Updates on Life, & Fiction rating question?

If you read my last blog, then you'll know of the scare I had with my dog.

Well, I got the test results from the bat, and it wasn't infected.

SO, my dog is going to be just fine.

I gave him a bath today, and he's going to the vet Monday for his shots.

I'm so relieved.

Also, I got my final Heechul Photo Card in the mail today. I now own every Heechul card that has been released so far, I think. It took me forever to find Mr. Simple Japan. Most people were asking too much money for it. I found it for a really good price. :) I have 14 cards now!

Finally, I have a question on how I should rate a new story I'm working on. It's not going to have any explicit scenes in in, but there may be a few bad words every once in a while. Also, there's hints of ual abuse, but it's never actually shown or described. Should I still rate it M? I feel like it would lead people on if I did. If I don't rate it, can I just put a few warnings in the forward, such as mild language and references to ual abuse? To rate it M, or not? What do you think?

Since it isn't explicit, I wouldn't rate it, but I would put warnings in the foreword. Then maybe at the beginning of specific chapters when those topics are referenced

For the story I think a warning should be enough.

Don't rate it.
Put a warning in the foreword but that's it. Your language isn't going to be strong and the ual abuse is only mentioned relatively vaguely. I see no reason to rate it M.

I think you should rate it because it had mature themes but you should mention it in the beginning so people scrolling through stories can see.

I also wanted to know your opinion on Heechul starting a new instagram. I didn't know if you'd make a new blog post about it or not :S

according to aff rules I think you're /technically/ supposed to put your fics as ratedm if there's language but most people (including me LOL) swear a lot in their fics and don't rate it
as for hints of ual abuse, I'm not entirely sure... I think a trigger warning in the foreword should be fine?

I think you should be able to get away with not rating it. I would most definitely put a warning in the foreward though and possibly put a trigger warning. That's just what I think :)
