I was honestly shocked and overwhelmed to find out I had won tickets to SHINee's fanmeet. I was in complete disbelief when I saw this and received the email and had completely forgotten I even entered the contest. I orginally had plans to go to Chicago with a friend, but my plans were ruined when I saw she wasn't replying to messages and she seemed like she was sincere about going. I confronted her jokingly without any confrontation (if that makes sense), but I had been serious and asked her why she wasn't replying and when I saw her on my last day of finals we confirmed we'll be calling off our plans. My mom offered me to go again with a relative but I'd have to purchase the cheapest ticket. I was looking forward to a nice summer and it didn't start off well, I had missed out on the opportnity of getting good seats as well. And receiving notifications on the days drawing near to the concert had made me feel worse. Then I saw they were giving out free tickets and went ahead and followed the qualifications for getting the free tickets after I told my mom I wasn't going, but now I am! Although I don't have pit seats, I'm overwhelmed with joy. I just don't appreciate how fans kept reselling their tickets because they didn't have pit seat. Don't do that to our boys! I understand the frustration of not gettin what you want but when I thought I wasn't going, I kept saying to myself, "I'd do anything to be there and sit where ever just to see SHINee." I'm very thankful that my mom is taking the time our to travel 5 hours out of state to see them on Mother's Day.
