why aren't there synonyms for 'me'.

traits — (+ ) warm, selfless, empathetic, hard-working, open-minded, observant

(-  ) disorderly, irrational, indecisive, sensitive, secretive, overprotective

personality —
Warm; the best word that could describe Agata and her way of interacting and seeing the world. Some people say that she radiates warmth everywhere she may go. She often welcomes and accepts people into her life with open arms, just like how she looks upon opportunities that come in her life. On a daily commute, Agata meets different people from different backgrounds. She is the type to strike up conversations with strangers that she just met, quick to observe things about them, even their tiny quirks. Agata thinks, although it might be lame for someone her age, that everyone is special--with their own feelings and emotions. Highly empathetic (mostly due to her ability to sense other people's emotions), she often tries to listen to other people and talk them out their problems. She is open-minded towards other people and their opinions, and always tries to understand where they are coming from. She cares for other people and treats them in an almost "motherly" way. Her goal is to protect the people around her, which can lead her to become overprotective.

Although it may not be seen at first glance, Agata is hard-working and determined in everything she does. She pursues her hobbies and her works religiously, with vigor, even though at times disorderly. Simply put, she just has a different way of dealing with things. She tries her hardest to learn about her abilities and her capacities as a new Avenger and tries to constantly improve. Growing up under her mother and her father's guidance, Agata has learned to become selfless. As she fights along the new Avengers, she fights and kills those who are not for the greater good. She puts other's needs before hers and always tries to make things better for them, even if she'll face the consequences. This has led her to become irrational in decisions that she makes. She is also oftentimes indecisive at times of great stress.

Agata is also sensitive towards what other people say about her and her views. She is hurt by words and is disheatened by them often. Her selflessness also led her to become secretive about her own feelings and emotions, and often bottles them up to explode. When dealing with people, she always tries to be understanding and patient, but when she knows that she's had enough, she simply tells them off. It can get difficult for Agata to sever ties with other people, but she simply tries to get over it with time.

As bad and as painful as the world may be, the traits she has will not stop her to continue being herself. Agata will continue to engulf others with her warmth, one conversation or psionic blast at a time.

background —

In the hardly silent city of New York, living in a compound with many of Ben's relatives, Agata and her family managed to live a happy, peaceful life. The girl lived simply growing up among other kids her age. Her father was an excellent physician, her mother a regular housewife. Wanda tended to her daughter's needs more often than Ben would, given the circumstances of his job. She had found it almost calming, busying herself with taking care of Agata and her younger sister, Lorian. At a young age, she explored her potential as a swimmer in elementary school. Everything was, somehow, normal. Sokovian became Wanda and her daughters' "thing", Agata being more interested in Wanda's past more than ever. Of course, young Agata had no idea with what her mother's immediate past consisted of. The Avengers were in Agata's history books, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver being in it as well. Agata would sometimes point out her mother's likeness to some sketches people made of Scarlet Witch, almost jokingly. Wanda did not want to hide it from her eldest, though. She only wanted peace for both her daughters--something that she did not experience growing up in terror-stricken Sokovia. Her gifts, still strong as ever, had been dormant and unused for so long, for Wanda no longer saw a use for it.

Agata was happy to be a normal kid growing up. Yet, later in her life, in middle school, her abilities slowly showed. It was almost like an instinct to her, something that was ingrained. Objects around her would oftentimes move when she felt extreme emotions, and sometimes, small, blue waves of energy materialize without her noticing. But Wanda had noticed. Agata had inherited Wanda's gifts, and it made Wanda even more protective of her. Soon, Agata noticed as well. Wanda had told her about her past as Scarlet Witch, as a hero serving the world with her gifts. She started to train her daughter to fight for what she believed in and help other people for the common good, like what she did when she was young. Although Wanda hoped that Agata wouldn't end up being part of the hero business, she wanted her daughter to be knowledgable enough to protect others, and mostly, to protect herself.

High school had gone fast, with Agata still swimming (being really good at it) and training under Wanda's watch. She spent tons of fun with friends and relatives, especially with her younger sister and her cousin, Pietro's child. Agata spent ample time being Ben's helper at his clinic on weekends. She eventually entered Columbia University with a sports scholarship, focusing on a field that the observant Agata was most interested in--psychology. With her almost being out of Wanda's guidance, as a mature young woman, she slowly became visible under SHIELD and the old Avengers' radar. Steve Rogers approached Agata personally when he got the chance, the girl agreeing almost immediately. She saw the young Avengers as an opportunity to grow. After much persuading made by Steve and Agata to a reluctant Wanda, she allowed her daughter to join the group, putting all her trust upon Agata.

Occupation or student — Agatha is a student-athlete at Columbia University in New York. She swims for the university's women's swim team and majors in psychology, minoring in history. In her free time, she still assists her father Ben in his clinic.

family

MOTHER | SCOTT, WANDA (SCARLET WITCH) | ?? | QUIET, RESPONSIBLE, MOTHERLY
— Wanda is typically quiet and reserved. She takes her daughters as her responsibilities and takes them head on. Agata is very close to her mother, bonding with the gifts that they both had as Agata grew up. Wanda taught Agata things she knows now about how to face the world and to save it too. Although Agata is capable enough, Wanda always looks over her to protect her. The woman constantly visits her daughter whenvever she trains, or just on whim when Lorian's away.  Agata appreciates and idolizes her a lot--and she always makes sure she shows it.

FatHER | SCOTT, BeNJAMIN "BEN" [Brian Gleeson]| 49 | KIND, EASY-GOING, INTELLIGENT
— Ben is a kind, easy-going man. An orthopedic surgeon at a public hospital, he also has saving lives for a living, although much confined than that of Agata's, and formerly, his wife's. He is somewhat of a stage father--someone who endlessly supports both his daughters in any contest or battle they're in. Even though he wasn't as hands on as he wanted to be while Agata was growing up, the girl cherishes him because of his great, thoughtful advices. They may spend less time together, but Agata loves him as dearly as she loves her mother.

uncle | MAXIMOFF, PIETRO (QUICKSILVER) | ?? | COCKY, WITTY, UNEXPECTEDLY CARING
— Uncle Pietro was always the life of the party at their family gatherings growing up, as Agata observed. Oftentimes, Wanda and him would fight over the silliest of things, but that made the twins that more endearing to Agata.Pietro was always very caring about family, and perhaps, that passed onto Agata and her sister too. Sure, Pietro had less useful advices than Ben (mostly because he was joking, probably), but he was always there.

younger sister | SCOTT, LORIAN RAY [CONNIE TALBOT] | 13 | SWEET, SMART, GENUINE
— Called "little blue" by some of the members of the new Avengers, Lorian is a girl growing up with her suddenly not so normal family. She hasn't shown signs of powers just yet, but she looks up to Agata a lot. Because of this and many more, Agata takes good care of her and sometimes even picks her up from school.

COUSIN | PIETRO MAXIMOFF'S CHILD | ?? | ???
— The Twins were one of the best combos the world has ever seen. Indeed, Pietro's very own child and Agata get along well--looking after each other in the battlefield like their parents did.

friends

FRIEND | AHN, JINPYO / JIN [JOONMYUN KIM] | 20 | DORKY, BRIGHT, Loud
— Jin is a psychology major at Columbia University and became an acquaintance of Agata at her first year of college. He mostly looked like one of those obnoxious, hollow rich Asian kids on the outside, but Agata knew not to judge him immediately. Agata discovered how much of a big dork he was when they became partners for a paper. When you strip him off his designer clothes and his crazy fangirls, you'll realize that he's just a regular kid who faces the world with a bright smile. Surprisingly, you'll find out that he confides in Agata a lot with his problems, to which Agata gladly listens to.

BEST FRIEND | MANFORD, CLAIRE [KELSEY CHOW] | 20 | ADVENTUROUS, FUNNY, COOL
— Claire and Agata had been friends since middle school, both swimming for different schools in the same region. They agreed on aiming for the same high school, and later the same university to be on the same team. Both of them share a passion for swimming, among other things. Claire is one of the few people Agata can truly confide in and not truly hide from. The only secret Agata's probably hiding from her is the fact that she is on her way to save the universe with other people. Claire is the type that seeks adventure and never backs down a good challenge, may it be a race in swimming or a girl she's attracted to. Funny enough, Claire often tries to set Agata up with other people. She attends Columbia University as a literature major.

who knows how to dismantle a security camera?

alias — Bluejay

Power — Agata's powers mainly stem from Wanda's, with only a few alterations.

  • Psionics — Similar to Scarlet Witch, Agata has gained the ability to harness her mental energy (neuro-electric impulses?) into tangible, psionic energy, which she uses to perform other psionic techniques. Psionic energy generated by Agata have a distinctive blue color, which differ from her mother's red ones. An illuminating ring forms around her pupils when she uses her abilities. Techniques that she uses include:
    • Psionic constructs and blasts — Agata can create objects out of her psionic energy, such as walls, weapons, and beams.
    • Telekinesis  — Agata can control objects through the use of her mind. Currently, the heaviest she can hold is the equivalent of two SUVs.
    • Telepathy — Agata can read the minds of others through touch and through her tangible energy--as long there is a way for her energy to interact with the other person's mind.
    • Mental detection and manipulation — Agata has the ability to sense people's mental energy and detect what they're generally feeling. Due to this, she can also control their minds to feel pain, experience fear, or intense rage, among many emotions.
  • Weaknesses — Although Agata is a strong psionics user, she is susceptible to physical attacks. Specifically, attacks to her head can render her useless for a period of time.

abilities — Agata is an excellent swimmer. She has adequate medical knowhow, shadowing her father in his clinic. To an extent, Agata knows how to fight properly, but is still being taught by some of her teammates.

the team — As Agata grew up without knowing members of the Avengers personally (except from Pietro), she did not know what to expect. Upon meeting them, she grew intrigued by them and eventually liked them. No team is perfect, and they were very far from a team that their parents expected. But Agata trusted herself and her teammates and what they were capable of. Agata knew, in the back of her mind, that whatever challenge the world might throw at her and the young Avengers, she was ready for it.

hey. you know i love you, right?

backup love interest — none!

first meeting — Agata could've seen them around while she had jogged or took the subway to somewhere, or even at the hospital where Ben works. She initiates small talk with them (which can first annoy them--depending on their personality) without asking for their name, noting also that they look like their Avenger parent. When the young Avengers are called, they meet each other for the second time.

interaction — Since Agata likes talking to other people, she's definitely the one who leads the conversation. They talk about anything really, just mostly to de-stress. They simply hang out whenever they're both free, or when something is bothering both of them. Oftentimes, this person helps Agata train her skills at fighting. Agata looks after this person a lot when she realizes she's harbored some kind of feeling already. She starts noticing every move that the person makes and how he or she feels everytime he or she enters the room. Although she may involuntary use her ability to sense someone's mood, Agata can never use her telepathy on the person she likes without his permission.

relationship statusTheir relationship at first is much like that of good friends and coworkers.
