Kind Of Disappointed

So I've been trying to buy a slot to advertise both of my stories. It's been going... Badly lol. It seems like I just don't have enough karma points. I really didn't want to have to buy any, but it seems like I'll have to anyways :(     

 

Lately I've been promoting my Vixx request shop, but we've only had two requests! It's y because I really wanted to try writing with a set script, giving someone a 'gift' sort of. So ... Yeah :(

And finally, I'm just going to learn how to drive because I'm constantly waiting on people to take me places and I'm sick of it. But that means I'll have to buy a car as well and I didn't really want the responsibility of having one. So it's a sort of sad day but not really, I'm just complaining... Sorry for the boring post guys :)

I'm sorry this is happening to you. Hopefully everything works out. I am in the same boat as you with driving. I plan to learn but i keep putting it off.

I accidentally came across this blog post but I ended up reading it. I've gotta tell you that I completely understand. I felt utterly frustrated the first time I tried to advertise a story. I started out with 2000 karma points and I struggled for a long time. My friends helped me a lot by sending me more points and even when I bid 7000 I couldn't get a slot. As I recall I eventually got a slot by over 10,000 karma points. It took me a lot of time to get to that point and I did want to give up but I still tried so hang in there. Once a story gets advertised then you will find it more easy to get karma points and your second bidding will be much easier than the first :) I'm saying out of experience, as I've advertised stories more than 5 times now.

You know commenting will bring those karma points to you. You don't have to make anything elaborate for your comment. "Great update. I enjoyed this." Will seem to do the trick. It benefits you as well as the author...

Learning how to drive can be a downer no doubt. I am still learning.
