Hmm I guess it's like "be careful who you are nice too" but then you don't need to be nice to the people who are rude to you. But sometimes it better to be nice then to retaliate because nothing good will come from acting out. I feel like sometimes you need to know when to stop being nice. Because if you are always giving and u get nothing in return each time then that should be the moment u stop. But if you know that ur kindness might break through someone's walls and help them out then that kindness will be greatly appreciated in the future.
