so she maintained all A's while doing Taekwondo, Ballet, and Gymnastics. Some people say she was amazing, she just says she'd die if she didn't. {Lijuan always liked music. Music is what helped her get through the day. She even learned how to play the Pipa, mostly because her mother wanted her to play a traditional instrument, but she still wanted to learn it.}
As she grew older, her cousin had introduced her into Kpop and she fell in love.
