Amid the current controversy around idols and their lack of historical knowledge, one idol is gaining attention for the exact opposite reason.

That idol's none other than SHINee's Minho! While other idols are coming to light about their lack of knowledge on crucial historical figures and events, Minho's previous answers on variety show is gaining much praise.

For example, when Minho was on an 'Infinity Challenge' special, one of the questions were, "Why did Queen Seokduk build Cheomseongdae?". He answered that it was for agricultural purposes, and since it was built to aid farming by predicting droughts and floods, he was correct.

In the same episode, Minho was asked what he thought of when he was told Yun Bong Gil's name. He also answered, "The lunchbox bomb", which is what the independent activist is the most famous for. He even added, "He killed the Japanese generals with his water bottle bomb. The lunchbox bomb that he had prepared for his suicide did not go off."
