PERSONALITY TRAITS — blunt, outgoing, secretive, playful, caring, manipulative

ELABORATION —

• nari is generally a friendly and outgoing person, in fact she loves people most days like any other person, but this always doesn't translate well, in her friendliness she also prides herself on being honest but her honesty isn't what most people want to hear because she's blunt, she says exactly what she thinks. Naturally this leaves a bad taste in peoples mouth so she's learned to be secretive and manipulative, so that situations go the way she wants them to or in her judgement the best end so no one gets hurt. She actually cares about peole alot, so she dislikes when she has to be secretive and manipulate others, but she is by no means above doing so unless feelings can't be spared. Aside from these rather serious traits she's quite a playful person, often opting to make others laugh and create joy when she can even at the cost of her dignity.
 

BACKGROUND —

• nari had no future, she was an orphan, her parents died in a terrible car crash. She was sad at first and then just stopped caring, he lack of care in her youth deterred prospective parents and by the age of four she decided that she would not be adopted unless she fixed her attitude but that was highly unlikely for the four year old, so the orphanage decidedf or her. The next day, men in suits and driving a a pristine white van came to get her, she didn't know why and didn't care anywhere was better than the orphanage so she left and never looked back or though about that place. Upon her arrival she met many people the first being Wu Yifan, he quickly became like a sibling to her, along with Oh Sehun, however with Yifan she felt like the younger sibling. She was often seen with him or playing with Sehun. They became her surrogate family, slowly getting her to care and open up. She acquired many friends as well, Baekhyun adn Eunbyul, both in different ways though. Eunbyul was one of few females she felt she could get along with, and she found great joy in annoying Baekhyun or proving him wrong. 

• that fateful day in 1999 when they administered the serum, Nari just thought it was a routine day, as they were constantly stuck with needles and had tests run on them. Nothing was routine about it though, almost immediately after she was inject she felt as if she was being ripped apart. She screamed and cried, begging for the pain to stop, for any type of relief. It didn't it continued, for several days, but to her it felt like years, constant spikes of unbearable pain in between the moments of dull pain where she lucid enough to be fed and get water. Sleep was a stranger, throughout the entire process she never got restful sleep. She thought she had died many times only to be reminded by the blinding waves of pain.

• when she finally awoke, she was weak and could barely speak, as she had screamed so much that was raw, even though she was well hydrated throughout the ordeal. After that day nothing was the same, she felt strange, and rightfully so, her and the others had developed abilities, amazing and terrifying abilities. She could move faster than any human alive. Training only got tougher after that, each day limits were pushed, and as they grew so did their abilities. It wasn't until after training increased that she met Chanyeol, she knew his name but had never met him, he was pparently her mission partner? Well that meeting could have gone better but no one can change the past, except that one kid and she got another new friend from that as well, a boy named Suho. Their rocky start didn't get much better until, she got hurt one day, then he realized she was fragile, not even that breakable and nothing could change that. After that they argued and fought less, much to Suho's releif as he tired of extinguishing fires.

• However, that change came at a price, they had never truly been treated like people but after developing the abilties they were reduced to numbers and letters, test subjects. She watched four of her friends, who had enough decide to take the biggest risk anyone in Exodus lab could take, they attempted to escape. It was failure ultimately, while they left the lab shortly after they were killed, and in light of the incident things within the lab got worse. Nari however couldn't blame her friend, they wanted freedom, and a better life and so did she, she just wasn;t brave enough then to try. However that was then and this now, now she waits, plotting and planning meticulously with the others for their own escape, she is nervous, and excited at the same time becuase they all know that if they fail, they'll die too.
