Stories by blue_fairy : Now, Then and the Future (part 2)

Hello. It's me again.

The rain has stopped outside. I shall pick up where I left off.

After SHINee Girl, I went into hiatus for about three years. During those times, I kept up with college as much as I can so in the end, I'll be able to graduate and become a pharmacist.

An aspiring English teacher to a pharmacist. That sounds a bit off, isn't it?

Unfortunately, I stumbled in matriculation college and fell into a slump for a year. I despised myself for not achieving my goal, constantly being anxious of not doing anything while my friends are adjusting to life in university. It was to a point that I thought my parents were going to marry me off since I'm about to be unemployed for life.

Luckily, I got accepted into a three year training program for future government staffs.

BAD GIRL

Okay, this is getting boring. Let's just cut to the chase.

I had a lot of free time while waiting for the final results when I decided to write again. EXO made their comeback with Wolf and Growl at that time, the concept drew me in.

The boys became wolves running after a human, helpless girl. Sounds cool, but I wanted a girl who's not helpless, instead she's the one to be feared of.

That's right. Femme fatale. I want her to be a femme fatale. With that, I made my comeback as Bad Girl. I considered this an experiment, making up scenarios and all. Though it's my first try on fantasy genre, I wanted to give it a go.

After Bad Girl, I came up with a sequel called Bad Boy : The Second Story. It took place a year later. There's a lot going on; Kris and Ah Young are married, Baekhyun and Dahye are getting ready to ascend the throne,  Lay and Luhan went back to medic school (plus a new girl and Xiumin?) and the maknaes, Kai and Sehun also went back to school. Everything seems well since the death of The Unit's leader, but what they didn't know is the Leader's assistant is out to get them.

The new characters are BTOB's Hyunsik, fictional Hyeji and her family.

Instead of focusing on the royal couples, I shifted the main focus to the maknaes (Kai and Sehun) and Hyunsik. Hyunsik is the leader's assistant, sent out on a mission as plan B should their invasion attack fails. He, Dahye and Donggeun (BTOB's Peniel) grew up together in The Unit.

Also, I elaborate more on Kai's uncertain past and his friendship with Sehun put to a test by a girl named Hyeji.

PERFECT MATCH

A few months later, I came back with EXO (again, haha). I went back to modern world, this time experimenting with matchmaking. The American movie Hitch inspired me. Cupid is a team, consists of Do Kyungsoo, stylist Jae In, tech expert Jongdae and maknae Sehun. Their roles were based on what people does in a mission, going undercover with various props and costumes, looking up for infos and excellent paparazzi skills (photography Sehun).

It's like espionage but in terms of bringing two people together. What made it different was some of the couple might not know they have been set up. Unlike other matchmaking agencies, they became the ones who worked behind the scenes and the factor of all the little things that brought the couple together.

I also came up with a sequel, Perfect Match II : Where Is The Love. The story takes place two years later. Kyungsoo and Joohee are happily dating, so as Jae In and Jongdae. Suho and Seri has a son, Sehun went back to school but longtime couple Jimin and Chanyeol broke up.

The sequel features how the Cupid members advances in their own relationship and the latest mission; to look into Jimin and Chanyeol's sudden break up.

Also, there are new characters; VIXX's Ken, fictional Park Yooyoung and more.

Though I took it down after awhile since there's no response to it. It was unfortunte but I guess it's not as exciting as the first one.

ME & YOU

Me & You was my first BTS story. It was from the one I wrote in Malay a few years ago. I revised it to BTS version.

Back to school, I say. Taehyung plays the soccer superstar V (not the captain) and yes, I made BTS into a soccer team. The rivals are Taehyung and Jin, the latter joins the team a bit later after transferring to the school.

It's typical, a nerd and a hotshot as a couple. I didn't want Ha Eun's transformation to be grand and frankly, having Taehyung falling for her immediately is boring. I developed their feelings little by little, first Taehyung when he's attracted to Ashley and later Ha Eun after she forfeits from their bet.

Don't forget the villain Yoon Sohee and the rest of Bangtan team.

Basically, it's just kids living their life in school.

Instead of a sequel, there's a spin-off featuring Jimin and her twin Yunhee (plus Jungkook) in Fifteen. However, this too had no response so I took it down.

WHAT IS LOVE

This is one of the stories that I took down as well. I made this prior to Kris and Luhan's departure from EXO, this time it's more mature than the previous stories.

Jang Hanna is a young, single mother who works hard in study and also to support her five year old. She came to work as a second maid in Kris's house, a young enterpreneur who just moved in to Korea.

Luhan is a free-spirited photographer whereas Elaine Yuan wanted to be free to make her own decisions despite being engaged to Kris.

The four characters are very different in terms of background. Hanna took in her sister's baby after her sister's painful death. She saw the pain that came with loving someone, thus she lost her belief in love. Kris has no experience in loving someone, he resolved to accept just anyone as it was the norm in the high society. As his feelings developed for Hanna, he had no idea how to present his heart or deal with Hanna's coldness.

I do wish to continue this someday. It's a good concept, mature and not just about someone falling in love. It's more finding love and what it means in general.

That's it for now. I'll continue with my current and future stories on the next post. Until then...
