Wanna start up a support group in the next 3 years...

Was doing a timeline as an English coursework and all of a sudden I had this idea... I wanna start up a depression support group for young children at the ages of 7-13. I don't know if it's ever gonna work out... my mom is unsupportive of this idea. She was like: "You can't even handle kids screaming, so how can you even do things like this?"

The only reason I came out with this idea, is because I'm a victim and survivor of depression. It all started when I was 8 years old when I got bullied by my own classmates. I sought counselling but the 'counsellor' is really inexperienced. She wasn't even paying any attention to what I said and acted. Worse, she just told me to 'get over it' and 'ignore'. Counselling got better when I started studying in an international school. The teacher is qualified in psychotherapy so I'm not that worried about inexperienced people being 'counsellors'.

Another reason is because, some children aren't willing to speak out to the teachers or their parents because of their fear of being not trusted/dismissed or maybe will get bullied even more because they spoke out.

I really don't wish the young ones to suffer like I did when I was younger... so I really hope I could help them out as I experienced it firsthand. It's not a good feeling to be ignored and told to 'get over it' and no action taken by the authorities to solve the problems.
