I need some help guys.

So, I've been working on rewriting my fan fiction "The List" and turning it into an original novel. Now, here's the problem. I've come up with 11 different opening lines that I could use, and I've got no idea which one that I like the best. So I'm going to post them all and you guys can tell me which one you like the best. What sentence would cause you to continue reading the book from that point on? Which angle should I use?

1 “You know, this wouldn't be happening if you would have just left the geese alone.” Issac called as Miguel stomped towards the doors of the hospital.

2 People can forget what they say, what they do, or even what they see in any given situation, but people never forget how it made them feel, and Miguel, he would never forget the day he felt color.

3 He promised he'd never step food inside the building again. Eight years later, the damn door still got stuck on the floor mat every time it swung open.

4 If they hadn't known each other since they were six years old, Miguel would have stopped being friends with Issac the moment he'd agreed for them to do this.

5 Miguel saw the world in shades of gray, and he frowned at the neon red letters painted across the side of the building.

6 He had to think again how, exactly, he went from getting drunk in a graveyard to volunteering at the local hospital in just three days time. Oh yeah, the San Francisco court system.

7 The world is full of good people and bad people, but no one ever truly knows what kind of person they are. Miguel, he thinks he might know.

8 Miguel's life had not always been so miserable. He had a mother once, and a sister, and even a twin brother. He had good grades and took guitar lessons. He looked up to his sister and was best friends with his brother. He even tried to get along with his step-father at first.

9 Nothing good ever happened at the hospital. It was the place hope came to die.

10 The gray sky buzzed with the threat of rain that morning. A cool chill swept through the concrete jungle, winding its way through scarves and gloves. It was the kind of day that left a bitter taste on your tongue and a chill in your spine. Parents let their kids stay inside. Even the pickpockets would take a day off. The kind of day that would find a convict standing on the steps of a hospital in a volunteer's vest, fighting every urge in his body not to turn around and march to the judge to demand jail time instead of this.

11 Whether he would pick himself up from rock bottom and fix his life or allow himself to slide back into the same old downward spiral all hinged on whether or not Miguel would step through the front door of that hospital.

I like 8, 3 and 2. If I had to choose one though I would say 2, it makes me really want to read on.
