appearance /
► Syeira is a beautiful girl, standing at 160 cm and weighting in at 48 kg. Her skin is a light olive tone, and her hair light brown. Her eyes are hazel in the sun light, but turn deep green at night. Her eyelashes are naturally long, and as a gypsy she didn't really care what her hands looked like, and so she would bite her nails often. Her toe nails she didn't worry too much about, but filled then down if they did start getting a little too long. Her teeth she always tried to take good care of though. Her lips are actually a peachy pink colour and she has many scars on her back...very many.
fashion sense /
► When it came to clothes, as a Gypsy she was very used to wearing raggedy renaissance dresses, since her band of Gypsies were by no means wealthy. When it wasn't a dress, she would wear a two piece, long skirts with layers of fabric, and tops that fit over her corset. Her hair was usually just down nice and simple, but occasionally, and mainly with customers, she would have her hair in many braids with feathers and beads weaved in, she would also wear bandanas. While seeing costumers she would also wear bead bracelets. When it comes to foot wear she usually goes bare foot, because she is used to it, but on rockier trails or during the winter, she'll either use fur boots or sandals. Another thing she would wear commonly while with customers, is a veil. It was translucent, however it did add a little mystery.
When she was presented before the King, she wore light blue velvet robes and a lovely head dress with Pearl looking beads coming off the sides which they had picked up on their journeys through Russia. After coming into the possession of Prince Baekhyun, she began dressing in hanboks more often, and would of course wear the requested foot wear when she absolutely needed to...but when no one was aware of it she would go bare foot. Of course once someone found out she was forced to wear shoes again. Hair wise, she commonly went with Kwimit meori.

► When it comes to Syeira, she makes do with what she's got, and always makes it work. Being a gypsy and living a life of uncertainty made Syeira very resourceful, always coming up with ideas to spice up the show or keep officers/guards from catching her while relieving costumers of their money and jewelry. She knows how to efficiently attract eager costumers and find her way out of a bad situation. It was what she was groomed to do. She is very good at problem solving thanks to these traits which goes right into her uncanny strategic thinking.
As a gypsy her goals mainly consisted of earning money and having fun, however there is a lot more thought put into it then you would think. Syeira along with the rest of her family, live poor lives, so they had no other choice but to think ahead and plan out their business methods. Because gypsies don't have the greatest reputation, they needed to come up with ways to draw people in.
She is defiantly strong-willed, considering almost her entire life was built on what is commonly considered "no-nos". She is the kind of person to do as she pleases, which is also why she doesn't always wear shoes in the palace. Even though many people had made it more then clear she needed to wear shoes, and when she was caught would force them on her feet if need be, still Syeira insists upon doing otherwise. It has to do with her unwillingness to give up when the going gets tough – she strive to achieve her goals, but really nothing is quite as satisfying to her as rising to the challenge of each obstacle in her life.
Syeira was raised to have charisma, that way she can smooth talk, but this combined with her way of naturally inspiring people is how she really shows her worth. Had they not become slaves, Marko was actually considering her taking over for him as the leader of the Loveridge Clan. She had the essence of a true leader, which also probably comes from her birth father. She would make a good match for a king *wink*. Her feisty and energetic personality is also which gets people ready to challenge knew ideas, it is like her essence of energy rubs off onto the ones around her.
Sometimes all this confidence and willpower can go too far, and Syeira is all too capable of refusing to alter her course of action or opinions to win every single debate and pushing her ideas, and hers alone. Her stubborn nature is what got her on Balázs' bad side to begin with, and it was a fatal point when it came to Baekhyun's mother. She is also very opinionated, since she never grew up to learn how to keep her opinions in check even if she disagreed with something. She did know how to keep shut before things got too far, but it didn't change her opinions.
You could say Syeira is notorious for being unsupportive of any idea that distracts from her primary goals (such as lack of customers or ones that won't pay high enough), and even more so of ideas based on emotional considerations (thinking off emotion instead of strategically, which is what got her parents' son killed in the first place, and ultimately why she was raised to think like that). She won't hesitate a second to make that fact clear to those around them, however if can make her come off rather arrogant, even though she doesn't necessarily try to be. She can't help it though, she respects quick thoughts and firm convictions, something similar to her own qualities.
All this aggressive talk has no effect, alongside the assumed supremacy of rationalism, tends to makes Syeira distant from her own emotional expression and sometimes downright scornful of others'. Unmeaningly of course, this often causes her to trample others' feelings, inadvertently hurting those close to her, especially in emotionally charged situations. Her obsession with efficiency and unwavering belief in the merits of rationalism, especially professionally, makes Syeira incredibly insensitive in pursuing her goals (I mean come on, before she could talk she was taught how to steal), dismissing personal circumstances, sensitivities, and preferences as irrational and irrelevant.

background /
► When Princess Adélaïde was a mere thirteen months old, her father King Emmanual of France, had put in place a law that incited the execution of all gypsies guilty of pick pocketing and robbing customers. It was originally imprisonment, but because that didn't work and things were actually getting worse, the King had no choice. At first the gypsy population of France didn't take it seriously, but when many of their kind then began to be arrested, and in fact faced with the penalty of death, their outlook on the law began to change.
The Loveridge Clan were a smaller band of gypsies, but as a family quiet large. They had about twenty all together, and were all related, one way or another. They had great acts, such as fire eaters, puppet shows, belly dancers, magic acts, and fortune tellers. They loved living the lives of street performers, and the knowledge that their people were really being persecuted for (what was something silly and not seen as much of a big deal in their eyes) these "crimes", took things very seriously.
They would simply make their fortune off of their performances tickets, and then hope the extra tips would be generous. Marko Loveridge, the leader of their clan after his father passed on, made sure everyone knew what a big deal if was, and that they didn't want to risk getting anyone in trouble or...well...beheaded. Unfortunately for Marko, of all the members of their clan, the one that didn't take this at face value like he probably should have; was Marko's own son Leonardo Loveridge.
Since they were in Paris, the Loveridge Clan decided to put on their performances and they drew in big crowds. Because there was so many people, it would be hard to notice a pickpocket, because everyone was so close, it would be hard to tell if your neighbour had knifed the bottom of your coin pouch and let the gold and silver fall into their own pockets. This was something Leonardo learnt when he was much younger, and by now had mastered it. This exact trick, was his tactic of the day. He was only sixteen, so even if he believed he had thought it all through, he really hadn't. All Leo wanted was to help out his family. He hadn't pondered the repercussions of his actions, he didn't take heed to his father's warning. He couldn't possibly have envisioned what would happen to him, so he couldn't have possibly noticed the little girl standing near by, or how she would look over just in time to see him commit the deed.
Well, as fate would have it she did see him do it, and because she was too small to realize she was dooming him to the axe, she pulled at her father's sleeve and pointed to Leo. She said "Papa! Why is that boy taking that man's money?" Right away her father look to where she was pointing, and even though Leonardo had a enough time hide the evidence and step a bit farther back, the speculation was still set in place. It was all incoherent to him after that, but he knew what was being said. "That Gypsy boy is a thief! A thief! Someone find a guard! He broke the law I tell you!", and with those words people in the crowd turned away from the puppet show, send looked suspiciously at the bewildered sixteen year old. Some looked like they pitied him, others looked like they despised him, and some even went to look for patrolling guards.
As luck would have it, they did find a patrol group of four, and they were summed right away. The Loveridge family were insisting it couldn't be true, bagging everyone to think again, but it only made them all look more suspicious. They were all brought into the middle of the square and searched, but they couldn't find anything on any of them...until they searched Leo. He hadn't robbed the one man, he was secretly relieving consumers to his mother's fortune telling tent of their broaches and other expressive items. So despite his parents multiple protests, and the insisting he was merely a boy and let it slide, but they couldn't let it slide. If it would have been the one man then they could have returned the money, gave him a strict warning, and have one of his female cousins spend the night with the guard for guarantee he wouldn't change his mind.
There was too much evidence come from other offences, they couldn't just let this one go. The rest of the Loveridge Clan had to hold back his mother Miselda as the guards bound Leo's hands and began to drag him toward the castle where he would be spending the night in the dungeons. Obviously world of his execution spread fast around the castle and its surrounding villages. Because there wasn't much entertainment to enjoy during this period, executions were the substitute for it, so there was a great turn out. Among the crowd was also his mother and father at the front, and some of his aunts and uncles. From a balcony over looking main courtyard, was the King Emmanual accompanied by his wife the Queen and their baby daughter Adélaïde swaddled in bright pink fabric, and held lovingly in her mother's arms.
King Emmanual took the time to give a good long speech about the importance of these crimes, and how since the gypsy people would not yield to imprisonment, as a king he needed to look out for his people even if that meant the execution of those guilty of these crimes. By the end of his speech, right as him and the Queen began to exit the balcony retreating back into their castle, the screens on Miselda echoed around the courtyard. "That's my son your going to kill! That's my baby you monster!" Guards automatically came at her, but the king yelled for them to stop and let her be. "How would you feel if you couldn't ever see your daughter again?" Was the last thing she screamed at him before him and his wife really did leave.
She then turned to her son who was kneeling before the block of wood stained with blood, his eyes poring with tears, as he looked right back at his mother. She called for him to know she loved him, and he did the same, he even told his father he was sorry for disobeying him. Then the executioner wrapped a perfect white cloth around Leonardo's eyes so he couldn't see, and pushed his down light so it rested on the wood. Marko held back his wife who tried to run for her son, wrapping his arms around her to keep her back against his chest. Marko then turned his own back toward the executioner and his son, that way neither of them had to look upon it when the axe fell, causing blood to stain the perfect white cloth. When it did fall, the sound rung loud around the courtyard, and so followed the blood curtailing scream of his mother.
That night their camp was silent as they sat around the fire to eat. Marko tried to reassure everyone that no matter what they would need to be strong, because Leo would want them to be. His daughter Gildí leaned her head against her father's shoulder and he leaded his head against her's. "What if..." Miselda spoke up, which was a shock gaining everyone's attention since she had been staring blankly into the fire for the last half hour. What they didn't know was that half hour was spent replaying those events in her head from the courtyard over and over, and eventually she got stuck on the words she last said to the king, "How would you feel if you couldn't ever see your daughter again?" Well she had a feeling she would make him find the answer to that question. Then she had contemplated the plan, the plan she had to kidnap the princess.
"What if...what if we could do more then just portend to be strong? What if we could get revenge?" Everyone exchanged looked of confusion, but she stood up and offered her idea again. "What if we could take his daughter away from him like he did Leo from us? But not kill her, no...that would be too kind. We'll raise her to be one of us, so that if he ever finds her again she won't recognize his face, and she will not be a princess, but a gypsy like us. One of our people, the people the prosecuted on!" Though Marko was against the idea to begin with, since the rest of the clan was up for it, he had no other choice. He was the clan leader, and so he knew he had to seem on board or else they would question his leadership and they needed a strong leader during a hard time like they were in.
So, the planning had begun. They organized a fake performance in the courtyard of the castle some weeks later, and as most of the guards and servants and other people (those stationed in the courtyard) there were mesmerized by the dancing girls and fire eating men and the people swallowing swords, Miselda and Marko were sneaking into the castle (by scaling the walls of the castle), and scooping the sleeping princess out of her crib as her mother herself took a nap. The guards were stationed out side her door, so Miselda has to be carful not to wake the princess or the queen so the guards wouldn't be called. She was lucky the queen's personal servants were out preparing for when the queen awoke instead of attending it her room. As carefully as she could, Miselda put the baby in a wrap that went around her body, to keep the baby safe as she scaled down the castle walls. Marko had taken care of the patrolling guards (by sneaking up behind them and knocking them out since he was hesitant and didn't want to have to kill anyone) near their exit, and once they were out of the castle Miselda mounted a waiting horse and made her way back to camp, while Marko got the rest of the clan out of the courtyard. When they got back it was late eventing, and the moment they met withMiselda at the camp they could hear the distant bells of the castle signifying the discovery of the missing infant. They had backed up all their stuff the night before, so their escape would be fast. They left France, and didn't stop till they were in Hungary, where they were certain the King wouldn't find them.
They Miselda decided to rename the baby Syeira. "Meaning princess?" Asked Marko. "It has an ironic meaning no?" She smirked, feeling like she had accomplished her goal. So there, in Budapest Hungary, did little Syeira Loveridge grow up. She was a feisty and excitable girl, but also much of a trickster, learning well from her "parents". Also since she was raised by Gypsies she was a rather intelligent girl, since they were an intelligent people. She learnt how to read and write and she was also good a t math (cuz counting money and what not) however they were main,y teaching her servival skills over political ones. She wasn't raised like a princess would be, and therefore did not have the grace and tight tongue like a princess would. She had a loose tongue, and was not very ladylike.
In Hungary they didn't have a death penalty for gypsies and you would only be thrown in prison if you were caught. They were a lot more careful about what they relieved their customers of, and only took a little, to make sure they were too dumb to notice. Gildí had taught Syeira how to bellydance, and her mother taught her the secrets to palm reading and using tarot cards. Her father was the light of her life though, he always called her "Princess" and did whatever he could to make her happy. He treasured her really. It could possibly because of his knowledge of her royal birth, and then it could be because he really had grown to love her like his own daughter, but somehow keeping her happy and safe was his main priority.
They were putting on a performance in a market place, and were wowing the people. Her sister was gorgeous as she dances, mesmerizing the men, and Miselda let Syeira observe her as she did her readings with her customers. Everything was going well till one of the younger boys was caught stealing wallets by a officer, and then the performance was canceled and everyone was searched. It was found they were all stealing, and Miselda and Marko got extreme déjà Vu however they knew they wouldn't be killed since it wasn't the law, but they knew they were in for somethings potentially worse. They were considered thieves and thrown into a jail, before being sold into slavery.
As luck would have it, Syeira and most of her family were brought out at the same time to be inspected by potential buyers and one man, Balázs Csizmadia, was quiet interested in the Loveridge gypsies. When it came to the bidding, he bet on everyone of them, and at high prices. No one else was able to match his prices. When Marko Loveridge asked Balázs as to why he bought all of them, he explained his situation. He was working for the king of Hungary and was planning on a long trading journey toward the east. Going through Russia, and then into Asia. He knew gypsies were a persuasive bunch, being smooth talkers and good at making people pay the higher price. He wanted slaves like that to work for him, since it would help with the mission he had.
Then their new life began. They were actually living quiet similarly to how they had been before, but of course their new Master had more luxurious conditions. Syeira secretly didn't mind being his slave, since he seemed decent enough, and they loved better then how she assumed other slaves were treated. Plus they were traveling the world, and she was fifteen at the time, so it took her a while before she realized that whenever Balázs would ask to speak with Gildí privately in his caravan, he was actually forcing her to sleep with him. After she realized when he was doing to her precious older sister Syeira became disgusted. She wouldn't listen to him like she used to, and though everyone else was well behaved, she made trouble. As a punishment for her rebellious acts, Balázs would have one of the others tie her bound hands to a wooden pole, and the other rip open the back of her dresses and shirts, to expose her . Then Balázs himself would proceed to whip her. She never really learnt her lesson, no mater how much it hurt.
Still, she enjoyed Russia quiet a lot, and Mongolia was very beautiful. Her time spent there were some of her favourite memories. There was on memory however that forever would haunt her afterward. They were camping for the night, but Syeira was having trouble sleeping, but her parents though she like her sister really was asleep, therefore they didn't see any problem with talking. They began talking about how Syeira, a princess by birth was now a slave. They then began talking a bout what happened in the passed, and Miselda comments on how if they hadn't taken Syeira from the king, then they wouldn't be slaves. Marko get aggravated and tells her it was her idea of kidnap the princess, and that it was her that suggested they even travel to Hungary. He had suggested Germany. Syeira had kept quiet, pretending she was still sleeping, but I fact she was awake and knew everything..all of it, all of it. The truth about who she was coming from her parents mouths...or, her pretend parents.
Eventually they came to enter China, and it was a noticeably different culture then what she had experienced before. She thought the women look gorgeous, and she loved Beijing, however when they caught wind of the prosperous kingdom of Eudaimonia. They go there right away, but are stopped only half a day's journey into the kingdom by a patrolling group of guards (or Knights, whatever works). They say that Balázs trespassed into the kingdom without authorization (sorta like allegations immigration or they just might seem suspicious so they stopped them, what ever fits better for the plot and how things work in Eudaimonia). Balázs explains he is a royal merchant sent by the King of Hungary in order to do business, and would like to formally give his apologies and even gifts to the Royal Family, requesting an audience before the King (he wouldn't be known the king was sick).
Eventually the guards agree to them to the palace and send word of their request (though if it was denied they had to leave). The King couldn't take their audience, so instead the 12 princes except Balázs' offer, and welcomes him and his servants before them the Queen Dowager, the Queen, (maybe the Kings consorts and concubines I don't know if that would be costumery). Balázs and his servants all bow before them, but as he stands to talk before the Royal Family, all his servants are kneeling with their heads down. All the women were dressed similar to Syeira, but most of them in darker colours. Balázs offers the princes jewels he received from his meetings with the Tsar of Russia, and rare Mongolian furs he traded for. The princes agree it was a generous gift, and he is rewarded with silk and a nights lodging before he is on his way to continue his business. However, Balázs is an intelligent man and won't stop there.
He tells them he cannot except the silk and their gracious offer to stay the night at the palace, if he can not give them one last gift. He said he would gift the eldest prince with "one of his girls" referring to his female slaves. Syeira was confused at who it would be. Her mother was too old for her to be called a girl, and it couldn't be her sister since Balázs enjoyed her company too much. It couldn't possibly be her cousin since she was pregnant, and the other girls, well, even if she wouldn't say it out loud, she didn't believe they would meet Balázs' beauty standards for a gift to a prince. So, just as she was arriving to the only other possible answer to who it was, her master had his hand extended to her as he said her name.
Syeira gulped as her sister and mother gasped. Marko was help down by Miselda so he wouldn't make a scene, and Syeira took hold of Balázs' hand. She was shaking so hard, so hard that the beads on her head dress could just be noticed to be shaking. She bowed again before the princes, but she couldn't help thinking of her sister and Balázs and how she didn't want her ity to be taken by some man she didn't know. Minseok said that it was a generous offer which he would personally decline (for whatever reason, you decide, maybe something to do with a different plotline/love interest of his), but he would instead give Syeira to his brother Baekhyun, since it was his birthday.

Minseok said that it was a generous offer which he would personally decline (for whatever reason, you decide, maybe something to do with a different plotline/love interest of his), but he would instead give Syeira to his brother Baekhyun, since it was his birthday.
relationships /
► Birth Father : King Emmanuel of The Royal House of Carré - Eric Bana // 51 // She never knew him, but he is a very loving and caring man, who loves his children (he has two sons, but ever yearns for his daughter) and would have loved and took care of his daughter had she not been taken from him.
► Father : Marko Loveridge - Mark Lewis // 56 // He loves Syeira with so much of his heart. He looks at her and sees only the best in her, and has only ever wanted to make her happy and feel like she were worth the world, since as a princess she would have been treat as so and well, she is his princess either way.
► Mother : Miselda Loveridge - Noomi Rapace // 48 // They had a somewhat uneven relationship, considering her mother kidnapped her, of course Syeira doesn't known this. Miselda looks at her daughter, and does love her, but not as much as Marko does. There is still a sense of hatred for her family since her real father had her son killed.
► Older Sister : Gildí Loveridge - Natalie Portman // 30 // She is an amazing big sister and Syeira's bestfriend. They talk about their emotions and feelings together, even though that is something Syeira rarely does with anyone. Gildí taught Syeira how to bellydance and they have the most fun when they dance together.
► Master : Balázs Csizmadia - John Malkovich // 57 // She hates him for the gross and disgusting way he treats her sister, and he doesn't have much fondness for Syeira either. However, he does recognize the beauty in her, so found giving her to the King was an effective way to get her out of his hair (or that's left of it XD).
► New Master's Mother : Concubine Byun - Kim Min Seo (Drama Hwajung) // 40 // She is Syeira's new master Prince Baekhyun's mother, and what a lot of Syeira's hatred is veered toward. When she and Baekhyun open up to one another and Sheira learns of how much stress she puts Baekhyun under, on top of all the things Syeira has already come to hate about her(the way she lies and bends the truth in a cruel way and resembles Balázs in the worst of ways) it doesn't help she also pockets her head in the way trying to keep Baekhuun from falling for Syeira. Or at least from being able to be with her.
► Best Friend : Chan Xinyi - WJSN Xuanyi // 20 // They are quiet similar, seeing as both of them doesn't really fit the image of being a servant. They act one way around their superiors but in the end they are free spirited and they are able to show their more natural sides with each other. Both of them being foreigners from Eudaimonia was also what helped make them closer, since Xinyi was able to help Syiera get over the original shock of it all, you know, being sold to a prince. Not to mention the fact they are able to have some serious girl talk I mean of all people these two could fall in love with they both had to be princes. They can relate and understand each other on many levels which makes their relationship stronger and more meaningful.

Inner demons /
► Syeira, when you really think about it, isn't the type of person you would want to rub the wrong way. She was raised to be a trickster and a thief, and a particularly intelligent one. She was also raised to read people, so if she senses someone's negative motives toward her, she'll distance herself right away. However, if you do make the idiotic mistake of betraying or taking a jab at her or someone close to her, be ready to have your fortune told to you...but it won't be pleasant. Her revenge isn't run off of emotion but strategy, so she'll have your misery calculated down to the very last ounce, like the money snacked from a noble's pouch. Mess with a gypsy, and expect to be rewarded with tenacious penance, because it is just amusing for Syeira at this point.
//// The Final Goodbye ////
Questions/Comments / Ok, so finally I am done, thank goodness XD I realize I wrote a lot, especially in the Background, but I really wanted you to get an idea of what sort of person Syeira is and how her past effects the person she is today. I also tried to explain things as much as possible at some point in the app that was you could full h Understand what I'm going for. I hope this is ok for The Newcomer plotline and of you have any critics I am open for them cuz that way I can improve. Even if Syeira isn't chosen I'll still read since this is such an epic storyline :) Fighting and Good Luck you guys!!!! EDIT: Hey, so I finished up those things you pointed out, I hope it is all ok now :)

► Baekhyun takes Syeira to the river where they could relax and have a picnic/spend lunch there together
► It turns out all this time Syeira birth father has been searching for her and eventually tracts her down to Eudaimonia

► Flashbacks to Syeira's passed or while she tells Baekhyun about it
► All the girls end up spending the day on a "date" with the wrong guy and basically everyone getting to know each other better
Other / If she isn't picked to be a main character, I think it would be cool if she were a cameo^^
