She's a childish person. She's pure, cute, always curious and cheerful, like a child. She likes to do aegyo and many people think it's cute. It's like she's a kid living in 16 years-old teenager body. 

Jiyoo's a friendly person. She gets along with others really fast. She's good and adapt quickly with new people. That's why she's the most fast to get along with people in the palace. It's obvious to have more friends if you're friendly. She's smart, good at anything. Best grade at school. It's all thanks to her father who gave her good educations. Jiyoo's very popular in school in America. She's nice, cute, smart, and rich. She's almost perfect, they said. Almost? Then what's lacking? It's her randomness. She's very unpredictable. You don't know what she'll do next, and sometimes it can be dangerous. Like jumping out from school's 2nd floor window -and landed on back garden, luckily, safe- or when she was playing baseball; she makes a homerun, and her ball crashes the window, making those who's inside the building shocked. It doesn't matter, it just makes her more attractive, her friends says. Somehow her randomness attracts people to befriend her.

She's also short-minded and spontaneous. When people asking something, she just pick whatever she likes and doesn't think too much about it. Everything she's doing and her reaction is just spontaneous. When she feels like it, she does it. Jiyoo only do what she likes. If she didn't like it, she doesn't want to do it. If she doesn't like something, she just says it. She just want to be herself and doesn't want to be another person. But sometimes -or most of the times?- her words hurt others. She also often caught spacing out. When she thinks about something for a long time or feeling too tired and sleepy, without  realizing it, she already spacing out.

Jiyoo's a Korean-American. Her father is Korean and her mother is American. She was born in Chicago, USA and lived there until she passed the audition of NH Media and move to Korea, alone.

Her childhood was fun mostly, except for when she was 3. That time she was wondering around the house and she sees lighters on a table. She played it and suddenly, fire comes out and she startled. Jiyoo release the lighter quickly and unfortunately, the lighter fall on the floor and burn her pants. Luckily her mother comes out quickly and helps Jiyoo. Since then, she has an arsonphobia, fear of fire.

She learned ballet for the first time at 5. She really liked it and ask her father for more dance lesson. Up till now, she has learned many genre of dance, and she liked ballet and girls hip-hop the most. 

When she was on junior highschool, she was scouted by one of the NH Media Staff. It was when she just going out from the dance studio. The staff saw her and said that there was an audition for NH Media. Jiyoo became interested and decided to do the audition. She passed with her dance ability.

Her trainee life was kinda hard at first, because her father didn't want her to become an idol. He prefer Josephine to follow his steps, to become a businessman. But Jo keeps insisted that this is the life that she wanted; to become a performer, an idol. And she proved it when her father sees the show. He understand what Jo means and finally approved it.

– Father :: Lee Hyojin (50) / Excecutive director at YK Group / Strict, Intelligent, Perfectionist, Caring / He is workaholic. He tend to spends most of his time at office. Despite his strict personality, he has a soft spot for his family. He always feels sorry for his daughter that he didn't have enough time for her. Sometimes, he takes time to go out with his family and have fun together. He didn't want his work separates him from the family. Jiyoo's not too close with his father since they rarely meet. But Jiyoo loves him, and she knows her father feels the same. Sometimes she made some food and sends it to his office.

– Mother :: Christina Lee (50) / housewife / Thoughtful, Caring / Mother. The best person to share your thoughts with. They're close and Jiyoo always tell her secret to her mother, but not all of it. If Jiyoo tells her some wirds things she has done, it might end up badly; with her mother's anger.Taerin loves food. And it's the same with Jiyoo. It was her who taught Jiyoo how to cook and bake. All girls must know how to cook, she said. They often bake cake together or cooking some delicious food when there's time.

She quickly adapted when she moved to Korea and start her trainee period. She was totally fine with the other trainee and became friends with them really quickly. The training was kinda hard at first, since she wasn't mastering Korean language fully back then. Luckily, she can follow up and accustomed to the training routine.

pre-debut.  

Being in the pre-debut team makes Jiyoo works more harder. Her sleep time was reduced because she keeps practicing; especially for her rap. She wants to give her best and makes her family proud; especially her father.

scandals.  

A news went viral one day, saying that Jiyoo's choreography was fake. It said that she just copying another famous dance choreographer. It was totally wrong! Jiyoo became depressed for some weeks and after regaining her strength, she finally finds out that the one who spread that news was a girl, one of V's fans. She doesn't like Jiyoo's personality and she doesn't waant her to be too close to Taehyung.

hello *bows* I'm your Peterpan dancer, JI-U imnida! Nice to meet you! *grins*

tell us a little about yourself, what is your role, how long have you been a trainee?

I'm the main dancer of the group, and I'm also the rapper. I've been trained for two years in NH media. They took care of me very well.

how well do you think you will do in the show?

We have to see it first, then we'll know. But I'll do my best in the show!

how would you feel if you were not able to debut?

 Of course I'll be disappointed, especially to myself. I've worked hard to be in this position today. Not being able to debut means that I haven't tried enough and didn't have enough efforts. *silence* ahaha, I'm sorry. The situation got a little serious now, right? *laughs*
