Hello!

This is part 2! I highly suggest you read read part 1 first!

So let's continue...

I was so excited to get the gift which was essentially a notebook (for people who watched/read death note, it was a replica of the death note). I opened it as soon as I got home. I somehow got it in my head that there might me a message for me in the book. So I search the book cover to cover every single page. But to my utter disappointment I found nothing. 

The next morning, I messaged him to thank him and we chatted a bit but here is where it got a bit interesting. He sends a reply the didn't quite fit into the current conversation - did you get the note.

My heart started racing and I went to get the gift and I flipped through the book looking for a note. But I still didn't find it. I even retraced my path that I took since I opened it. But there was nothing. So I replied with - I didn't see a note. Was there a note inside?

He then suddenly changed gears again. He replied very quickly with something along the lines of - I was talking about the death note.

Now this doesn't make sense to me. If he meant - did you get the death note (the gift)  - it doesn't make sense of course I got the death note. He gave it to me personally and I had even thanked him for it a few minutes ago! So I tried to ask him more, but he didn't give me any answers and so I eventually left it saying it's all in my mind. BUT I still had so many questions!

What do you guys think? Was there a note? If so what was in the note?
