CHO seoKKook (조석국/曺晳菊)

boy scout _ not only because that's pretty much what he is, but this is used at a mocking manner at school, which internally hurts seoKkook despite how he tries to laugh it off. it started when he wore his uniform to school without actually knowing how much embarrassment it would give him.
"oh, boy scout, where's your mommy?"
seok _ a nickname jeongsu once called him long ago. obviously acquaintances and such would call this for short, but jeongsu said it out of fondness. seokkook misses that fondness.
APPEARANCE : in the least offensive way, he has a face a mother could love. BLACK BANGS ARE NEATLY CUT AND ARE NEATLY COMBED AS WELL, PERFECTLY FITTING THE BOY'S FACE. eyes aren't round, glittery doe eyes, but rather his eyes look as if they would sink into his skin, especially when his eyelids attack them when he smiles, covering them up. his nose isn't the shape of a ski-slope as well, but rather a flat, round one. TO BE QUITE HONEST, this boy can't be considered handsome, beautiful, boyfriend material, or anything of the sort by just his face, but maybe it's his height at 167 cm (quite short for a high school male, if anything,) his demeanor that is already quite meek compared to the other tall, buff teens he's around, or his lips that are always in a small smile constantly, )yet something about that smile seems very, very blank) but he just exudes delight by just his simple aura. unfortunately, this is a huge disadvantage to the strange puzzle called reality.
style : despite the boy scout uniform he wore to the first day of high school without knowing how much of a laugh it can bring, (he obviously changed out of it later during the day, but god was never on his side, for nobody seemed to forget the boy scout freak.) SEOKKOOK's summer fashion reeks of disney channel sitcoms. bright but not exactly fashionable or trendy, it matches his exterior quite well. some of the colors are a little too much of... color and even though he balances it well with the whites and khakis of his pants, and though his wardrobe isn't that flashy either, it's the almost perfect, commercialized, sunny feeling through his clothing that kind of sends you a little bit of tingles up you spine cos of how... happy he seems for a teen his age. despite that, he seems to fit tumblr styled pastel fashion as well with oversized shirts and jean shorts.

UNFORTUNATELY, SEOKKOOK IS NEVER TAKEN SERIOUSLY. he's just always seen as an innocent child thaT'S JUST TOO BUBBLY FOR THE REST, MAKING HIM QUITE THE OF MANY JOKES. yet this is a shallow perception of himself nonetheless.
if seokkook were an animal, he would be a chameleon. he's able to blend himself in with the mood of the environment, and subconsciously, he's able to lead conversations in the way the others want him to. reading people also means that seokkook prevents himself from sharing what he feels, and this makes him rather passive-aggressive.
but honestly, seokkook had enough of living like a kid and he's honestly going crazier and crazier...

_ HE'S QUITE POPULAR AMONG THE GROWN UPS AND PARENTS, AND HE GETS ALONG WITH little KIDS QUITE WELL. it's just that his fellow classmates just underestimate him a lot, and when you're around people like them, it's not very pretty.
_ he is also infamous and famous for being the one running around the neighborhood with boxes of cookies in hand. it's infamous cos it gives them more to talk about, but it all comes to a matter of perspective, after all.
_ was very fond of the troop leader jeong jihun until a bonfire incident. jihun is still very (and densely) fond of the latter.
_ username was out of mockery towards himself rather than actually taking pride as a boy scout
_ however, he does take pride in having a "top cookie seller" patch

summertime : unfortunately for seokkook, boy scouts doesn't end for him until he graduates at the age of 18. it's been a few weeks or a month since the bonfire incident, he's aloof and dead inside, and his happiness seems rather manic. and everything is just so awkward for him now despite how much he smiles. he doesn't feel right. THANK GOODNESS SCHOOL IS WRAPPING UP. his relationship with jeongsu is more than awkward. his relationship with jihun, the damned troop leader, get him out of here. hE'S HONESTLY SO FINISHED WITH EVERYTHING, and the cute persona, he realizes, needs to go.
and now he's here with the orange haired boy pulling him back from dragging himself towards the river. before taking the plight.

relations :
hong kangjun. kangjun likes to refer to himself as a street smart, smooth, and wonderful best friend to seoKKOOK, though most he's been talking about is how many girls he's kissed at kyungsoo's party. SEOKKOOK appreciates kangjun's help as a "best friend" at the least, but when kangjun likes to share just things about himself and his own achievements, seoKKOOK can't help but to feel like a rock.
kwon jinwoo. jinwoo's the person that seokkook hates the most. when he first moved into the neighborhood, seokkook and jeongsu were quite welcoming to him for he was a new classmate and a new boy scout in unit 069. jinwoo got closer to jeongsu eventually, and although seokkook did feel a tinge of despair, there was also a little bit of intimidation coming his way. jeongsu wouldn't budge though, and jinwoo's plan was working. together, jeongsu and jinwoo crashed their fists onto poor seokkook, and whenever authorities weren't around, they'd pin him down. seokkook didn't have anywhere else to run until jinwoo moved out of the neighborhood (it was apparently due to his father's job as a diplomat, but seokkook cares less.) seokkook felt scared then, but now he feels wrath towards him.
kim jeongsu. as the other boy scout in seokkook's year and known for prince like looks and honestly, for just being close to perfection overall, seokkook used to be close friends with this boy all until everything shut down. jinwoo took him off his feet and ran off with him, leaving seokkook alone. that is, until they came back and tortured him physically, mentally, and romantically, for seokkook harbored a crush on jeongsu ever since. seokkook couldn't do anything about his crush, too blinded with pure innocent love. but after what happened at the bonfire and a threat from the troop leader, seokkook never wanted to see him again. then before he knew it, jeongsu came back to him with a heart pounding eternally, but seokkook can't budge anymore.
jeong jihun. the troop leader that seokook used to admire, seokkook thought that he was able to trust him, but he was wrong. after spilling out all the conflict that he had with jeongsu and jinwoo, jihun, at the bonfire with the other boy scouts, used seokkook's situation as an example before glaring at jeongsu in front of him, threatening him with suspension out of the troop. seokkook was so, so embarrassed; he didn't want anybody to know about what was actually going on behind how happy he seemed to be.
