♕ Gaeul has a doll-like face - complete with doe eyes, a sharp nose and full lips. Despite having her face fixed a little (hello, double eyelids!), all her other assets are s, and she's proud of them. Her hair is really long - it goes down to her waist. She dyes it a lot too (even without needing to); orange, light brown, but her natural hair color is dark brown. She doesn't like hurting herself but she likes the look of tattoos, so she uses temporary ones on her wrists. She has a scar on the top of her right hand from burning herself when she was seven years old. Gaeul likes casual, but cute clothes, but she's never the one who the other trainees look for when they need fashion advice ('cause she's has a 'weird style' [Gaeul doesn't get it, guys!]).

♕ Where to start? Gaeul is just a simple gal, really. Aside from being a little bonkers, of course. You can call her a little ball of positivity. Even if she's sick or left alone somewhere, she still always stays on the bright side. Once she was stuck in an elevator, and even though she was alone (and a little scared, ofc), she held on to that thought that it was going to be okay. That, and thinking about rainbows. Literally. Besides being anti-pessimistic, she's really determined in setting goals. It doesn't have to be the big things though. Just small stuff, like taking a bath at 10 after getting home or studying languages by herself when she has free time. She likes to think that she will be able to achieve big things by doing the small ones first. With that, she's really responsible with the things that are given to her. Even in minor orders, Gaeul makes sure to exert her best effort. Like when their manager asks her to buy water for everyone at 7/11 down the block, she makes sure that she follows the older's order well, being swift and precise. Being like that, you can say that she really gets passionate and fired up (in a good way) over a lot of things. Besides that, Gaeul is also really affectionate. She doesn't notice, but her actions and words towards people come out sincerely and fondly (therefore, sometimes others mistaken her liking them, but she's only got eyes for one person, come on!). She's touchy in a clueless way as well. It doesn't even come across her mind even if her hand is on a guy's thigh (she gets a lot of trouble because of this ahem ahem jealousy). She slings her arms around her members' necks a lot, and she also hugs them from behind, holds their hands and hooks her arm around theirs.

♕ Now on to Gaeul's flaws. No one is perfect, after all. As much as she's responsible, she's also domineering. Being determined, she can't help but feel that passion in her heart to be one step ahead of others. Oftentimes, when given a group task, she feels like she needs to be the leader, so she tries to take the matter in her hands. Therefore, in this way, she's also kind of careless. She doesn't think a lot. Whatever goes through her head, she voices out. Meaning if Gaeul thinks Lea's bracelet is kind of weird, she'll say so (she often earns beatings in return, jokingly, of course; her members know that she's normally like this so they just joke about it). After realizing she said something rude though, she'll get embarrassed immediately and apologize. She's indifferent in a way that's a little bit better than being blunt. Besides this, she's also very nosy. Gaeul is infamous for sticking her nose into others' businesses. She can't help her "natural curiosity" though. Her carelessness often works with her nosiness. Meaning, if she's wondering about someone, she'll immediately go to that person and ask him/her all about it. Gaeul is also a tattletale. If someone messes with her (jokingly or not), she tells on them. For instance, if one of the trainees tell a superior about something "wrong" she did, Gaeul will retort back, voicing something that trainee did, too.

 LIKES 

♕ NAil polish : she has over fifty different shades, and she often spends her money on them
♕ music : ballad and r&b are her favorites, despite her exterior
♕ Coffee : she loves coffee, especially the instant ones, but she doesn't drink everyday, because it's bad for her health
♕ running man : if she has free time (when she's lazy and doesn't want to do something productive like studying), she turns on the television and tunes in to Running Man (she loves the Monday Couple!)
♕ junk food : I know, she's a hypocrite, but if she can stay away from coffee, she can't stay away from snacks like Lay's and Pringles

♕ insects : she absolutely hates bugs, especially the big ones

♕ gaining weight : she can't stay away from junk food but weight gain!!! seriously
♕ short nails : she's kind of shallow, she knows, but short nails are not her eyecandy, especially when she likes painting longer nails

 BACKGROUND 

♕ Gaeul was born in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, South Korea, and has been residing there ever since 1996. Her father, a business man, is married to a previous accountant. After having her older sister Gain (not Gain from B.E.G) and Gaeul, she retired and became a housewife instead. Her parents aren't really strict with their children's choice to be in the future, but they're certainly worried and want the best for the both of them. Being a business man, Mr. Yoon also wanted either one of them to be into business like him, but because they're interested in other fields, he just accepted what they wanted because he would rather the two of them to pick what they liked. Before though, Gaeul didn't know what she wanted to be, so she opted to become a business woman like her father.

♕ From the start, Gaeul was already intoxicated because of music. She listened mostly to foreign music, but slowly, as the K-Pop craze spread, she also became a fan of different groups. But what got her attention most was Super Junior. It was in the "It's You" era when she spotted her older sister watching the music video. What started out from being a fan of Eunhyuk gave way to a dream she unconciously yearned for. Shortly after becoming an Elf, she became a Shawol, and then a MeU (though, back in 2009, f(x) had no fandom name). She became interested in dancing, and she attempted several dances like NuAbo, Into the New World and Supa Dupa Diva with her sister. It developed her interest and skill, so she became addicted with dancing. Slowly, she learned different dances, and she also learned to appreciate different genres of music. 

♕ Getting into Starship, though, was not orginally her choice. She had no intention to audition and become an idol. Gaeul only wanted to be a choreographer or a teacher in a dancing school. But both fortunately and unfortunately for her, Gain persuaded her into auditioning once she saw that they were holding an audition near Gwanghwamun. "What can possibly happen if you just audition once? Come on, Gaeul! You're literally a hidden gem! They'll love you." She continued to pester and pester her until Gaeul finally had enough and decided to audition. Doing what she does best, she danced and showcased her okay singing skills (thanks a lot, karaoke). Even if Gaeul didn't really want to audition from the start, she slowly found herself worrying a lot with her song choice and practicing until late nights. When she got accepted, she realized that she indeed wanted to go to this path. Until now Gain is still bugging her to treat her to somewhere fancy because she was the one who "carved the path out for her".

 FAMILY 

♕ father : Yoon Jinsang (FC - Lee Pilmo) || 49 || Business Man || Austere, but actually playful, lighthearted and protective || As a father, naturally he wants the best for his daughters. Even though he's really open for them to make their own decisions, he's still really protective, always looking out for them. In this way he really shows his loves for his family. He jokes around a lot, but as much as he's like that, he's also serious when he needs to be. He often watches the television so he knows a lot of politics and business, thus he teaches Gaeul and Gain whenever he has the chance.

♕ MOTHER : Yoon Jinae (FC - Kim Sung Ryung) || 45 || Housewife (Retired accountant) || Easygoing, naggy, chic || For a mother, she's chic, and she likes to appear cool in front of everyone. Inside though, she still has a little dorkiness to her. Just like any mother, she nags a lot, but it's only because she cares a lot for her daughters. She often scolds and chides Gaeul for having "no fashion sense" (to which the latter pouts at). Thus, she's the one who buys her clothes. Otherwise, they have a lighthearted relationship, sometimes Gaeul jokes around with her and sometimes they have serious talks.

♕ older sister : Yoon Gain (FC - Kim Jiwon) || 22 || Medical Student || Stubborn, humorous, caring || Gain and Gaeul has always been stuck to the hip ever since they were little kids. They don't know if it's the small , or if it's just really their personalities. Gain acts like she doesn't pay attention to Gaeul much, but she's actually no. 1 in the "How well do you know Gaeul" test. They are usually playful with each other, but Gaeul treats her as a confidant as well, telling her everything, especially when it's about boys or if she's having problems.

 FRIENDS 

♕ best friend : Kim Mihyun (Mimi) || 21 || Singer (Oh My Girl) || childish, protective, boyish || Mimi and Gaeul had met in school. Having the same dream and interest (w/c is dance), they became close instantly. Despite Mimi being a year older than Gaeul, they treat each other like siblings. Only, the younger treats her like a brother. Mimi is a little rough (especially to people she doesn't know), but she's really caring and playful once she met her. Mimi loves teasing Gaeul, and when they meet, they listen to music and learn dances together. She's also Gaeul's second confidant.

♕ same aged friend / SCary tutor : Eleanor Carter (Lea) || 20 || Trainee || determined, sensitive, blunt || Gaeul likes to think that she's her "same aged friend". Maybe it's because of their age that they get along pretty well. When they're together, Lea's craziness rubs off Gaeul, so the latter can't help but be weird with her. They have the strangest conversations, like "Oh, your underwear is blue, too! Is this destiny?". Lea is also Gaeul's English teacher, but the latter's laziness always kicks in so she always get hit for being uncooperative.

♕ close oppa : Lee Jooheon || 22 || Singer (Monsta X) || Easygoing, reliable, playful || Despite being two years older, he actually acts like he's just the same age as Gaeul. They had met because they're in the same company and he appeared as a guest in "Amen". Through so much opportunities, they became acquaintances until they had hit it off. Despite his cold exterior, he's actually really warm and reliable. Gaeul thinks of him an older brother who protects her. She goes to him for advices and tips sometimes. Jooheon teases her every chance he gets, though. But when someone messes with Gaeul, he's gonna turn serious. 

 OTHERS 

♕ role model : Kim Jinhwan || 22 || Singer (iKON) || humble, kind, sincere || Gaeul doesn't know him personally, but ever since WIN, Jinhwan has caught her eye. Him being so great in dancing and singing inspired her to become better and to become more like him. His personality on screen is also really admirable. He's so well-mannered, and it doesn't hurt that he's also really handsome. If ever she has the chance, she wants to meet Jinhwan.

♕ respected senior : Yoo Kihyun || 23 || Singer (Monsta X) || more collected than the other guys, hardworking, kind || If Gaeul needed to pick an ideal type from her company, it would be Kihyun (sorry Joohoney). His singing is just so admirable, and he's so kind, too. Gaeul has a little crush on him, but it's just a "I-really-respect-you" crush. Unlike Jinhwan, he's actually tangible because he's from the same company as her, but she keeps her distance from him because she thinks he's someone out of her reach (and she's scared she'll "taint his image").

TRAINEE LIFE

♕ Starship was the first and last company Gaeul was ever going to join. In the four years that she was there, the company has been nothing but family to her. Sure, there were a few hateful trainees that didn't get along with her, but Gaeul tried to befriend as much as possible as she didn't like having enemies. Of course, at first, she had a hard time adjusting. Because she was new, no one really paid attention to her. She was all alone when she ate and practiced. Even though she was surrounded by trainees, she still felt like she was lonely because she knew no one personally.

♕ Soon though, Gaeul became comfortable with the thought of being alone. She grew used to it. She had acquaintances, but she never really became close with anyone. When the other trainees saw her dance though, they were really amazed. A few even approached her to learn. Some trainees told her that they wanted to go befriend her but because she looked intimidating, they couldn't find the courage to. Gaeul realized that it was her isolation that made them stay away from her from the start, so she tried to become friendlier and brighter. In her second year at Starship, she finally made more than a few friends.

♕ The reason why she trained for a long period of time? She doesn't know why, but she has an idea. Gaeul was told that she was really diligent and responsible in a lot of aspects, but she was also told that she didn't have unity with others. She got so used to practicing alone and doing everything by herself that she couldn't mix well with the trainees. So now Gaeul is trying hard to talk more with them so that she could get closer to them. Overall, she really likes the ambiance, the system and the people in Starship. She wants to make sure that she debuts there before dying.

♕ In everything he does, Lee Jihoon is always earnest. He makes sure that he doesn't joke around in the tasks that are given to him. For Jihoon, everything has to have something sincere poured into them to become beautiful. He's really passionate, especially in his work. When he produces songs, he often forgets everything around him and is really focused. He wants every song he produces to be perfect. If he notices just a really small thing he doesn't like, he changes it. He's always striving to be the best he can be. Sometimes he can be really weird, though. One moment he's serious, but at the next he's suddenly all smiles and playful. Jihoon is bipolar, and his mood can change in a snap. Most of the time, he's really blank, though. He thinks a lot, unlike Gaeul. He's thoughtful, and he's always sincere. Jihoon, overall, is a really good guy. He's nice when he's not in the studio, and he does his best to help everybody.

♕ As much as he's sincere though, he's also really scary. He gets angry quickly, and trust me, he's going to chase you with a guitar if you irk him. Jihoon has this really intimidating blank look on his face when he's angry, and you just know, because the next moment, he's going to snap at you and attack you with every flaw he can think of. It's really easy to tick him off, but if you don't want to get killed, I suggest that you don't mess with this guy. He's small, but he has a big anger management issue. Jihoon is also domineering, like Gaeul. Especially when he's monitoring SEVENTEEN, his eyes are really sharp, and he's quick to judge and command. He's scary, so it's kind of a given that you have no choice but to comply with his orders. In this way, he can also be possessive or to put it simply, sensitive. Try to say something wrong to him, and he'll quickly put his guard up. He's also easily jealous, but the only way you can know is when he ignores you or when he just gives you a hard, blank stare.

 LOVE STORY 

♕ Woozi had met Gaeul way back in school. They were both in the same class, but they weren't friends. Rather, they just respected each other. She felt scared of him, though. His stares were intimidating, even though his face was cute. Gaeul avoided him every chance she got. Woozi, on the other hand, was taken aback. He felt kind of... conscious? Was he some kind of germ? Yes, he did notice her running away from him. He felt kind of hurt, because why was she avoiding him? Anyway, he thought that she was simply judgemental. He didn't often go to school because of schedules. He was already stressed at the company, and he certainly didn't want to be stressed at school either.

♕ The next time he met Gaeul was when he had bumped into Jooheon in a coffee shop. He was with Hoshi then, when they were buying drinks for the members because they had lost in a game he regretted joining in. Gaeul was with Jooheon because he wanted to treat her to something after practice. "Hyung!" Hoshi had exclaimed, shocked that they would meet coincidentally in a cafe. Woozi was as surprised as him, seeing Jooheon and Gaeul together. He just put on a smile though. Being close friends, Jooheon started to bump his shoulder with theirs in greeting as he grinned. They talked goodnaturedly, but Gaeul was shying away behind Jooheon. Oh, no, it's Woozi. She thought nervously. Jooheon introduced her to them, and them to her, but they didn't know that the both of them were classmates. Woozi gave her a curt nod as a greeting and Gaeul just returned a meek smile. It was simply agonizing.

♕ After that encounter, they suddenly found themselves bumping into each other more often. Whether it be at school, at the mall or just in the streets! And in all of those, Gaeul tried to pretend she didn't see him. To say the least, Woozi was frustrated. Why is she avoiding me? Does she hate me? He just thought, slowly being fed up until he texted her.

'It's Woozi. I know it's weird to ask this out of the blue, but am I some kind of disease? Why are you avoiding me? I'm... I'm just frustrated. And curious.' - Woozi

Immediately after seeing the text, Gaeul dropped her phone, horrified. Oh my gosh. He noticed! She thought, guilty.

'I'm sorry. I'm just scared of you. And no, you're not some kind of disease.
Plase don't be angry.' - Gaeul

Woozi read her text, and he actually let out a laugh. See how bipolar this boy is. He thought it was kind of funny that she was scared of him.

'Yah, we've been in the same class for three years. I don't bite.
Unless you've actually seen me bite?' - Woozi

'Actually, no... but you're just really scary. You have that thing
they call 'resting bish face'.' - Gaeul

♕ That's how they became closer. Really, it just started because Gaeul was avoiding him. Unknowingly, they started texting each other more. Whenever they saw each other, they actually acknowledge each other by smiling. Woozi just found her really amusing. He often texted her when he needed a breather, a laugh or just... a friend. Gaeul texted him whenever she wanted someone to talk to, too. When they meet at school, they found themselves talking to each other about random stuff, like their careers, their lives or school.

♕ Their relationship grew to the point where they met up with each other. Whenever they do meet, Woozi asks her for advice with his songs, and they both listen to a lot of music. They share their favorite songs and artists. Sometimes, they learn dances together, too. Woozi likes making fun of Gaeul a lot, though. He teases her, sometimes he treats her as his confidant. All of his worries and problems seem like they're nothing when he tells her all of them. Gaeul just puts up with his playful remarks and teases him back, too. Basically, they're just really close friends. For now, at least. (Truthfully they just don't realize their feelings for each other, until Woozi becomes a little jealous monster and... you know the drill, Michi~ <3)

♕ Woozi basically likes spending time with her, because when he's with her, it's like they're in a different part of the world. It's like... he's not Woozi of Seveneen. Rather, he's just Lee Jihoon. Plain Lee Jihoon. Gaeul, on the other hand, feels like she was meant to be close friends with Woozi. She just really likes how they click together. She's actually even thankful that she avoided him before, even though it was embarrassing. Because it's what brought them together from the start.
