Physical traits: Xiaojian is known for his pretty foreign appearance, and he takes a lot of pride in his looks. Xiaojian is the most appearance-conscious member of Varia and doesn't hide it. He has super pale skin from rarely going outside (He's always in buildings) and it's probably the healthiest skin Kingdom Entertainment's ever seen. He takes very good care of it with all-natural products and attention. His hair is always died blonde nowadays, though he's considering heading back to his natural brown soon. Xiaojian tends to keep his hair a bit longer than many men do, because he thinks really short hair looks pretty awful on him. It's thick and glossy and healthy, just the way he likes it. He has very oddly-shaped eyes, only almond when he starts to close them. Otherwise, they're flat at the top eyelid and round at the bottom. He has a very prominEnt ADAM'S APPLE WHICH HE CAN MOVE FREELY. hE WORKS OUT A LOT SO xIAOJIAN HAS A SIX-PACK AND DESPITE SMALL-LOOKING ARMS HE HAS SOME NICE BICEPS. Overall Xiaojian's pretty lean, and super tall. His lips are thin, but a pretty petal pink.

pHYSICAL MARKINGS: He has a dent in his right eyebrow from when he was twelve and was running in his house, only to slip and slam his face into a corner. First it was an indent for an hour straight, then it swelled up twice his size and was bruised for three weeks, and then it became a permenant tiny dent in his face that is only really seen when he moves his eyebrows (Read: All the time). He has a scar on his inner right elbow from when he was nine and cooking. He reached for something across the counter and accidentally sliced it. The experience was pretty scary considering Xiaojian was home alone and almost bled to death, but he doesn't mind it nowadays.

Plastic surgery: He will openly admit that he's had plastic surgery should the company allow. Why? Because he's no ashamed of what he had done to make himself feel more beautiful, not to mention how common it is nowadays. Xiaojian's had very minor double eyelid surgery- He didn't want this to be too obvious, he thinks slight double eyelids are the prettiest. He's also had his nose done, though he's not too happy with the end result, the plastic surgeon messed up a bit and now his nostrils are somewhat uneven. Xiaojian has also had a jaw shave, but this too was not major, very slight since he's naturally skinny anyway. He wanted both sides to be even. He's also had laminate veneers just to be save.

Other body modificationS: He's has admittedly had work done in a few places, be it plastic surgery, piercings, his tattoos, he's kinda a troublemaker in that sense. He has two tattoos, one a small flower on the inside of his left thigh and the outline of a cat on his left heel/ankle (They will be explained later). The flower is various shades of purple and black, while the cat is pure black. Xiaojian got these done illegally, but it doesn't bother him one bit, a very small number of people know about them anyway, Varia doesn't even know. Though seemingly random, the two tattoos are highly interconnected and mean a lot to him. He has five piercings on his right ear and four on the left (He doesn't have the upper ear piercing on the left), and he got these through the past five years, one new pair per year, though he only got one this year.

style ; First thing's first- Xiaojian always wears socks that cover his ankle/heel tattoo, you'll never find him without them. Showering? He'll wear layers of patches over it and his thigh tattoo so if anyone walks in they can't see. His stlye is very lowkey despite being absolutely fashion-obsessed. He prefers skinny jeans and designer sweaters more than anything, if I'm to be honest. He likes to look "carelessly" wonderful, though he actually puts hours of thoughts into each and every piece of clothing he buys and wears. If it's a special occasion, Xiaojian will change out of that sweater into a classy button-up. Boots, sneakers, sandals, whatever fits the style and weather. He doesn't go anywhere without basic makeup such as foundation, eyeliner, etc. He's one for few but eye-catching accessories such as these rings or hat.

personality ; Confidence is key, and Xiaojian is proof of this. He's confident in his looks, personality, and abilities, yet isn't conceited in the slightest even though everyone jokes about him being so. He simply knows the truth abotu himself and doesn't see the point in feeling you're lacking things when the extent is small. He knows he has improving to do but he's confident he'll be able to do so.  His biggest wish is that everyone could share in his confidence, and he will make it happen, that's all he wants. Xiaojian never rarely brags about his talents and achievments, but he easily could and everyone knows it- That's part of his biggest charm, being confident but not showy (Unless he's on a variety show, where he's totally a show-off). He's very charismatic, both on stage on off. It's natural that he draws attention to himself, with his total confidence and air of youth. He's always got this something about him that draws everyone's eyes to him- He definitely exudes the most stage presence out of Varia, he can't help but shine, especially when dancing. His eyes hold a lit fire that few can really match (Did anyone get the pun--) and he's proud of it. He knows how to show his best sides and this is beyond captivating. Your gender or preference does not matter, he breaks it all with one charismatic wink.

He's always been a very flexible person, ignoring his physical flexibility, Xiaojian is adaptive, and is up for changes in plans like no other. Variety is truly the spice of life, and things suddenly changing up is nothing less than exciting to him- It doesn't shake his strong foundation. HE CAN DEAL EASILY WITH CHANGES OF PLANS, and cancellations are nothing. Where for many people last-minute changing can mess them all up, Xiaojian not only survives these, but even thrives on such rocky conditions. He adapts to all new situations and environments- Kibum often jokes that he would have a high fitness level (Biology, if you don't know it describes the likelyhood of an organism to live were conditions to change). Part of this adaptibility comes from his alertness. Xiaojian is never truly on the down-low, never truly relaxed. He's always observing and taking in the information he sees. Many people claim he's paranoid, but truthfully he's just curious and worries about others. Because of this, he's the first to know when something's wrong for off with someone because he's intuitive. He detects mood changes in an instant and is constantly aware of his surroundings.

This intuivity makes him very social, because he wants to know everything about everyone so he can help them. It's interesting, watching him interact with everyone because he seems to always know exactly what to do even when one won't admit that there is something wrong. His socialness gives him an air of youth, and he has many of the ideals of that generation. Xiaojian is very interesting in that sense, he's mature to an extent, but still young enough that he fits in well. This youth makes him spontaneous- He likes to make last minute decisions and roll with them. Xiaojian's a spur-of-the-moment kind of guy, he doesn't think, just does. He, much like his older brother, is extremely into fashion. He's always up-to-date with the latest trends and help out the less fashion-smart members. It's just something he loves to do. However, Xiaojian has a small problem with letting things go. He's very sentimental, and everything he owns feels important to him. This of course could never stop him from being the playful soul he is. He likes to play little pranks, a few jokes here and there, some minor rough-housing, it's all in good fun, but some people are uncomfortable with how touchy-feely he gets while playing. He's quite sassy, also much like his brother, and is quite well-known for it. He has a a whole stash of one-liners.

Xiaojian is very meddlesome. He likes to get into other people's business and doesn't realze when he should out. If he sees someone falling for another, he take it upon himself to play cupid and get them together, even if he's told to leave it alone. That's the thing, he never leaves it alone. If he thinks someone's hiding something, he always investigates his suspicions wven when he shouldn't and is the queen of sticking his nose where it's not wanted. He doesn't see a problem with it, unfortunately. He's very deceptive when it comes down to it, he doesn't have a problem lying to get whatever information he needs. He doesn't mind being dishonest and easily will trick you into saying what he wanted to hear. It's a very awful habit, because he doesn't see the point in changing it. He'll tell you want you want him to say if in return he'll get to know what he wants. Xiaojian learned to lie from the best, anyway, so it's not particularly easy to catch him in his web of lies, so good luck. He covers his tracks. He's easily distracted, so be warned, it takes him a lot to be focused. Luckily he's a quick learner or he'd never remember his lines or the choreography.

He doesn't like to stay in one place and it's often that he asks you to repeat things. Xiaojian tends to be very reactive to situations. He's always the first to cry, the first to laugh, the first to back away, he's very open with his emotions. Xiaojian's expressive when he's allowed to be, and this reactions are often at bad times. He gets angry really easily, and has total meltdowns much more often than the other members. He also tends to explode at them more for dumb things. Xiaojian isn't afraid of his emotions, so he shows them loud and clear even though most of the time these days that's a bad thing. It's been years since anyone's really cracked down in Xioajian, so he's unrestrained because no one told him to act otherwise. No one had any idea what they were getting into with him, and they were qiuite surprised at the attitude they recieved. Truthfully, he's just jealous of all the perfect families he sees and needs to act out, even if he doesn't realize it. It's his release from all of the stress, loss, and hell he's endured through the years.

background ; Jīn Xiaojian was born over eighteen years ago in one of China's biggest cities to a Chinese mother and Korean father. His father was always working in Korea so it was basically up to his mother to raise him. It's not like his father was constantly absent in his life- No, he visisted fairly often and did enough things with him, but it was mostly all his mother. Xiaojian was happy with life, however- His mother was amazing. She did her best to raise him and make him happy, even though sometimes she wore herself out too much. Xiaojian was aware, however, that his life was painfully ordinary otherwise: He went to school, made friends, was taken care of mother, and went to sleep. The one unconstant was his father, but many people had absent fathers to some extent. Because of that, his nine-year-old self decided he needed a new hobby besides ice skating, which he temporarily did competitively at seven before just making it a fun activity. What could he possibly choose, though? After asking around his friends, Xiaojian asked him mom to sign him up for dance classes. Not only was it somewhat similar to ice skating, but he had a sort of innate talent for it. And thus he started dance classes at a small dance school that taught a total of twenty students. There, he practiced all types of dances- Hip hop, pop, ballet, tap, he was shocked at how many types of dances there were, honestly. He was always one of the best in his class, and was really happy. Life in China was great for him, he never felt excluded from anything and really felt like he fit. EVENTUALLY, HIS MOTHER GOT A JOB THAT HAD HER WORKING LATE NIGHTS, BUT HE'D ALWAYS STAY UP, WAITING FOR HER. oNE TIME, THOUGH, SHE NEVER CAME BACK. iT WAS ELEVEN AT NIGHT, HE WAS WAITING FOR HER AS ALWAYS, EXPECTING HER TO BE THERE IN HALF AND HOUR, BUT INSTEAD GOT A CALL FROM THE HOSPITAL. She has hurt- Badly. He raced to the hospital, and found out that she'd been assaulted by an ex-boyfriend from high school. Stab wounds, a lot of them. She passed away before three in the morning. Xiaojian never wanted to breathe again.

His father showed up from Korea the next day. He helped Xiaojian plan the funeral, and the day after the service. he sat him down and said he had something important to explain. He said that Xiaojian could move in with him, but he had to understand something very important. This is when Xiaojian's really started to fall apart.

But that wouldn't be the biggest surprise that night.

At first, Xiaojian had trouble processing the information. A twin? An older half-brother? His dad had another family? He was the product of an afair? He wanted to be angry, he really did, but he couldn't find himself doing so. It was just too hard, after losing his mother, and he clug to his father. The school year ended a few weeks later and Xiaojian left his home and friends behind without a second thought. He didn't want to be reminded anymore. Contrary to what he expected, his father's family welcomed him with open arms, and he was confused- UNtil his father said, "This is my second cousin, twice removed. Like I said, he just lost his mother, so please be kind." After that? HE DISTANCED HIMSELF FROM HIS FATHER. hOW COULD HE? hOW COULD BE MAKE HIM LIVE A LIE AFTER EVERYTHING? But he had no choice to go along with it, trying to adapt to his life in Korea, and have a famous guy as his older brother. For the first time, Xiaojian really learned about KPOP. His brother, Kibum, showed him music videos and live performances, and then showed him his own band. Xiaojian was shocked- It seemed so amazing! And then he begged his setp-mother to allow him to audition. She was wary but allowed it. after five months of living with them, Xiaojian's father sat his family down and told them the truth about who he was. There was some straing for a while, but by then he was already so loved, they couldn;t reject him. When Kibum returned to Seoul, Xiaojian went with him for auditions at Starship Entertainment. They were amazed by his skills and immediately accepted him. A short but hard year later, he joined a survival show, Fight Me. Fight me...Was hell. Honest hell.

He was insulted, given harsh punishments, fought against his close trainee friends, and had an equal amount of fans as he did antifan and those who simply didn't like him. However, Xiaojian never gave up hope and new that he was going to get into that final lineup- Everyone else did too, and Kibum was this close to congratulating him when his mother fell ill again. With no one else to call on, Xiaojian was the only one who could take care of her. It was late at night when the host went to wake up Xiaojian's team. When they were all awake and in the living room, he said that Xiaojian's step-mother was very sick and needed someone to look after her. He understood immediately and began to cry. When he said that he would leave, he had a tearful goodbye with the other four members of his team halfway through the episode. When the other team saw four members, they were totally confused until the situation was explained. There were goodbye video messages. In the end, three of his four teammates made it into the five-member group called Timez5. He's still in contact with them to this day. After that, Xiaojian figured he wasn't meant for the idol life and focused on school and his step-mother. However, for some reason he can't explain, he felt excitement when he saw that Kingdom Entertainment was holding auditions. After getting in, he originally thought he;s be a trainee for the rest of his time there. he was always so exhausted, constantly travelling between Seoul and Daegu. However, he made permenant residence at the dorm when he became a part of Varia- He cried then, too.

There are a few days every once in a while that Xioajian becomes totally domestic.

mother | Deceased | Jīn Huizhong | Would be 41 | Playful, intelligent, protective, spiteful | Huizhong was a wonderful mother to Xiaojian, always making sure he had enough to eat and had time to play with his friends no matter how busy life got. She took care of him and supported him and was always there for advice, until she was thirty-six and Xiaojian was thirteen. He'd been waiting up for his mother, around eleven at night when he got a call from the hospital. His mother had been attacked. Not too long after he arrived did she pass. Naturally this was hard on Xiaojian, especially considering the whirlwind of events that happened afterwards. But to this day Xiaojian loves his mother, and has a necklace made of some of her ashes. The rest of the ashes were buried back in Suzhou. He always talks to the members about how wonderful of a person she was and not a day goes by that he doesn't think of her. Grieving isn't so common for him anymore.

Father | Alive | Kim MInjae | 46 | Hard-working, observative, infidelic, regretful | Truthfully Minjae used to have a good relationship with Xiaojian. Even after finding out about his father's double life, Xiaojian recognized that his father had taken good care of him and was about the only thing he had left. However, when he moved in with him and his wife, Minjae originally introduced him to his wife and older son as his "second cousin twice removed," he knew that his father had only told more lies to his more important family. It was a harsh reality that he had no one, but quick;y his step-mother grew to love him, as hdid his half-brother. Nowadays he has a very formal relationship with his father.

Step-mother | Alive | Kim Seoyun | 45 | Maternal, loving, quiet, ill | Seoyun has been a calming presence in Xiaojian's life since he moved in with her. She did her best to not replace his mother, but to care for him as though he was her own, which he was amazingly grateful for. After he began to train, he would spend weekends and most holidays in Seoul with a family friend, and Seoyun would be sure to send him along with a proper amount of clothes and food and always make sure he got home safe and was happy. Even after finding out he was a child of her husand's infidelity, she still loved him all the same and calls him once every few days to make sure he's doing well, as well as sending the whole team care packages.

Older Half-Brother | Alive | Kim Kibum (Key) | Confident, charismatic, fashionable, blunt | Oh, Kibum. These two are shopping menaces together, seriously. They share almost identical interests, particularly in the areas of fahsion, makeup, and shopping. It's a bit horrifying to see them together on a shopping spree. Kibum was busy when they first met, but has only gotten busier since he's become more famous. Kibum was a bit wary after finding out his father had another kid with a different woman, but he couldn't reject XIaojian, he was already super protective of him and loved him like a brother- Who thought itd be true? Though someties they get a little touchy on the subject of their father, they don't let that get in the way often and check up on each other when possible. Kibum often send him advice to either keep to himelf or share with the group on being an idol, it's actually really cute. Kibum's overly fond of Xiaojian and isn't afraid to tell him so. They're really close and one look can be a wbole conversation between the two. It's amazing, really.

Grandmother | Deceased | Kim CHunja | Witty, kind, intuitive, sassy | By the time XIaojian met his father's mother, she was suffering from a bit of Alzheimer's and was in and out of a home for the elderly. However, she knew from one glance that he was her son's child, and berated Minjae a lot, though promised not to tell Kibum or Seoyun until he made the choice to. Ine the short time they knew each other before her death in 2014, they became extremely close and got along very well. She would send him some of his favorite Korean dishes, homemade, and told him to always follow his dreams. Th elast time they talked, he promised her that one day he'd be just as well known as Kibum, even if for a different reason than being an idol. Little did he know that in the end, being an idol was his destiny.

Twin sister | Unknown | Zhang Nuying | Unknown | Nuying was given up for adoption at birth. She and Xiaojian have never met and won't- That is, until he decided to hire a private invetigator to find her. However, that's in the future and for now, she's a simple college student studying to be an English teacher. She was adopted at two years old. Best friend | Geun Jitae | 20 | Humorous, playful, picky, critical | Ahh, Xiaojian's best friend/bane of existance. Jitae is really an , but that's alright, he's really a good hyung to Xiaojian. He absolutely babies him to death, teases him, and overall makes Xiaojian want to die, but really he needs a friend as up-beat at Jitae. They often text each other even though Xiaojian's always busy, and it's not uncommon to see Jitae at Varia's recordings and broadcasts. They've been friends since Xiaojian started training at Starshi, and they plan on being friends for life. Jitae is studying medicine in college but wants to debut some day. But for now he's just a major pain in the (And he breaks into the dorm). hE'S A BAD PERSON SOMETIMES. a LOT OF THE TIME. (FC: MR.MR's Doyeon)

Other best friend | Geun jihye | 19 | Calm, optimistic, shy, vague | Jitae's younger sister, she's a trainee at SM Entertainment. She has a very quiet, lowkey personality that Xiaojian really apprecieates She's wise beyond her years and he knows that if he needs help, he can go to Jihye. She's fluent in Mandarin so to give poor Xiaojian a break they often converse in his native language. They share in interest in cooking, and they're actually making a cook book- They've been working o it for three years. They plan on self-publishing it, actually, but things have slowed down since Xiaojian joined Varia, HOWEVER THEIR PLANS REMAIN STRONG. (FC: Former VIVIDIVA Sunyul)

Secret Squad Mom | Geun Sunyoung | 37 | Maternal, bright, naggy, meddlesome | Sunyoung really doesn't care about boundries, which explains her own Jitae completely- Jihye takes after her husband. But, yeah, Sunyoung is always invading Varia's activities to take care of them. If one is out sick, she's immediately the caretaker. She often fights with the managers (Read: Only Jinhwan, naturally) because of this. She's the one that makes them meals if no one else has, comes to their photoshoots to be sure they're being taken care of properly, etc. She treats all of them, but especially Xiaojian as her own. She was a teen mother and married the father just after Jitae was born. A year later Jihye was born. It was hard, but it made her into the bright, optimitsic woman she is today. (FC: Lee Bo Young)

Hyung | Mommy Woojin | 23 | Mommy | So this is Xiaojian's weird hyung-umma hybrid being that happens to work with him. We'll be honest, xIAOJIAN really really loves his singing and thinks it's basically magic, but the being behind that voice is weird. However, Xiaojian knows in his heart that Woojin is a really great person, but he likes to regardless. He's the one that manipulates him the most with cute things. He may or may not be a kinda bad person. bUT wOOJIN IS A SOURCE OF COMFORT MANY TIMES, SO DON'T THINK THEY'RE NOT CLOSE!

Maknae-ah | TBA | TBA | TBA | Okay so really Xiaojian wants to be the maknae so he can be spoiled more so he's not too fond of the maknae. But like he'll use everything he can to be spoiled so he takes being part of the maknae line and milks it as much as possible. However when Jongsik starts to use the maknae for flirting Xiaojian is ready to die.

trainee life ; At age fourteen, Xiaojian was introduced to KPOP group his older half brother, Kibum, who happened to be a member of SHINee. While he already had in interest in dancing, it was more in hip-hop than pop, yet he was absolutely facinated. Not wanting to ride Kibum's coat tails, though, Xiaojian instead auditioned at Starship Entertainment. He was somewhat of an enigma there, since he kind fit, but at the same time was completely different from sTARsHIP's style. After one harsh year of training, where he was easily the most talented in his trainee group, Xiaojian was given the opportunity to join Starship's new boy group survival show,  fIGHT mE, AND DID EXTREMELY WELL. tHOUGH MANY SAID HE WAS ANNOYING AND SHOULDN'T BE THERE, HE WAS ALWAYS A FAVORITE IN POLLS AND SEEMED TO HAVE A GUARENTEED SPOT IN THE FINAL LINEUP. truth was, he did, but when his step-mother suddenly fell ill again, his dad was too busy working, as hwas his older brother. That left him to care for her, so in the second-to-last episode he ended up leaving. After that, Xiaojian figured that the idol life wasn't meant to be for him, and thus focused in learning more Korean and his studies. By seventeen he found himself training at Kingdom Entertainment. There, he felt much more at home and made many friends within the trainees. He learnd much more at Kingdom than he ever did at Starship, and worked hard. His goal wasn't to debut, actually- Just to have fun, so imagine his surprise when he makes it into Varia.

Rookie Neo of Varia illegitimate brother of Class-A idol, Key?! | December 2016 | It was a poorly contained secret. SM wanted to keep this under wraps, but neither Kibum or Xiaojian was cool with that, so they honestly dropped little hints here or there, Neo "accidentally" calling Kibum gē ge or Kibum constantly showing affection. There were some that theorized they were dating, but very few thought that they were brothers until a picture of Kibum's dad was shown hugging Xiaojian at his graduation. A former classmate of Xiaojian's "confirmed" this, and Kibum and Xiaojian were actually surprised as they'd planned on coming out with it first, and the backlash was pretty terrible on both ends, though more so for Xiaojian.

Varia's Neo dating CLC's Seunghee? | Sometime 2016-2017 | Xiaojian met Seunghee during promotions, and honestly did think she was very pretty and kind. However, dating was never on their list of things to do together. People found then on late night "dates" that were really diet-shattering late-night food runs they did together.

Neo found cheating on College test, removed from class! | 2017 | He can't help it- Math is really freaking hard and he didn't want to fail this test. Instead, however, he was kicked out of his class and there was a huge uproar about it. It hit him pretty hard and he posted a hand-written apology on not only his personal accounts, but Varia's and Kingdom ENT's accounts, promising to never do such a thing again.

beginning ; When Jīn Xiaojian first met Jongsik, he was immedaitely captivated by his pretty face. Imagine his joy when he finds out this guy is his leader. Xiaojian really admired Jongsik, but was really confused at tow hy he recognized him. Only minutes after their meeting he realized- That was the guy from GW/NV, whom he'd been a minor fan of when he first moved to Korea. It didn't take a long time for Xiaojian to fall. However, there was a slight problem- Jongsik was an idiot and barely looked at him, he was kinda a nobody groupmate that he wasn't really close to to him which was an move, by the way. Xiaojian was hurt by the way Jongsik paid more attention to everyone else and was always using the maknae to flirt with people, so in revenge he began to flirt with everyone that Jongsik would, and was better at it. It was only after Xiaojian threw a fit about being ignored that Jongsik started to pay more attention to him. It was huge mess, though, because it was in front of the whole band during "group bonding time" and none of the managers were there and not even squad mom was there and Jongsik finally realized he ed up, and badly. Really badly.

"Jongsik hyung!" Xiaojian shouted, standing up and glaring at him furiously. He threw the small figurine he'd been holding at the T.V., the others wincing when they heard a crack. Jongsik looked at the dancer curiously, completely oblivious at to why he'd suddenly gotten angry, "That's it! That's ing it- You don't like me? Fine! Don't talk to me, don't look at me, don't even breathe near me then! And I should be near you all the time to you suffocate you !"

"Don't call me kid! aRE YOU JOKING? yOUR OH SO PRECIOUS KID IS OVER THERE," hE THREW A HAND IN THE YOUNGEST'S DIRECTION AS HIS VOICE DRIPPED WITH SARCASM, WHO BLINKED IN SHOCK, "Fine! I get it, really, I'm just a copy of everyone else on the team. There's nothing unique about me, because he's the main dancer, and you're the lead vocalist, and who the needs a regular rapper when you have a main and a lead anyway?! Not the company, not Varia, not you! I'll just stop trying, then, will that make you happy?"

"I said don't talk to me!" He cried, wiping at his tears as his body flinched with sobs, "Clearly I'm unimportant to this team and your life. So why am I even here, right? I'm just an annoyance, yeah?" He grabbed his jacket off the counter, moving towards the door when Jongsik grabbed his wrist. Fury burned in Xiajian's eyes, however, and he yanked his arm away, "Don't. Just don't. I don't need you if you don't want me. Now let me go."

xiaojian stormed out of the dorm that night. He didn't come back until morning.

Truth was? Jongsik was scared to be around Xiaojian. He, well, wasn't prepared for the sudden attraction that came with a weirdly tall eighteen-year-old bandmate. KNowing Xiaojian was like knowing a little piece of hell, because that kida was nothing but an enigma that caused him a lot of problems, particularly with his little friend. He wasn't sure it was quite right to want to bed one of your maknae liners. He was, for once, a bit embarassed at the prospect and was worried it would affect Varia in a way. Little did he know shutting of the poor kid was only going to cause bigger rifts in the group. After a very long talk with one of the most mature members, Jongsik realized he was only causing everyone trouble, and that he needed to let Xiaojian know that he was really loved by the entire group- He was a part of the precious maknae line, how couldn't they? The more mature member also brought up the fact that Xiaojian was problem feeling pretty isolated being one of the only members (If not the only) raised in a foreign country- It was obvious he was still struggling to understand the culture, and language for that matter. He never realized how much the kid had been struggling. How therin lied another problem- To Jongsik, Xiaojian was still a kid, even if he did want to sleep with him.

After the incident, Jongsik started to pay special attention to Xiaojian, and event he fans could notice a difference. He had seems a bit cold to "Neo" before, and now they seemed at close as could be. He was always the first to wipe away Xiaojian's tears. He took care of him as a real leader should, a bit more tender with him, and even asked the younger to tutor him in Mandarin so not only if they ever made a Chinese career he could know more, but so he could converse with Xiaojian in his native langauge to make him feel more comfortable. These were kind gestures, to help him along in life, but Xiaojian with his love-struck mind found it as being liked back. Really, Jongsik wasn't in love with Xiaojian and didn't realize that he was in love with him either, and that all of these actions were giving him false hope. It was a mess, and absolute mess, with Woojin warning Xiao to not get his hopes up too high and the maknae being a huge taget of jealously from him, and the other members stuck in their in-between place of not being sure what to do. Jongsik really started to pay attention to Xiaojian's actions when he begins to give him more attention in general, and this allowed him to see all of the awful habits he had of digging into things and tricking people and being a general brat, which Jongsik didn't approve of. Xiaojian, however, didn't have any idea about any of this, adn was certain if he made a move, Jongsik would be his boyfriend. So one night, he dressed himself all up in a lovely white suit, naturally beautiful makeup, a single red rose and hope in his heart as he approached the door to his leader's room. but what happened next was heart-shattering.

"You wanted to walk about Xiaojian?" Said dancer heard his hyung, Woojin, ask. Excitement welled up in the younger's heart- Was Jongsik going to admit to him that he had feelings for him but was unsure ABOUT THEM, IF THEY WERE REAL? tHAT WOULDN'T BE SURPRISING, jONGSIK REALLY WAS A FOOL ANYWAY. dON'T WORRY, HYUNG, i'LL TAKE THE BIG STEP, THE BLONDE THOUGHT TO HIMSELF AS HE WILLED FOR THEM TO HURRY WITH THEIR CONVERSATION SO wOOJIN WOULD GO AND HE COULD ASK THE QUESTION HE'D WANTED TO FOR SO LONG. hE WAS HONESTLY ECSTATIC, SO MUCH PREPERATION FOR JUST A FEW MINUTE'S TIME, HE JUST NEEDED TO WAIT A BIT LONGER BEFORE HIS LIFE WOULD BE BLISS.

"yEAH, i DID," jONGSIK SIGHED, RUNNING HIS HANDS AGAINST HIS FACE, "iT'S JUST...He seems like such a good kid but really...He's just awful. Demanding and rude and just such, such a child."
