PERSONALITY:

Hye is not exactly who you would thought being an Idol one day. People who know Hye would say she's way too shy and quiet to be one. Even so, she's very generous with her smile. A smile will always attach on her already sweet face, that is one of the first thing people around her would notice. She doesn't like to be in the spotlight, or specifically being the center of attention. Hye prefers blending with the crowd at back, but that seems impossible. She's just that one person that her friends can always count onto, from her upbringing Hye really value friends and family. People usually can come to her for any kind of advices, she might not be a girl with much words but when she do talks people always listens.

Now let's meet Jo, she's is a total 180 of our lovely Hye. What Hye usually keeps only to her family and close friend is about her talent. Her singing, to be exact. Hye loves singing, that is just one of her passion and a way for her to express herself. Jo is a very hardworking person, and a perfectionist. This sometimes can be both good and bad for her, that nature of her do help her in life but also strain her because she won't stop until she feels everything is 1001% perfect. Another thing about Jo that's different from Hye is that she's not afraid to speak out herself about stuffs she's passionate of. She will not back down if she feels herself right, until you present a valid evidence about whatever you're 'debating' about, just be prepare with a mini civil war.  

BACKGROUND: 

Hye is born to a family of 5, including herself. She's the youngest and only girl, growing up with two half brothers whom are twins.  She is born and raised in the capital city London, UK before moving to Gangnam. Her father is a businessman who takes over family's business in steels, while her mother is a professor in university teaching Sociology and Criminology. So it is undeniable that she's in the upper-class community, but because of her personality Hye remains down-to-earth. When her family still lives in UK, Hye grew up without any problems even if she's a quiet kid. Her friends always be the ones that initiates something, and she would goes along with it.

Unfortunately, after they move to South Korea because of her mom's profession it is a whole new world to her. Her peers here are different from the ones before, instead of being welcome somehow Hye's being pushed away by them. She was bullied by them, because of reasons Hye can't seem to understand. Her ethnicity usually become the main reason, also her personalities. This makes Hye to hide deeper into her shell instead of opening up, not to mention her 'wealth' doesn't makes things go easier for her. Hye is a pushover, least to say. Now this is the nature of hers that her peers really take advantage of, they would ask money from her saying that if she wants to be their friends she must buy them stuffs. So she being a pushover and sometimes naive, does everything they say because she's just desperate of wanting someone to be called friend.

That phase goes on for years until Hye starts high school, where she now knows their real intentions. She cuts herself out from them, and that makes them somewhat angry. This time they decided to bully her physically, by pranking her almost every single day. Hye's a total strangers even in her own classroom, the guys aware of it but they never seem to do anything to stop it but they also didn't take part in any of it. Until one day, a new girl who just moved from Busan to Seoul become friend with Hye. Hye was skeptic at first, she distant herself but the Busan girl can't seem to understand or give up. She relentlessly want Hye to be her friend, and she was there defending Hye when one morning she saw firsthand what they do to Hye.

The girl threaten the girls who bullied Hye, which somehow they obey and leave Hye alone for the first time. Hye feels grateful and in the end they became great friends. The same girl was also the first outsider that knows of Hye's talent and urges her to take part in auditions, she believes in Hye. She even goes along with Hye on the day of the audition that eventually change Hye's life forever.

Hye is really close with both her mom and dad. She's a total daddy's girl, and whenever her mom doesn't allow her to do something she can always count on her dad to back her up. The way they pursuade the mother? By giving their infamous puppy eyes that no one can resist. These two usually embarks in the world of pranks, the brothers would usually be the main targets of these pair. 

Hye's mom is the one that's usually set the rules in the house, and everyone that's living under her roof must obey. If not, you're only signing to your own death. She is the Iron Lady, what Mina would refers her to at times. But even so, Mrs Ryu is the one that Hye would look for when she have problems. She's the one that Hye takes off with her deep and meaningful words of wisdom.

2Chris, what Hye and Mina would call them are Hye's half-brothers from her father's previous marriage. Their biological mother was an addict whom neglected her children and eventually died from overdose. They're really protective of Hye especially since they found out about the bullying, but remains quiet on her request. For them, Hye is the apple of their eye and princess. Because of that sometimes these two would spoil Hye even though she asked them not to, with stuffs that she loves. 

✩ Best friend - Park Mina (19) / High school student / Weird, quirky, loud, mother hen , total badass /10/10 [Fc: Kim Dani]

They met after Mina moved to Seoul from Busan, where she goes to the same school as her and Vernon. Hye was picked by the teacher to be Mina's guid for the week, so that she can become familiar with the new school. Mina tried multiple times on trying to get Hye to be friends and open up to her, but all those attempts goes to waste. But she never gives up, even though the week went by just like that. Until one day Mina saw her so-called classmates bullied Hye, she stepped in and literally fights 5 of them single-handedly. Mina declares Hye as her friend, and threatens anyone who messes with Hye means messing with Mina herself. Ever since that day, grateful Hye became good friends with bad girl Park Mina.

✩  Close friends - Amber Liu (23) / Idol (F(x)) / Funny, kind, cheerful, friendly, down-to-earth / 10/10

The two meet when Hye's on her first year training at SM, F(x) became a mentor like for a session to Hye and a group she's assigned to. Amber saw how shy and quiet she was and the first to approach her. They clicked right away, maybe because of how comfortable they talked in English. Hye even clicked with the rest of F(x) members, who sees her like a little sister. Even after the session finished, Hye and F(x) are close especially Hye and Amber. 

✩  Close friends - Hansol Vernon Chwe / Vernon (18) / Idol (Seventeen) / Kind, brotherly-like, sweet /10/10

Vernon and Hye actually attended the same school, where he's a junior of hers. He knows who Hye is, he always sees her around the school but never had they talk before until Mina came along. As a person that's super friendly, Mina befriend Vernon and she introduced him to Hye. He might be a year younger, but Vernon is really protective of Hye especially after he found out about the bullying. He's always there for her, he even came to cheer on Hye when she went to her audition. Vernon is a er for Hye's desserts, especially her cheesecake which he often asks her bake for him. Vernon always teaches Hye in dancing, and TRIED to teach her in rapping but as we all know she's deaf-tone in that matter. 

✩ Friends - Lee Seokmin / DK (19) / Idol (Seventeen) / Cheerful, loud, funny, friendly / 8/10

DK met Hye when Vernon introduced Hye to Seventeen before they debut. He brought her to their practice room, and Hye somewhat intrigued DK with her quiet demeanor. Just like Amber, he initiated the first move and make conversation with her. Hye slowly keeps her walls down, and by the end of the day she's comfortable with Seokmin (which Vernon secretly feels jealous of). Hye is like one of Seventeen's biggest fan and supportor from day one, Seokmin is one of hers. They always helped each other with vocals techniques and all (that makes Vernon jealous of yet again) XD.

✩ Friends - Zhou Mi (30) / Idol (Super Junior M) / Protective, big brother alike, friendly / 8/10

These two simply met when they bumped into each other in the building. Hye was on an errand at the time and on a rush when she crashed into Zhou Mi whom was talking to Henry at the time. Hye apologized multiple times, and he shrugged it off nicely. He even helped Hye with her errand, and after that Hye search for Zhou Mi to give him her homemade cake. Zhou Mi is the one that Hye can go to have 'deep' conversations with, since he's way older than her Hye really looks up to him as a senior also as a brother. Hye feels she can be herself around him, without feeling judged. He makes her feel like at home when she get's too homesick (due to busy training).

✩ Friends - Nam Taehyun (22) / Idol (WINNER) / DRAMA QUEEN (Period!), crazy, protective / 8/10

They met when Hanbin, him and Mino bumped into Hye at a cafe when she's on her 'duty' to buy coffees for the older members. These two clicked right away, somehow. Hye opens up to this guy like she's with her older brother where they always have something to argue about when they meet. She loves to act all cutesy around him because she knows how much he love-hate about it. When Taehyun dyed his hair blonde during 'Sentimental' era, he and Hye were called 'Blonde Twins' by Winner members because of the same color. Hye saves his contact number under the name 'NamBunny' where he saves hers as 'HyeAla' - He says Hye is like a koala around him.

Taehyun is also a very protective person when it comes to Hye because he sees her as a little sister and vice versa for Hye. Sometimes the members of WINNER would call them 'Ahjumma Duo', simply for the fact that they always gossips like old ladies when they hang out.Another thing that Taehyun loves to do is to tease Hye's accent when she speaks in English. He loves to annoy Hye with it and every single time it would get Hye all riled up, that he loves so much. 

✩ Friends - Kim Minsoo/ Min-U (20) / Idol (Corona) / Easy-going, funny, boyish, hardworking / 8/10

The pair met nearing Hye's the end of her first year at SM, during the start of second year Hye and other trainees were asked to watch few of the older trainees perform and Minsoo was one of them. Hye was captivated by her powerful dancing and singing ability, so it is clear that Hye sees Minsoo as a role model even though it's only a year difference between their age. 

Before the end of the session, luckily Hye was paired with Minsoo for an evaluation for the end of the month. They kinda bonded through that experience and Hye was really grateful for the opportunity. These two also bonded by how different their personalities are, Minsoo is the boyish unnie where Hye is the gentle dongsaeng. Hye really sees Minsoo as an older sister that she really wish she have in life. Last but not the least, the love they had for both of iKon's rappers make them clicked into another whole level.

LAST COMMENT: I hope my character is good enough, I'm sorry if it's bad and unrealistic. It's been awhile since I apply for one of these. If there's any error (which I know I have lots of it but I might not realize) do tell me and I'll change it. 

I might tweak a little bit of here and there in the near future but nothing major, I hope. 

SCENE REQUEST: 

✩ A scandal involving Hye and B.I. surfaced after pictures of them on a date (with Chanwoo tagging) snapped together is put online. B.I. clears it during in a radio show, saying it is not 100% true or false. The pair is not dating, but he won't deny that he has been seeing lately and likes her. Chanwoo backs his beloved leader up. (Maybe after Hye's group debut? Or before? Any of your choice.)

✩ Vernon and DK come to support Hye on her first showcase with Corona. 

✩ Another scandal (HAHA I just love scandals) of HyeBin (Hye and B.I.) occurred, where someone photo shopped a picture of B.I. and Lee Hi together (kissing or something) saying B.I. cheated on Hye. (This is after they started dating.)

✩ Bitter bullies that used to bullied Hye, make up false news saying how she's a two-faced and flase accused her of bullying people before.

✩ B.I. asks Hye on another date (without Chanwoo tagging fortunately for him), and in the end of the day he asks her to be his girlfriend.

✩ Hye meets Lee Hi, introduced by B.I. and both shrugs off the scandal involving the trio. They even snapped a picture together and post it online.

✩ Mina came to visit Hye at SM as a special guest, results in so much loudness and quirkiness coming from both Mina and some Corona members.

✩ Hye goes to visit Hanbin's family without him knowing at first, and was shock to see Hye and Hanbyul play dress up as princesses when he visits his family that day. ( Hye as Aurora, Habyul as Cinderella. )

✩ iKon come to Corona's showcase in Seoul to support them. Even disguise themselves as girls.

✩ iKon had a small battle between members where they formed smaller groups ( Just like in Mix&Match ). B.I., Chanwoo and Donghyuk in one team, Bobby and Yunhyeong, and Jinhwan and Junhoe in a team. The ones with two members are allowed to bring whoever they want as the 3rd member. Bobby calls Minsoo as their's where Jinhwan calls Hye (without Hanbin knowing).

✩ Hanbin gets jealous when HyeSol (Hye and Vernon) shippers brings eveything about the two out of proportion and the netizens seems to ship them as well, which leads to the 3rd major fights between this two. Hanbin lets his jealously and anger gets to him where Hye just doesn't understand on why he would be so angry about it. The pair stopped talking for about a month before Corona and iKon members literally push them together to make up. (Officially dating period)

✩ Hye injures her vocal cords and has been going back and forth to the hospital but never tell her bandmates because she doesn't want to worry them. It backfires during a promo performance (Corona / HEBE), she loss her voice completely while singing her hgh note. She had to undergo surgery and was asked to rest for a few months, causing her to miss alot including a major concert where Corona is invited to. 

✩ The girls had a slumber party at their dorm where all sleep at the living room and talk about life the day before their official debut day and press conference. 

✩ Hye volunteers to go to the coffee shop that Corona always goes to near SM, and bumped into Hanbin there who went along with Taehyun and Minho of Winner. He introduces her to both of them and somehow Taehyun and her become close by the tme her drinks are all good to go, least to Hanbin's expectation. 

✩ Hye reads malicious and hate comments about her relationship in particular online and she broke down in tears, Corona members comforted her and Minsoo (maybe) tells Bobby about it. Which he obviously tells Hanbin and together with all iKon members they go to Corona's dorm bringing foods and all to cheer her up. (Also because some members want to see the girls. Fanboy alert!)

✩ Taehyun becomes Hye's personal art teacher after she asked for his help one day, but it looks bad (her drawing) because she's really bad at it unfortunately. He posted the drawing onto his IG for fun (to ).
