Jiyoo wears formal clothes when she has a work regarding the JH Group. Dress with high heels will do. Usually her stylist will pick the clothes for her and do her hair.

APPEARANCE ☆  She is 165 cm tall and her weight is 49 kg. She has brown-colored hair with natural wave, and usually she tied it up. She doesn't like changing hairstyle, so she told her stylist to let her hair just like that, without changing anything. Her stylist agreed, besides her hair is beautiful just the way it is.

Unlike her family, she has hazel-colored eyes. Maybe it's from her grandmother. Her grandmother have hazel-colored eyes too, just like Jiyoo. She also has dimples.

She's a childish person. She's pure, cute, always curious and cheerful, like a child. She likes to do aegyo and many people think it's cute. It's like she's a kid living in 18 years-old teenager body. 

Jiyoo's a friendly person. She gets along with others really fast. She's good and adapt quickly with new people. That's why she's the most fast to get along with people in the palace. It's obvious to have more friends if you're friendly. She's smart, just as his brother. Good at anything. Best grade at school. It's all thanks to her father who gave her good educations. Jiyoo's very popular in school. She's nice, cute, smart, and rich. She's almost perfect, they said. Almost? Then what's lacking? It's her randomness. She's very unpredictable. You don't know what she'll do next, and sometimes it can be dangerous. Like jumping out from school's 2nd floor window -and landed on back garden, luckily, safe- or when she was playing baseball; she makes a homerun, and her ball crashes the window, making those who's inside the building shocked. It doesn't matter, it just makes her more attractive, her friends says. Somehow her randomness attracts people to befriend her.

She's also short-minded and spontaneous. When people asking something, she just pick whatever she likes and doesn't think too much about it. Everything she's doing and her reaction is just spontaneous. When she feels like it, she does it. Jiyoo only do what she likes. If she didn't like it, she doesn't want to do it. If she doesn't like something, she just says it. She just want to be herself and doesn't want to be another person. But sometimes -or most of the times?- her words hurt others.

BACKGROUND ☆ 

Being born as the second children of JH Group, the biggest property company in entire kingdom, Jiyoo’s life isn’t as normal as the other kids. Jiyoo was raised to lead the company along with her older brother, Jihoon. They was told to be number one in anything. And she did it. She always get the best score on her lessons. Basically, she's good in anything, even sports.

She has many friends in school, and a good and caring oppa to play with. But when she was 5, Jihoon was sent to Japan, and after that, she was lonely in her mansion. She didn't have any friends to play with. Her parents are all busy and Jiyoo didn't sees them often at home. All thing she did in her mansion was just studying, eat, and playing all by herself. Jiyoo always trying to call Jihoon, but he never picks up. He was busy with all his lessons in Japan. Her fun time was at her school only. Until her butler, Mr. Choi, introduced Seungcheol to her. Jiyoo was so happy that she hug him really tight and saying that they will become good friends. After that, Jiyoo never gets lonely again. She has Seungcheol to play with her. Seungcheol's like a oppa and bestfriend to her. They often walks out together and having fun.

And then she passed her childhood and graduated from middle school with best score, as expected from everyone.

Jiyoo started to get more popular when she entered highschool. She's smart, cheerful and friendly. Everyone in school wants to get along with her. Not to mention that some of her friends just close to her because she's child of Lee Hyojin, owner of JH Group. -I hate fake friends, really- uhm. Back to topic! But she never thinks of that, and suppose that everyone was getting along really well.

An accident happened in her first year of highschool. She was waiting for Mr. Choi to pick her up after school when she sees Seungcheol across the street. She was so happy that she called Seungcheol and run, crossing the street. Seungcheol looked to Jiyoo and smiled, then surprised when he saw a car moving really fast to her direction. Seungcheol ran and shouted,"Watch out!"

Luckily, both of them was safe. Jiyoo was surprised and she started crying. Seungcheol hugged her immediately and soothing he, saying it's alright. When Jiyoo's parents hear the whole incident, they scolded Jiyoo for being so careless and running into street withou thinking. Later, Mr. Choi retired and Seugcheol became her butler.

It was 2013 when she says to her parents that she wants to live alone. It was when Jiyoo starts her second year in highchool -she's 16- and just right after Jihoon comes back from Japan. She says that she wants to be independent. Her family was surprised at first -especially Jihoon-, but they seems to understand and let Jiyoo lives separately, in two condition. Her father will choose place where will she live and Jiyoo must attend all the meeting regarding JH Group, with Jihoon. Jiyoo agreed, and later, her father gives her an apartment key, one of JH Group's property. And then she moved, and she didn't allow her butler -Seungcheol- to follow her anywhere she goes. His only task now is picks her up when there's a meeting to attend. Still, Sungcheol visits her often when there's no work.

Without permission from her parents, she quietly starts working part-time on a cafe named Licht Cafe. She didn't tell her parents because they will definetly against that and tell her to stop working. The only one who knows this was Jihoon and Seungcheol.

-Lee's mansion-

When they asked why, she just said,"I just want to work, that's it." Jihoon looked at her and sigh,"Yoo-chan! You always give me a surprise ever since I come back to Korea. You said you want to live alone and now, working? Didn't people recognized you when you work?" Jiyoo grins, showing her big glasses and wears it, making Jihoon understands.

"Master will definetly drag you home when he knows this, miss," Seungcheol adds. Jiyoo looked at Seungcheol, pouted,"Seung-i oppa! I said just call me by my name! We're friends anyway!" Jihoon nodded, agree with Jiyoo,"Don't call me 'young master' too, hyung. It's awkward." Seungcheol is 1 year older than Jihoon. "But-"

"I hate you!" she crossed her arms and turned around, making Seungcheol sigh. "Okay, okay," he finally said and patted her head. "He he!" Jiyoo laughs, feeling satisfied. "Hyung! How can you be friends with this weirdo, huh?" Jihoon looking at Jiyoo with weird expression. "I don't know, it just happens," Seungcheol laughs. "Anyway," Jihoon continues,"I'll let Yoo-chan go this time. Just make sure father and mother don't know about your work." Jiyoo nodded happilly and hugged him.

One day, Jiyoo goes to Lee's mansion after hearing that her parents just come back from London and have something to talk about to her. She arrived and find her parents in main room, smiled at her. Jihoon was there too, but his expressions kind of weird. Jiyoo looks at Jihoon, asking if something is wrong, then sit beside him. He didn't answer her question, and just looking at her. Her parents contine, and said that they've decided that Jiyoo should get married and choosed some candidates to be her husband. Most of them are from 4th caste and some from another Kingdom companies JH Group cooperate with.

"W-W-WHAT?!" Jiyoo looks at them, surprised,"B-b-b-but I'm still 18!" And then her parents explained to her that it's the best for her and -of course- JH Group. She looks at Jihoon, and she finally understands his expression. It was planned by them. The arranged marriage. She looks around, looking for excuses and it just in the right time. Television near them is airing The Selection. She sees Taehyung there and she smiled, suddenly says that she'll join The Selection. They looked at tv, look at the broadcast and then understands. They accept it and canceled the arranged marriage. They probably think marrying one of the Prince from their Kingdom was better. Jiyoo feels relieved, but Jihoon seems to worried about her joining the Selection.

"Ya! Yoo-chan!" he scolded her when their parents left,"Don't you even think about joining The Selection?" Jiyoo pouted,"I don't want to marry someone I don't know!" He sighs,"Then do you know someone from The Selection?" she nodded,"I know, jal-saenggin oppa!" "What? Who is he?"

Jiyoo shows him a photo on her smartphone. It was her taking a selca with a guy. "What's his name?" he asks. "Eh,... I don't know his name actually. Hehe.." Jihoon poke her forhead,"Then let me tell you something. He's Kim Taehyung, one of the 7 prince of Kingdom of Bangtan. Joining The Selection means you are willing to marry him. How did you say you'll join Selection without even thinking anything? You don't even know the Princes!" Jiyoo touched her forehead,"It hurts! I just want to sees him, I think.."

"You said it, then you should do it. If you fails or stops halfway, then maybe father and mother will make you do the arranged marriage again!" "EEEH??!" "It's your fault, don't blame me!" then Jihoon leaves.

"Uwaaah!" Jiyoo shouted,"T-then.. my only choice is.. to marry one of the Princes?!"

FAMILY ☆

— Father, Lee Hyojin ☆ 50 ☆ Current CEO of JH Group ☆ Strict, Intelligent, Perfectionist, Caring ☆ Being a CEO of the biggest property company in Korea, Hyojin doesn't have time to rest. He must make sure that everything in his company goes well and perfect. He did the same thing in educating his children. He wants all the best for his family.He sends Jihoon -his first child- to Japan when Jihoon's still 7 years old. Hyojin said he wants to make sure that the next leader of JH gets a good education. He didn't send Jiyoo overseas, but instead he sent her to Bighit Academy, the best school in the entire Kingdom. Despite his strict personality, he has a soft spot for his family. He always feels sorry for his children that he didn't have enough time for them. Sometimes, he takes time to go out with his family and have fun together. He didn't want his work separates him from the family. Jiyoo's not too close with his father since they rarely meet. But Jiyoo loves him, and she knows her father feels the same. Sometimes she made some food and sends it to his office.

They're close and Jiyoo always tell her secret to her mother, but not all of it. If Jiyoo tells her some wirds things she has done, it might end up badly; with her mother's anger.Taerin loves food. And it's the same with Jiyoo. It was her who taught Jiyoo how to cook and bake. All girls must know how to cook, she said. They often bake cake together or cooking some delicious food when there's time.

— Brother, Lee Jihoon ☆ 20 ☆ The heir of JH Group ☆ Thoughtful, charming, caring, smart ☆ They're super close. They often spend time together, shares their problems and secrets. Different, but complement each other. They have a fight sometimes, but always reconcile 5 minutes after. Jihoon sometimes can't understands why Jiyoo didn't think before doing something, but that's how her sister is, and he accept it. Different from her sister, Jihoon is really thoughtful. Whenever Jiyoo has a problem, she runs to Jihoon. He always there for her. She feels lucky to have a brother like Jihoon.

— I'm sorry eonni! Choi Mari ☆ 20 ☆ occupation ☆ Silent,Timid,Modest,Laid-Back,Progressive,Benevolent,Soft-hearted,Undecided,Easy-going ☆ at the Selection ☆ Her straightforward personality ruins it again! It was when the final 7 was choosed. Jiyoo wants to get friendly with others, so she goes around and started to introduce herself to another final 7. When it was Mari, she feels ignored by her, so she says,"Eonni, wouldn't it be fine to you to just speak?" then she leaves. Of course her words hurt Mari. Later, Jiyoo founds out that Mari can't speak due to some condition, and she immediately goes to her, sying sorry and starts crying, Mari, surspried, just hugged her and smiled, patted her head, indicating that she forgives her. Now, Jiyoo's like a cute dongsaeng to Mari.

— Chingu, you know my secret, Son Seungwan (stage name; Wendy) ☆ 19 ☆ Licht Cafe's singer ☆ soft-hearted, hard-worker ☆ at the cafe ☆ They're really close and Wendy is the only person at the cafe who knows that she's from the 4th caste. They often have a duet performance at cafe; Jiyoo plays guitar -sometimes violin- and Wendy sings or playing guitar as well.

OTHERS ☆

— Childhood bestfriend? Butler? Or Lover? Choi Seungcheol ☆ 21 ☆ Jiyoo's personal butler ☆ Caring, mature, kind ☆ When Jiyoo was 5 years old ☆ They first met at Jiyoo's family mansion, when she was 5 years old. It was when Choi Jaehyeong, her former personal butler, introduced his child -which is 3 years older than her- to Jiyoo. Jiyoo didn't have friends back then, her parents are all busy and Jihoon was studying in Japan. So Mr. Choi decided to bring Seungcheol to lonely Jiyoo. They become good friend after that. Actually, Seungcheol first love is Jiyoo. He's somehow attracted to her weird and childish personality. 

After the accident, Seungcheol became more protective to Jiyoo. So when his father retired from his job, Seungcheol decided to take his father position as Jiyoo's butler. Jiyoo was refusing his decision, because he just graduated from highschool and still have a long way to go. But Seungcheol insisted, saying that he is the only person who can protect her. After some discussion, Jiyoo give in and Seungchol was accepted. And yes, they still a best friend. Seungcheol haven't confessed to her.

— Hey, friend! What are you doing here? Seo Hyerin ☆ 18 ☆ third year student at Bighit Highschool ☆ personality ☆  At highschool ☆ Child of school's owner, from 3rd caste. One of Jiyoo's fake friend. They're fine as friends, but Jiyoo's completely has no idea that Hyerin hates her. Act good in front of her, but trying to harm her from the back. She hates her for being so perfect and the most liked person in school. She wants to beat her so much that she ever put something in her drink and make Jiyoo hospitalized for a week. I'ts like she has an urge to kill her. -It's scary..- Hearing that Jiyoo's going to join the selection, she thinks to join too. This time, she would not give her a chance to win. She's targeting the prince that Jiyoo chooses. She's confident and believes that she'll steal that prince's heart from Jiyoo. She might do dangerous things to Jiyoo at the Selection later.

Reason for joining the selection ☆  as it is written in the background section, Jiyoo's purpose is actually to avoid the arranged marriage. She just blurts out! But part of herself wants to sees Taehyung again, thats why she joins the Selection.

life as a selection candidate   ☆  She never entered the palace, so she was excited when she enter the palace. She goes along really well with staff and another candidates in the palace. She just don't care with the caste system and talks with everyon, like a normal people. She's like, curious to all things she sees at the palace, and always asking about it to the staff. Her relationship with other princes is fine as well, but she just can't bear Prince Seokjin's meticulous personality, who's always wanting to make Jiyoo's life organized, as a teenager. Prince Jimin didn't get along with Jiyoo at first. He just can't forget her words that time, when they met for the first time. But later, they seems to get along pretty well. She's close with Prince Jungkook, since they're in the same age and they often learn school subject together. People in the palace calls her as 'Taehyung's twin', because their attitude is similiar, and they even says that Prince Taehyung make a great decision by choosing Jiyoo, that fits him really well.

One thing she finds pretty hard to control in the palace. It's about her manner. Sure, she knows how to behaved in front of important people, and Royal Family of course. But being polite and maintain a good attitude all the time, she just can't.

Her parents are proud of her and Jihoon seems relieved that her sister makes it to the final 7. Her co-worker at the cafe suprised when they know that actually Jiyoo comes from 4th caste, and they celebrated it at cafe when she finally chosen as the final 7. Her friends, um, some are happy and some aren't -especially boys-.

She realized that many of the candidates were joined the Selection because of their family condition, not like her that just joined to avoid arranged marriage. She felt sorry for them, but now she must living as the final 7.

PERSONALITY ☆  The weirdo among the Princes. Alien Prince, they call him. He's the type that don't listen to others and do what he likes. His parents always try to discipline him, but it seems like it didn't work. They tried it until it reaches the stage where they decided give up. He never listen when it comes to things he doesn't like. He thinks that most of the people can't understand him and have a different world from him. He can't express his feelings well, so instead he shows his cold side to people. When you're close to him, he'll show his warm side to you.

He has never been in love before. And Jiyoo was the one that make him fall in love for the first time. That's why when he sees Jiyoo, he's wordering what kind of feeling is it? It's a new feeling for him.

RELATIONSHIP ☆  At first it was like oppa-dongsaeng relationship. They only know each other for a very short period, but thanks to Jiyoo, they're getting along really well. Taehyung chosed her because he only knows her of all candidates, and he likes her. He felt like they're in the same world, that they understand each other well. He knows that Jiyoo avoided the arranged marriage and he decided to help her. Jiyoo often talks about her butler Seungcheol  when she's with Taehyung, and suddenly he feels jealous and angry for no reason.

HISTORY ☆ 

They first met at a party, 6 months before the selection.

There was an annual meeting for all business holders in the kingdom. The event was held to strengthen relationships between business holders and the Kingdom. The meeting was held in the morning, and at the end of the day they will have a party. This time, the 7 princes come as Kingdom representatives.

This year annual meeting was held in JH’s hotel. Jihoon and Jiyoo attend the party, accompanying their parents. Knowing Jiyoo doesn’t take interest in their company, Jihoon said that she can leave everything about JH to him, and let her do anything she want, as long as she keep her attitude and didn’t leave the party alone. Jiyoo nodded enthusiastically, saying thanks to him. She heads to rooftop garden outside the ballroom, looking for a nearby bench, and sit there.

Meanwhile, Taehyung didn’t seem interested on the party. Well, some other princes too. Yoongi’s already gone, probably looking for some place to sleep. Jiminie? ...Okay. He’s flirting with some girls out there. And Hoseok is right beside him, not knowing what to do. He’s like... having an urge to go to Dance Club again. The most interested person is Seokjin and Namjoon, followed by obedient Jungkookie.

“Hyung, please be patient,” Taehyung laughed, “I’ll go get some fresh air, okay?”

Hoseok’s still in his place, flustered. Taehyung looking at big window at the ballroom. There’s a garden there. He goes out and looking around. This is much better than inside, he thinks. “Oh!” he said. There’s a young girl at the corner, sitting there and writing something. Another big company’s child? Taehyung starts walking to her, decided to greet her.

“Hello,” Taehyung said. Jiyoo looking at him, and suddenly she stands up with big smile on her face,” Uwaaah! Oppa, you’re so good-looking! Jal-saenggin oppa! You’re older than me right? I’m still in high school though. Oppa, I’m sure you’ve graduated. Right? Ri-”

“Whoa! Stop!” he stopped her,”First, let’s take a seat.” He pointed at the bench. Jiyoo sits there obediently, with Taehyung following her. Jiyoo looks at him with amazed look. What’s with this girl?

“Well, yes. If you’re in high school, then I’m older than you. And thank you for calling me good-looking. Anyway, we should know each other’s name, right? My name-“ “Oppa! Oppa! Take a look at this!” Jiyoo said. Wait, she didn’t listen to me?  Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows. “What is it?” strangely, he keep responding to her words. Jiyoo shows him a thick book. “Another World,” he reads the title,”Ah, I saw you write something on this book. Is this a novel you write?”

“What?” Jiyoo shook her head,” NO! BIG NO! Oppa, look!” She opened her book. It’s filled with many scenery photos. “Scenery photos?” She nodded. There’s a description under some photos. It’s handwritten. “See, We don’t have places like this in the Kingdom, right? All of these photos are taken when I went travelling overseas or to attend some meeting in another country.  I visit many beautiful places there. I take photos then write about that place and my feelings here, in this book. I am still finishing description on some photos tough.”

She keeps telling him about her book, cheerfully. She’s weird, like a cat, he thinks. But Taehyung looks interested and asking about some photos. That’s how they know each other.

Their second meeting happens 2 weeks after that party. Jiyoo was late for her part-time job because of her group assignment. She gets off the bus quickly after it reaches her destination and running so quick. Doesn’t aware with her surroundings, she hits someone and falls.

It was Taehyung. He was tagging along with Hoseok, Jimin, and Jungkook to Dance Club, again. Surprised, he just stands there, thinking ‘Someone just hits me. Right. Help her!’

“Slow,” Jimin said, taking out his hand and helping her to get up,”Are you okay, milady?” Jiyoo stands and said,”Thank you. But milady? Oppa, I know you’re good-looking, but isn’t milady a bit unpleasant to hear? You know, like... We just met now!”

“Pfft,” Hoseok, Taehyung and Jungkook can’t hold back their laugh. Jiyoo just looking at them, flustered. “Ah, jal-saenggin oppa!” she points at Taehyung,” What a coincidence! So I hit you just now? I’m sorry!” Jiyoo bows her head. "Goyang-i ssi!" he surprised, pointing at her too.

“Jal-saenggin oppa? Goyang-i ssi?” Hoseok laughs harder, followed by Jungkook and Jimin. “Ah! JOB!! And,” She said, taking something from her bag,” Oppa, this. You like my book, right? I made a copy!! I must go now, I’m late for my job!”

She gives him a book and running to cafe. Suddenly she turns around and shouted,”Oppa! I worked at a cafe nearby! It’s called Licht Cafe! Oh, and your friend are good-looking too! Bye!”

“She’s weird,” Jungkook said, laughing. Hoseok laughing really hard,”And Jimin is being left flustered. She’s cool!” “Hyung!” Jimin said, feeling annoyed by him. Meanwhile, Taehyung opened the book, and it’s exactly same. Everything. The description was handwritten too. She must be working hard to write this all, he thinks.

“She really weird, just like you. You two will make a good couple,” Jimin said suddenly, making Taehyung’s face red,“What are you thinking about? She doesn’t even know me!"

“Well, she's a cute person," he laughs when he saw a photo in the end of the book. It was her photo when she was in London, posing weirdly in front of Big Ben. She writes something under the photo. "Oppa, it's cool right? The building behind me! People call it Big Ben. Oh! I look beautiful in this photo too~"

"Huh? It's dead," Jiyoo looked at her phone,"No battery left!"

"What? Dead?" someone's laughing from her back.

She turns around. It was Taehyung. "Oppa!" she laughed. Taehyung smiles, walking to her table and sit in front of her. Jiyoo's looking at him with big smile; she have ordered Taehyung's favorite coffee, Iced Latte.

"Uwa, you've ordered, I see," Jiyoo just smiled. "What do you want to talk about, oppa?" she asks. Taehyung's expression becomes serious,"See, I'm sorry I can't propose to you yet, like other princes." Jiyoo's face just as red as a tomato now, and she shook her head so fast,"Wha- No! I'ts alright oppa! It doesn't matter to me!"

"But!" he suddenly grabs Jiyoo's hand, his face becomes red too. Jiyoo just sit there, flustered. "P-promise me, you'll be with me f-for..ever, okay?" Taehyung hides his face, doesn't want her to see his expression.

Suddenly.. "Oppa!" Jiyoo cupped his face and looking staight to him with her big smile,"I promise! So don't worry!"

Taehyung grins, and gives her a peck on her cheek.

"OPPA! Don't do that to me so suddenly!!"
