Portuguese : A tiny bit. The hispanic district is mixed and, while Spanish evolved as the dominant language due to the majority of Spanish speakers, they adopted some Portuguese in there too.

- English : conversational. He used to work in quite a multi-cultural squad. You pick up a thing or two if you want to communicate with more then vague gestures, you know?

face claim » Oscar Isaac

backup face claim » Idek I'm p sure nobody else is going with Oscar Isaac xD If so I will fight them.

appearance » Gideon is not all that tall, 178cm to be exact, but he makes up for it in mass. He's very strong and his body reflects that. He's muscular and fit, not in a for-show abs and zero fat kind of way, but in a true strength and substance kind of way.

He's got plenty of scars, work hazzard and all that. It doesn't help that his improvised first aid isn't exactly the most gentle. He's got several cuts all over, a burn on the right side of his torso, and a bullet scar on his right shoulder where the bullet itself is still left (it would have done more damage to take it out). He was also shot in the abdomen once which miraculously didn't hit any vital organs but left a glarly scar both at the entry and the exit wound.  "I thought I was a goner and then nothing happened. Pretty disappointing if you ask me."

style » Gideon doesn't have any normal clothes, all he has is work clothes, clothes that are durable and practical and don't get in the way of his job. Tight shirts, tough coats, bulletproof vests, pockets and places for his gear. Also holsters and weapons everywere. That's the Gideon look.

"Okay. So. I'm not saying we're ed. But let's get ourselves uned shall we?"

"It's time for some desperate measures. Oh how I love desperate measures."

"Ugh why the hell did I have to get involved in this mess?!  Juan, next time you high tail it when anything weird starts happening-"

the boy next door.

plotline » The Gunner

personality »  ty, mostly.

+  Witty, level-headed, adaptable, capable, has a heart somewhere deep inside... I think.....

/  Pragmatic to a fault, unpredictable
-   Selfish, emotionally constipated, tactless, morality hah what morality?, coward

Level-headed, adaptable, impulsive, and capable - Gideon knows his . Gideon has been doing his for a long time and he's had quite a bit of practice. While mature isn't always the best way to describe him, Gideon does tend to be more grounded and able to focus on a job and see it done well. He'll see it done while quipping stupid jokes and making light of everything, but he'll see it done well anyway. With Gideon's vast experience, you can rely on him to be capable

Gideon is quick on his feet and tends to be decisive and makes decisions quickly, which makes him rather unpredictable but also adaptable and has gotten him out of many a pinch before. When a plan comes into his minds he immediately acts on it, he doesn't spend time thinkig things through, he just actsHe's very good at seeing opportunities and finding a way out, or a creative solution to a problem. He's able to quickly adapt to new situations and change the original plan to fit it. Quick on his feet and with the field experience to back it up, it can seem like Gideon has a quick solution for everything. They're not always the best solutions, sometimes quick and dirty is the way to go, but a solution is a solution and if it works then Gideon isn't complaining.

He's certainly not one of those people who is obsessed with doing things perfectly and by the books. Gideon is content to cut corners if it makes a job quicker and easier, but that is exactly what makes him more adaptable. Not particularly bound by anyone's rules, Gideon has all the breathing space to truly get creative with his problem solving. Of course sometimes aren'ts the most morally outstanding but hey, you win some you lose some.

Pragmatic, emotionally constipated, questionable-moraled, but, theoretically, has a heart in there somewhere - Pragmantic to a fault, Gideon is used to shoving personal feelings or morality aside in favour of the job at hand. Gideon's learned to compartmentalize a long time ago, and honestly he got used to highly questionable jobs. Gideon's done some really awful in his life, honestly. The way Gideon sees it, that kind of bad isn't on him, he's just the gun for hire, that's for his employer to worry about. He's just doing the job.

Of course things don't work like that, but Gideon has had a lot of practice pushing his emotions down and putting a grin on his face instead. Gideon isn't a heartless monster, there is a heart in the somewhere, theoretically, but it's pushed down so far under layers of distancing and pragmatics it's very hard to find. Being confronted with the terrible he's done isn't something that would end well with Gideon so of course out of a need for survival he's told himself he doesn't care and when you tell yourself something for long enough it becomes the truth.

So now you've got someone who's pretty emotionally constipated, Gideon hasn't been in tune with his own emotions for a long, long time. Threats to those he cares about are the only thing that will make him dead serious, and he makes usre that there aren't very many who fit that category. His family mostly, he'd do anything for his family, and maybe Baixiu and that's it right now. Everything else is just a job for him. He had to stay alive somehow, had to eat,, and thus he had to cope with whatver the job entailed.

He says witty, everyone else says annoying and tactless - Gideon deals with the stressful and, well, questionable nature of his life and his work by instead making light of everything when he can. Gideon is known for cracking jokes even in the most dire or serious situations. It's the way he copes with what he does, though it makes him look like an insensitive a lot of the time. And really, who's to say he isn't? Dealing with morally questionable situations by removing the gravity of it isn't exactly something lawful good people do.

This tendency to make light of serious situations doesn't make him the most popular among people who do see the gravity of a situaion. Gideon can be downright tactless in his attempt to keep the mood light, he doesn't really stop and consider that others might not appreciate it.

Selfish, very selectively loyal,  and cowardly - Gideon has been in this for himself for a long, long time. He really only cares about his family in this world and it shows. If he had to choose he'd choose his fambam at any time, and the things he would do to guarantee their safety are, well, anything. No matter how despicable, he'd do it for his family. Anyone else though? em. They're inconsequential to him and he doesn't give a about what happens to them. Gideon never goes out of his way to be cruel, or to hurt others, but if it's a choice between himself or those he cares about, and the life of a stranger then that choice is easily made.

He's a coward, but not in the traditional sense. Gideon has no qualms putting himself in any danger. If anything he likes the adrenaline rush. However when it comes to his own issues and problems Gideon stays away. He hates having to confront his problems and would much rather just run away from them. This is one of the reasons why he never realized he was a Seven, had he been more introspective and actually tried to be aware of who he was he would have noticed, but if it's not something Gideon likes to acknowledge then he will put off acknowledging it as long as he can. So he ignored the  voice that said maybe something was just a tiny bit off and just kept doing what he was doing.

He's the same with feelings, emotionally constipated as he is he does not want to acknowledge any kind of caring for anyone that isn't his family. Even when it comes to Baixiu, who he does somewhat care about, he'd ignore the fact that he cares. When she turns on him he brushes it off. Whatever. He doesn't care about this. But he does. However, if you don't acknowledge the feelings then they don't exist, right?

Powers »

"Well... ."

- Enhanced perception/intuition - Gideon can sense where people are around him, or at least in theory. In practice it's just a vague feeling that he can't really do anything with. He lost the superpower lottery that's for sure.

While alone his powers are all but useless, with the help of #104 it's a whole different matter. One of her powers is that she augments the powers of others as long as she is touching them. With the help of her augmentation, Gideon can sense the exact location of every person around him and even get a sense of what they're up to. The radius depends on how much energy he's drainning from #104, and augmenting someone's powers drains her energy very quickly so Gideon won't be able to use these powers a lot, but it should come in very handy during critical moments.

Gideon has always been a good shot, sometimes uncannily accurate. Turns out his powers have been landing him a slight hand. Even this is weak, it seems like Gideon was not born to have super awesome kickass powers. He's not entirely sure how it works, something about increased clarity under pressure perhaps? He doesn't even notice its help until #104 got involved. With her augmenting his powers it's like time slows and he perceives everything that happens around him and can act efficiently. Again this takes a lot of energy from #104 and is not sustainable on the long run, but it might just save them in a pinch.

Over the story his powers could grow as he explores them more (and is finally actually aware of them), but they'll never be very strong.

Trivia and junk »

*snicker* "Hey. Hey guys-"

"Keep your sight on the target Gideon."

"I am! But- but guys. Why can't orphans play baseball?"

*deep sigh* "Why, Gideon?"

"Because they don't have a home." *sound of a gunshot* "Bullseye!"

LIKES »

- Night time. Besides the fact that it's the best time for his work, he just likes the atmosphere at night. There's fewer people around and at night the city doesn't seem like such a hole. Most of the time anyway.

- Alcohol, an emotionally cowardly mercenary's best friend! Gideon likes the strong stuff, any liquor will do, but his preference is a good bourbon. He's got a good alcohol tolerance too.

- Visiting the district. It's often a break from everything else that's happening in his life, like a little oasis of okay where he's not Gideon the merc but he's Juan the son of Soledad who is probably getting scolded for not calling in often enough. It's home.

- Really. Bad. Jokes. He's got a dark pretty twisted sense of humour. Comes with the job.

DISLIKES »

- His power, it's so useless! If he had to be a seven why didn't he get to be someone who shoots lasers from his eyes or smt jfc.

- Doing nothing. Gideon always has to be doing something or he gets antsy. When there's nothing to do he'll often default to cleaning his guns. One at a time though and always keep one loaded around just in case. One does not live this long as a merc without being a certain level of paranoid prepared.

- Anyone messing with his guns. They're his damnit, lay off! It's one of those irrational fears that anyone else touching them might break it, and his guns are his lifeline.

HABITS »

- He swears. A lot. And in 4 different languages. It's an artform. He does favor Spanish or Portuguese for swearing, such as the ever-reliable "me cago en tu puta madre." Hispanic swearing is just more creative than English or Korean.

- He talks to himself when he gets annoyed or when he's trying to work something out. He often calls himself Juan when there's no one else around.

- Whenever he enters a place he always automatically registers where all the exits are. Old habits die hard. As would he, if he didn't have that habit.

HOBBIES »

- Maintaining his guns. There's something cathartic about taking a gun apart and cleaning it thoroughly and putting it back together. Plus you gotta take very good care of your equipment when your life is tied to it.

TRIVIA »

- He knows improvised first aid. Quick and easy ways to treat a wound just enough so you can keep going until you're out of harm's way and can find someone who actually knows how to patch you up. Not exactly clean but hey it works.

- He's familiar with most firearms but he's the best with smaller guns. He's good at improvising and mid-range to close combat and prefers to just rush in and make things up as he goes. He knows how to fire a sniper rifle but he doesn't much like it. Too impatient to sit still for the perfect shot. That doesn't mean he can't still though.

- Gideon is also capable of fighting with his fists, he's been in his fair share of brawls before and that physique is certainly useful. He's got no formal training in this at all, everything he learned he learning in actual fights. He fights quick and dirty, nothing is off limits and he's as creative and unpredictable as always.

- While working for the Black Dragon their medical facilities were his to use if he ever got hurt, and when he got seriously hurt he did use them, but he's always trusted that organization as far as he could throw them so he prefered going to his sister for medical help.

- A drunk Gideon is an even merrier Gideon, but he's also more blunt and tactless than he usually it. He just says whatever comes up in his thick skull.

- Do not let him crack a joke. All of his jokes are offensive. And many are puns. For the love of good when he starts snickering and says "Hey, hey guys-" stop him.

background »

"There are only two things for certain in life: death and guns. The former usually follows the latter."

As years went by the cities on earth became more and more multicultural, but when things went wrong and countries crumbled and disasters struck, communities of foreigners with no way to go back to the place of their roots because more insular and pockets of foreign districts popped up in the city states. Gideon was born in once such district, the hispanic one, where people still tried to cling to the culture of their roots. Gideon, born as Juan, was born to a mechanic mother and a deadbeat father involved in the lower city gangs, though his dad didn't stay around for long. He got himself killed when Juan was only 2 years old, not much of a surprise really. They never live very long. Juan certainly never missed him growing up, it takes a town district to raise a kid and in this case the district was very actively involved in the raising, he never felt like he missed anything.

Money was always tight, growing up, but they made do. It didn't help that Soledad often worked for much less than she should be charging because the people she was helping couldn't afford it but she never has the heart to send them away. She once fixed someone's radio for a basket of potatoes and you bet they had delicious papa chorreadas that night.

Growing up Juan was always aimless. He didn't have his mother's knack for mechanics or his sister's intelligence. He didn't really know how to do anything. When he was 16, not knowing anything else to do and admittedly also full of teenage bad decisions, he got involved in the gangs, specifically his dad's old gang. They were involved in some nasty , from petty crime to less petty crime. Thankfully for Juan all of this didn't last long, he was in the gang for about a year when a rival gang managed to murder basically all of them except some of the lower goons who hadn't been at the HQ at the time. Congratulations to Juan who got to live another day!  And, honestly, he was glad it happened. Joining that gang was such a big mistake.

But here he was once again with no purpose, but now he had skill with guns and violence. And he'd taken to guns and violence like it was in his dna. He ended up joining a mercenary company, now going by Gideon as he thought it more appropriate and approachable (and cooler, he was still a teenager), and over the next few years he steadily rose in rank until, when he was 24, he was trusted enough with the more prestigious and secretive clients of the company. One of these included the Black Dragon, who wanted Sevens. Over the next 10 years Gideon took down and kidnapped many a seven for the Black Dragon. He even got his own team to do it and became somehwat of an expert. If there was a seven problem Gideon and his team would be called in to deal with it.

The day the Ones escaped Gideon and his team were called in to try and get them back. Unfortunately things didn't exactly go to plan. And I'll leave the rest to you :D

family »

Soledad Hernández García | mother | 59 | mechanic | caring, tough, stubborn |

"Juan! ¿Estás bien? ¿Comes?¿ Estás herido? Te obligué visitarme más cabrón de mierda."

"¡Mamá mamá! ¡¡Estoy bien!! ¡Mamá ni me dejas respirar!"

Soledad is a formidable woman. She raised two kids singlehandedly (the meager help she got from her boyfriend in the 2 years of Gideon's life that he was alive does not count)  while trying to earn something of a living in one of the poorest places in the city. It was a good thing she's a skilled mechanic and although money was never in abundance, they managed to make do. Soledad stubbornly clings to the old culture and refuses to speak anything but Spanish to her kids unless there's guests present, and even then it'll be a mix of Spanish and Korean. She loves her children fiercely but also doesn't shy away from telling them exactly what she thinks of them, especialyl when it comes to Gideon. She was fed up with her boyfriend's gang life and you better believe she was not happy when Gideon followed in his footsteps. There was a lot of yelling that evening.

When he visits she always simultaneously hugs him really tight and scolds endlessly, always complaining about how he doesn't visit often enough and admonishing him for being an . And true Gideon never visits enough even for his own liking, unless he needs some patching up from Nat. Soledad has never forgiven him for his path of violence and is not afraid to say so. But she's still his mother and will be there for him whenever he needs her. There will always be this undercurrent of Juan being her up son though, the one who threw his life away to pursue violence and murder. Not great. Still there's no place like home and he loves Soledad and Nat as well, and there's nothing like Soledad's home cooking, a mix of latin and korean and a lot of improvisation depending on what ingredients are available and within budget. There's not much Gideon wouldn't do for his family honestly, to an almost frightening degree.

He sends money home regularly since he knows that with Soledad's insistence on helping everyone for much less than she should be charging they're always in need of money. Soledad accepts it but doesn't like it. She would much rather he come home.

Natalia Vásquez Hernández | sister | 31 | nurse | no-nonsense, protective, patient |

"Okay, brace yourself, I'm pulling it out in 3. 2." *pulls it out*

"AAAAH WHAT THE NAT YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO PULL IT OUT ON ZERO."

"What? It's out, that's what you asked isn't it? Next time don't get impaled, you . Now sit still you need stitches."

Nat (and most people do call her Nat) is someone firmly rooted to the ground. She's always had a no-nonsense attitude to the world and sees things the way they are: most of the time. She can seem as a pessimist, a downer, but she's secretly a dreamer, someone who wants to see the good in everyone and wants to help as much as she can. She shares Gideon's penchant for sarcasm but not his black humour and often tells him off for it. She's protective of her family, and she uses family as a loose word. Everyone in the district is her family, and some people outside she sees as honorary family.  She's always been the one with the good head on her shoulder who sees things from a logical point of view and whenever Gideon needs advice he goes to Nat and in return she tries to inspire the good in him. And no matter how much she tells him he's a good for nothing who hurts people for a living and doesn't have a shred of morality in him, she does know that there is good in him.

Nat often tells Gideon off for making Soledad worry and she openly does not approve of his career choices, has never approved of this career choices. But whenever Gideon is in need of medical help he'll go to Nat and she'll patch him up. Honestly she patches up basically anyone who comes around, she has a day job at a local clinic and meanwhile helps anyone without money to visit the clinic in her own living room. Honestly she'll deny being a good person but she really is one. She's certainly too good a person for Gideon that's for sure. But he's her brother and so she'll be here for him when he needs her.

Jung Yeonah  | sister-in-law | 33 | mechanic | brave, opinionated, aloof |

"Yeonah."

"Juan."

"You're still around, I see."

"More than you are."

Yeonah started out as Soledad's apprentice of sorts and she immediately hit it off with Nat. It started as flirting and, well, three years later they were married and have been for the past 10 years. She's very opinionated and is not afraid to give that opinion, Yeonah is incapable of keeping things to herself and often finds herself meddling because she always has to say what she thinks. She's brave though, and will stand up for what she thinks is right even when it might not be a good thing to do. She's hard to get along with and hard to warm up to, but fierce as she is she makes a fantastic friend if you do manage to push through all of that. And furthermore she's one of the best mechanics in the lower cities, often attracting costumers from far reaches just because they know there are few things that Yeonah can't fix.

Yeonah and Gideon do not get along. She had a brother who was a Seven and doesn't take too kindly to having a brother-in-law who hunts them down for a living. That, and there's the fact that Yeonah sees how much Nat and Soledad worry about him and that doesn't sit right with her either. Interactions between the two of them are usually tense, mid-key hostile, and full of sarcasm. Sometimes they even devolve into yelling depending on how on edge they both are.  She's going to have a field day when she finds out Gideon is a seven too.

THE TEAM »

Fan Baixiu |(ex) second in command | 32 | the planner | loyal, honest, clever |

"Sorry Gideon, nothing personal-"

"Come on Xiu, you know that's bull. Don't do this."

"You're one of them, Gid, I'm just doing my job."

"Just be honest with me Xiu. Was it the jokes?"

Baixiu is incredibly loyal. She cares that her word means something, a history of other people's words not meaning something has taught her that. She's unquestionably loyal to her employers. She values honesty and unless there's a good reason to lie she's honest with people. Tactlessly honest but honest anyway. Baixiu tends to just run and doesn't really think about if she might be rude. She's also very clever, something Gideon has always admired in her and also one of the reasons he sought her ought as his second in command to begin with (even if a second in a team of four is a little unnecessary). Baixiu always finds creative and clever strategies. Where, if it were up to Gideon, they'd just charge in without a plan and he'd improvise the rest, Baixiu could always cobble together a good strategy.

Baixiu and Gideon have known each other for years and when Gideon was put in charge of a squad he knew exactly who he wanted as his second in command. He trusts Baixiu with his life and they've always had each other's back. Unfortunately her loyalties are to the company and when Gideon becomes known as a seven she makes it abundantly clear that she won't hesitate to hunt him down if ordered. She won't like it but that's her job, or at least that's what she says. In reality she's majorly conficted about if she ought to be loyal to the company or if she ought to be loyal to Gideon.

Also saying they have a romantic history is giving them too much credit, but they have a history of friends with benefits, blowing off steam together. Gideon sees her as his best friend and definitely has affection for her. It's gonna be rough when she turns on him. Baixiu is the only one who teeters right on the edge of those Gideon would unquestionably fight for and those he would drop without blinking an eye if he had to. He cares more about her than he'd like to admit, he tells herself that if push comes to shove he could pull the trigger on her, but that's a lie.

I'll leave her fate to you if you want to involve her. I can see her staying loyal but I can also see her getting swayed by Gideon in the end, after quite a bit of chasing.

Kim Sijin | (ex) team member | 22 | the sniper | meticulous, determined, patient |

"Hey hyung, I've got the beers."

"I knew there was a reason you're my favourite. Hey, hey Sijin. What's yellow on top and brown at the bottom?"

"I'm sure I don't know hyung."

"Society, Sijin. Society. Cheers."

Sijin has been in Gideon's team for about 3 years now. He was another kid sinking deeper and deeper into the worst parts of the lower city and Gideon saw some of himself in Sijin so he took the kid under his wing and he turned out to have a real gift for sniping. He's always been grateful to Gideon and he's the one most on Gideon's side when the whole Seven/#104 thing goes down, going as far as to disobey Baixiu's orders and refuse to fight him.

Gideon would steadfast refuse to admit that he has a soft spot for Sijin, but he does. He'd be able to pull the trigger on Sijin if he had to, but he'd really rather not. He likes the kid, but not enough to actually consider him family. No hard feelings, Sijin.

It's worth noting that Sijin is the only one who appreciates Gideon's stupid jokes.

Beau Kapoor | (ex) team member| 25 | the thief | shrewd, opportunistic, self-centered |

"Yo Beau, give me a head's up before you murder me in my sleep will ya?"

"Will do sir."

"Hey hey Beau. Food is kind of like my humour-

"I'm going to murder you in your sleep."

"Okay. Good night."

Beau is the newest member of the team, she's only been around for a few months after their previous stealth expect got himself killed. Beau used to be a thief and she's adept at sneaking and breaking and entering which can be very useful skills in their trade. She's someone who's looked out for herself all her life, she has a knack for self-preservation. to Beau, Baeu always comes first. Being the newest she has very little allegiance to either Gideon or Baixiu, she does whatever she needs to do to save her own skin and that's it.

OTHERS »

Kim Namjoon | not friendly | 23 | seer | mysterious, determined, sympathic |

"Hey. Hey. How many fingers am I holding up?"

Gideon is not fond of Namjoon, not fond at all. For one the guy is just too damned secretive and while Gideon can definitely understand why Namjoon wouldn't trust him (he did kind of sort of hunt down his kind before like that's not grounds for a great relationship), it's still annoying and Gideon doesn't shy away from sarcasm when Namjoon isn't being up front. That aside Gideon blames Namjoon for this  whole mess. Unfair, yes, but Gideon doesn't want to admit that it's his own damned fault. He has no idea why Namjoon would want to recruit someone like him, but as far as Gideon's concerned he was doing fine before all this happened. He was living a perfectly good life of dubious morality, he did not need this . Nevermind that he'd still be a seven with or without Namjoon's shady organization, at least he wouldn't be involved in the whole the Ones mess.

TBA| not great lemme tell you |TBA| #101: the Pyro |TBA|

"Let's just put the past behind us shall w- ooooh okay, okay, stop it with the fire please!"

Gideon was the one who brought in #101, in fact she's the one who gave him the burn on his torso. Needless to say they're not each other's biggest fan.

(Disregard this if it doesn't fit with whomever gets #101)

the one and only.

"Shoot that gas tank."

"Woah there, that would cause an explosion that would destroy the whole building- wait I'm the mercenary and you're the kid why am I the one taking the moral high ground here?!"

NAME » Kim Hayan

BIRTHPLACE & BIRTHDAY » New Seoul, 13/03 (17)

HOMETOWN » New Seoul (the good part)
FACE » Eunbin (CLC)

THE ONE » 104: the Riddle

backup THE ONE » 101: The Pyro (that should be explosive)(gettit)(explosive)(//micdrop)
powers »
Prisoning - Hayan can freeze people in a sort of prison (ironically) for a short period of time. The stronger-willed a person is the easier it is for them to break out and vice versa.

Power augmentation - Hayan can augment another Seven's power. This drains a lot of energy from her, as the Seven is basically pulling energy and power from her to make their own stronger. She'll briefly lose conciousness if too much is pulled, and it is possible to kill her if one keeps pulling energy out of her.

personality » Quiet, grounded, logical, intelligent, withdrawn,  patient, empathetic, dismissive, grudging, manipulative, almost robotic, ruthless, frankly can be pretty damned terrifying

At a glance Hayan is simply quiet and introverted. She doesn't like to talk much or too deeply, used to keeping he feelings in check and present a front to the outside world. She's grounded and logical and not ruled by emotion. She's shut off emotion a long time ago in order to cope with the things that were done to her and can seem almost robotic and devoid of empathy. The opposite is true, Hayan is highly empathetic, but she's pushed down her emotions so far they've become warped, and replaced them with fakes ones. A fake smile to the scientist as she bids him goodmorning. A fake smile at #105 as she convinces her that she's okay and everything will be alright. There's hints of truth in her smiles, but they're often disconnected to how she feels. In that way she has also become adapt at manipulation. She knows what the person she's talking to wants to feel, and project that.

Hayan is... unsettling. She's very, very smart and very, very logical. She's quick to see openings and plans and she's the kind of person who is patient and works for the long run. She can wait years if it means that perfect opportunity to complete her goal. Her years in, well, captivity have left her more than a little ed up. She's high empathetic, but only towards those she cares towards, and is downright dismissive towards those she doesn't. In that way she is also more than a little ruthless and is definitely someone who is able to commit sacrifices for the greater good. Or sometimes simply for her own revenge, depending on how she can convince herself that it's worth it. As long as she deludes herself that it was worth it and stops herself from thinking too much about the individual she can do pretty damned terrible things.

Hayan cares deeply for those she considers her own. She would go to the end of the earth for the Ones. There is very little she wouldn't do for them. Hayan would likely sacrifice the earth for them. It's all or nothing for her. Keep them safe at all costs. But with Hayan's penchant for logic and long term thinking the way this manifests is not always clear ot those around her. She pretended for years to be a perfect little labrat and shield the scientists from #101's wrath, but when was finally time to escape she watched them burn with not a shred of compassion. Hayan is, quite frankly, pretty damned terrifying.

All in all Hayan is pretty messed up. In order to heal she will have to come to terms with her own emotions, pulling them out of the dark hole they've been stashed in, and oh boy that is going to be a mess. She is going to be a mess. But until then she is holding a grudge like none other with the ruthlessness to see it through.

BACKGROUND » Kim Hayan is the daughter of a politician, Hayan has spent all of her life in one prison or another. From the invisible pen of perfect and personality-less daughter, to the familiar confines of the house when it was discovered she was a Seven, to the very visible prison that was the Black Dragon. All her life she's beent traded from one prison to a more confining one until she ended up at the Black Dragon and it didn't get much more confining than that. Free will? Hayan wouldn't know what to do with it.

Hayan knows very well that it was her own father who handed her over to the Black Dragon, but she holds no bad blood. She knows he was lied to about the extend of the organisation, knows that they simply told him they'd keep her safe from herself and played him like a fiddle. She holds no grudge to her father (even if perhaps she should).

She has no such affordances for the Black Dragon. The things they did to her and the others were monstrous, and Hayan has been biding her time to get her revenge. The first step was getting them out, and it has been a plan long in the making. She managed to keep the knowledge of her augmentation powers to herself, and even from the other ones, while playing the obedient little labrat. Only #102 knew about it before the plan was set into motion. They would only have one shot at this after all.

And now she's out. Now what? Hayan knows what. Revenge, served cold and ruthlessly and efficiently. She has no plans to let the Black Dragon continue to exist after all the they have done to her and the others. And when she found Gideon, well, one would almost call it fate.

FAMILY » Format: Kim Hyunwoo |father|52|politician|ambitious, conservative, weak-willed|She knows her father gave her to the Black Dragon out of his own free will but she's told herself she isn't angry at him for it. Logically she knows he's been manipulated. Really, though, deep down she resents him for being willing to push his daughter away as soon as she became a liability to his career. If she meets him again she will at first be logical and impersonal about it, but the more she spends with him the more those emotions bubble up.

FRIENDS/RIVALS » Aside from the Ones, whose relationships I'll let you determine, she doesn't really have anyone.

story Together » They way they met is purely accidental. She honestly just happened to be around when went down with Gideon. What happened was this: Gideon had no idea he was a Seven. None at all. His powers are miniscule and hadn't even awoken until a few months ago. Gideon and Baixiu were meeting with a middle man of the company he was working for. Middle man happened to be able to sense Sevens. Gideon was boned.

One thing led to another. A very, very confused Gideon was staring at the barrel of a gun belong to a very, very confused Baixiu. Hayan, who happened to be there at the time, saw Gideon as an opportunity. She used her powers to freeze Baixiu and the middle man and help Gideon gtfo of there. Gideon was all ready to high tail it out of there and lose this kid asap but Hayan got hurt and managed to convince Gideon to take her to the hispanic district to get patched up (after some heavy convincing, Gideon was at first still totally ready to just leave her in a gutter, he ain't a good person). And of course, once his mom and his sister got involved, Gideon couldn't just dump her somewhere anymore. And Hayan had a goal she could very much use someone like Gideon for. And that goal was vengeance.

The rest I leave totally in your hands. Hayan is at a moral crossroads where either he can develop into something ruthless and quite honestly terrifying, or she can heal from the wrongs that have been committed to her and the other Sevens. Basically the way I've set it up for you is a story of two people inspiring each other to become less , or more , or more and then less . But it's all about morality, have fun with that

I've also kept parts of her background a little vague so you can adapt it whatever way you need to for the story.

last words.

comments/suggestions » The best part of this app was hands down finding gifs of Oscar Isaac xD Which then ended up being gifs of Poe Dameron since it's the only sort of more dishevelled look he has that also isn't hobo chic.

Also holy Hayan did not go where I want her to go. I set out for quiet and grounded but decent and cautiously optimist. I got a monster. Welp. Good luck.

The Spanish with his mum translates to:

"Juan! Are you okay? Are you hurt? Are you eating? I told you to visit more often you goat!"

"Mom, mom, I'm fine!! Mom, I can't breathe!"
