❄ What's going on with those two? + Her curiosity is what gets her so much dislike. Jaena follows everyone she thinks that has the potential to be in the newspaper or her website (to be explained later). Gossip. That's what she wants. She wants to show what all of them are concealing to the whole school population. Using her hawk eyes and ears, Jaena follows them sneakily. She observes sharply, her camera tight in her grasp. She kissed him. Snap. Her small eyes catch that equally small detail; the guy's hand on Dasom's behind. Snap. She quickly runs away after taking a few satisfactory shots. Yes, she thinks happily. Her happiness is quite shallow. With a few snaps of her camera she feels like she's floating on clouds. Even though she may look like she can't see much, she perceives a lot with those small eyes of hers. Standing far away with her eyes watching their every movement is her specialty. She makes sure that she gets all the juicy stuff. Otherwise you'd find her beating herself up countless times. Literally.
❄ No, these scraps have use. I can utilize them. + Amidst all of the 'piggy' remarks that Jaena tries to ignore, she's actually kind of optimistic. She hates feeling upset, to be quite honest. Even if she has to conceal disappointment, she'd do it. In some kind of way it's partly why she's eager to help. Whenever she'd see someone (and yes, even the ones who mock and call her 'piggy') struggling with what they're holding or doing, she'd automatically help. As shallow as she may be, she finds a sense of relief and happiness when she helps someone. It's... strangely comforting. Also, when she's really set on doing something, she gets very fired up. Jaena puts every bit of her effort into everything that is handed to her. Even if the teacher gives her such a small task of getting chalk from the supply room, she makes sure that she efficiently makes use of the time in delivering it. She doesn't know why and where her ambition comes from. Heck, she doesn't even care if her teacher gets mad at her or if she fails. It just doesn't make sense to her why she's so willing to do tasks well, but who's complaining? Certainly not her.
❄ You have no right to talk to me that way. + Even if it doesn't look like it, Jaena easily gets hurt. It'd be a big, fat lie if she said that those hurled 'piggy' remarks didn't affect her. She actually hates it. And how she's so weak. As much as she hates feeling upset, she secretly cries by herself when she's at home. She always looks at the mirror, pinches her 'fats' and blames herself for eating so much. Honestly though, she would hate to go on a diet. It's not really flattering. And she'd just give Jooheon the satisfaction of minding his words. She'd hate that even more. Maybe that's why she's quickly angered. Seeing them mock her annoys her as much as it hurts her. But when they go over the line she had drawn for herself, then she'd really go ballistic. So far it had only been one time - when Jooheon had insulted her family. She yelled at him, her fists tightly clenched. She threw a punch or two, and it wasn't even funny because the prankster actually bled! His nose, to be more exact. Jooheon was quite scared for a very brief moment, but that's a secret. When she gets angry she's really scary. And she holds grudges against people. Do something wrong to her, and she'll remember you. Maybe you'll find your face in her site the next morning.
❄ Please~ Answer my questions and I'll really stop. + Now on to her character while searching for the next front page star. No one can beat her when she's set on someone. Honestly she had followed every single boy with her in the squad (except for Jooheon of course and Minhyuk). She annoyed the heck out of all of them (yes, even quiet Hyunwoo). Wonho almost hit her for being so nosy. Jaena is just really determined though. You can't exactly blame the girl, but she really is annoying. If she makes her decision of featuring you on the newspaper (and secretly in her site), she'd relentlessly follow you everywhere. Sometimes she hides, sometimes she doesn't. She'd ask you a countless amount of questions that she had prepared (and some are really ridiculous; like, who asks someone what their favorite underwear color is!) and pester you until you answer her questions. Her camera is in her grasp every minute of the day, so be prepared because she can instantly snap a photo of you. And you can't even think of getting rid of her - she will never give up until she gets what she wants. She's as stubborn as a rock.

BACKGROUND + FAMILY LIFE —
❄ In a surreal mansion somewhere in Mokpo, Seoul, South Korea lived the Jung household. Ever since Jaena was a baby, she had received nothing but love from her parents. She was an only child, so she was naturally spoiled. She was so blessed to have the CEO of Kia as her father and a dedicated housewife as her mother. He was crazy busy, but the best thing about him was that he made time for his family. Jaena really liked that about her warm-hearted father - that no matter how much things got busy, Mr. Jung always regarded them as his first priority. Her mother was always home with her, so she wasn't lonely. They loved her so much, and she herself often saw that.
❄ Growing up, she had everything that she asked for. "Mommy, I want that Barbie doll." She would say, and she often got what she wanted. Even though she had a hundred of them already, she still received it. Maybe that's what shaped her to be so sensitive and persistent as she became older. She was really spoiled, no hiding that fact. Even though she didn't show it often, Jaena was really thankful to her parents. They were never the fussy ones who argued or got angry at her for buying another Barbie doll or failing a test. They were always kind to her and considerate to the point that Jaena wanted them to become angry at her even once. But they never did, because they loved her so much even if she always got a C on her tests or bought her hundredth camera for the year. That was kind of frustrating for Jaena, so she thinks about it every once in a while. She would hate to be ungrateful though, but sometimes, it honestly makes her sad.
RELATIONSHIPS —
❄ Sunbae who's too nice for his own good + Son Hyunwoo <19> — Senior — timid, courteous, considerate — Jaena had always admired him from afar. Hyunwoo was just the epitome of a great student. He was kind and gentle in his actions, and she liked that about him. She just pestered him once because she was actually kind of intimidated (partly because of his huge built, but mostly because of his saint-like personality that gave her chills [who knew when the bomb would go off]). She wanted an interview with him because he was the best player in the basketball team, and she was glad 'cause he gave her answers just after thirty minutes of following him.

❄ A friend that doesn't seem like a friend + Lee Minhyuk <18> — Junior — dettached, indifferent, silent — As a same-aged co-worker (co-team worker?), Jaena likes to think that they became somewhat like friends (not too far like an acquaintance but not too close like a good friend). They're both working for Daejeon Star to become a big hit in school, and Jaena thinks that they should have harmony to be able to produce a great paper, but Minhyuk certainly doesn't think so. He rarely talks to her, but sometimes he approaches her to ask questions and the like. After saying what he needs to say, he just walks away, but Jaena tries to be-friend him just because.

❄ B4st4rd who I will never like + Lee Jooheon <17> — Sophomore — bright, risk-taking, attention-seeking — Jaena hates him with a passion. She swears Jooheon never grows up - even in the two years that he's been continuously receiving punishments and detentions. He's a year younger than her, but he's not exactly respectful. He calls her 'piggy noona' and talks to her formally but the way he does it seems like he's mocking her instead of respecting. Jooheon likes to pester her a lot (thus, the Kihyun 2.0 persona) and as much as she hates it, every word that comes out from his mouth goes into her ears really clearly. However, Jaena tries not too mind him too much because she knows that he's just doing it for laughs. If he goes too far though, who can stop her from shooting never-ending curses to this prankster?

❄ Sunbae that I rarely see + Shin Hoseok <19> — Senior — cocky, faithful, nonchalant — Hoseok is often graffiting the walls somewhere in the school and is always MIA. Jaena, honestly, doesn't know much about him. She's rather really indifferent when it comes to him. She only knows his face, what he's known for and that he's a senior. Other than those she doesn't really know his personality (maybe except that he's irritable). Jaena truthfully didn't know where to find him when she wanted him as the new face of her site (his friendship with Hyungwon was obviously big news) so she asked around, and someone finally told her that he was behind the school. Hoseok was stubborn, so she didn't really get him to say anything about their situation. Plus, she was kind of scared of him. His muscles were surprisingly threatening.

❄ Too-good looking seatmate + Chae Hyungwon <18> — Junior — uncertain, desolate, soft-hearted — How can Jaena miss her seatmate? She always feels like someone's drilling a hole behind her head because of the glares that girls are giving her. For some reason her teachers are always pairing them both (most probably it's because she's one of the few females who don't flirt with him every chance they get). Presumably, he's the closest to her out of all the guys in the squad. Unlike some, he's actually rational to talk to, and he's somehow kind of nice. He asks her when he doesn't get the lesson (surprisingly, but it's 'cause he has no one to ask) or when he couldn't listen for their homework. If not for the fact that his fangirls keep killing her over and over again with their stares, he would've been perfect.

❄ Oblivious handsome kid + Im Changkyun <16> — Freshman — awkward, collected, respectful — Honestly, Jaena is really glad that the kid is new. If he had heard those ugly things that Jooheon loudly declared about her, she would have dug a hole and hid there for a long time. It's been a while since she had liked someone, but when she saw him for the first time, she was immediately smitten. He was exactly her type. His slightly rough features and his light-heartedness totally caught her attention. His voice was somewhat deep, but to Jaena it was really charming.
"Hi! You're the new student, right? My name is Jaena. I'm one of the editors
for the paper. I hope we'll get along. *shaking his hand while grinning really widely*"
❄ Pitiful nerd who's also being victimized by sh!thead + Yoo Kihyun <18> — Junior — wise, vengeful, impatient — Kihyun and Jaena are practically on the same boat, having stupid Jooheon take advantage of them. They have some classes together, and from what she has perceived, he's kind of arrogant, but he's really smart and thoughtful. They're not exactly friends; they're more like acquaintances who smile at each other. Jaena likes to think that they have a silent agreement of getting revenge on the red-head, and she's right because Kihyun suddenly approaches her when he has already formulated a plan.

❄ Talented kid who doesn't care about anything + Oh Haeyoung <16> — Freshman — ignorant, smart, level-headed — If anything, Haeyoung is that one kid who Jaena doesn't want to bother. The younger one actually kind of scares her, because even though she's petite and seems harmless, Jaena has heard a lot of things (bad ones) about her, such as she's rude, icy, b!tchy and many other scary adjectives. She has never talked to her before though, and she plans to let it stay that way (but because of stupid Jooheon they're in the same freaking squad for who knows long?!?!). Jaena is not really the type to judge people according to rumors, but Haeyoung is one scary kid. Did I mention that she's scary? Sigh... what a scary child.

REASONS THEY GOT THE POSITION —
❄ Jaena is not, in any way, good at physical stuff. She's as stiff as a bamboo stick, and the reason why she's a backspot is because of Jooheon's stupid reasoning (and prolly everybody's silent agreement) that she can probably carry an elephant (an exaggeration, but he's obviously pointing out her weight and inexperience with flexibility).
