OMG IT WAS AMAZING. So first off we're doing a production of Hairspray, I love it. The place is super well-organized and has all these costumes and posters and props and sets everywhere and it's very beautiful and i loooove it. So the first thing i did when i got there was audition with the other kids. There's a junior cast for the younger kids and a regular cast for us cool teenagers. Everybody had to audition in front of everyone else so that was pretty nerve-wracking. There were some reeeally good kids but some people couldnt sing/act/dance for . My audition didnt go very well cuz i wasnt very warmed up and my voice cracked. Acting was pretty good, and then everyone went to go start learning music. I was really hoping for the role of Penny and I kept getting called to read and sing for her in private so i was really excited. Then we danced foreverrrrr and it was so fun! I love dancing, omg. And finally we did improv games which was kinda bleehhhh cuz i get really nervous about improvisation. And then the roles were revealed!!! I didn't get any leads but that's ok. I got the role of Luanne on the Corny Collins Show, which is a show in the musical for teen idols (singing/dancing). I get to dance a lot in a group with the other teen idols and look pretty! sooooo im super excited and this is going to be a funnn two weeks ><
