  • APPEARANCE: The staple of Chai's appearance is her hair : long, thick, and every stylist's dream to work with. She likes it (very) long, just a few inches shy of her natural waistline, and has darker skin than most because of all the time she's spent in the sun, and she's not about to whiten it to meet some beauty standards. She likes to wear makeup, honestly, but she prefers to do it herself (and to others when the stylists will actually let her).
STYLE: Chai's got a very simple street style when not promoting, kind of effortlessly and lazy y vide and style. She's all into the crop tops, high waisted detroyed jeans, boots, sneakers, the bordering on clubwear that's a little revealing. Pattaya is hot in the summer, so she's used to showing skin in some sense and isn't terribly shy with it. When promotions, personal or group-wise, are heavy, she puts her personal fashion aside to dress as the stylists want to fit the concept she has to present.

i've got a wild heart.

PERSONALITY: genuine, confident, out going. / whimsical, affectionate. / implusive, frivolous, sassy.

Chai is a girl who just screams "idol material". She's such a maginetic sort of personality, attracting people to her with a smile and a hand heart to seal the dead. Chai wins people over usually because of her genuine appearance off the stage or during interviews. The girl has no reason to be ashamed anymore, she'll claim, and she puts herself out there, because there's no changing who you are. This brings us to her confidence. She excudes confidence no matter where she goes, which, well, works in her favor when on stage and since she's famous. She knows she's good, she knows she's pretty. She even tells herself that. When asked the difference between vain and confidence, she'll say "Confidence is wearing your crown and acknowledge the others around you, Vainity is knocking off the crown next to you and claiming yours is better." Chai's got energy, and she is MORE than willing to meet you and greet you. She's so happy with people, she's an extrovert by definition and thrives off of having a good time in groups. She'll never turn down an opportunity to make a friend, much less one to actually go out and be social. This actually causes her to have quite a few industry friends during the group's long hiatus.

Chai's got a specific kind of whimsy, day dreamer sort of look to her. She's playful and a little fantastical in the way she presents herself, but it can come off as naive and immature to fans when she takes things a little too far. People also asume that she's an 4-D sort of personality and nothing more, similar to others who are targeted as a 'mood maker' or 'magnetic' part of the group. Chai... is VERY affectionate and friendly towards her peers. I'm talking there's kissing, hand holding and cuddling even if it's not totally appropiate. She was just raised in a household where affection wasn't ever withheld, so it's carried on to her. While physical contact is great, there are times and places where Chai shouldn't be hanging off of people.
There is never a plan when it comes to Chai's life. She sort of just... does, and does without asking or with permission. While implusive can be nice, it can also get her into a lot of trouble with the paparazzi and the ruthless netizens, even her own company. She wants to go out and do, and that's fine, go live your life, she still needs to be reminded of what her profession is and she needs to take her life and decisions with more thought and seriousness. Chai likes things. Specifically, things she can't have. She's by no means a brat, but the girl is definitely spoiled and knows it. She tends to be over the top and requests insane kinds of prizes on variety shows and it's just simutaneously incredible and annoying. She's so incredibly carefree and nonchalant, too, which can win you over or lose you real quick. She ends to have this approach of "what happens happens" when not totally 100% doing something that popped up into her head, so she has no sense of responsibility, honestly. Girl has a comeback for everything you throw at her, okay. Even if you're not trying to start a sass off, she will try and tell you off if she feels like you need to be put in your place or if she thinks you're offending her.

i used to wanna be living like there's only me.

BACKGROUND: The first half of her life was spent in Pattaya, but with frequent trips to Daegu to visit her family there. She grew up in two worlds, and Chai personally felt like she didn't quite belong in either city, and when going to her international school in Pattaya, she always was confronted with the personal struggle of finding identity in herself: She was either too Thai or too Korean, so which was she? This made her write a lot, especially poetry, earning her awards and recognition for her emotional writing. It gave her some closure and calmed her crazed mind that was desperate to find an answer about her identity.

With her older brother and sister making the decision to move to Daegu for their schooling, she was also given the option to travel to Korea to finish hers as well. She decided to stay in Pattaya with her father and mother, not wanting to leave the safety of her parents yet. Chai did continue to visit for the summers, though, and in 2005, her reasons started changing. Her brother had really gotten into hip hop and rap while in school, and shared with his sister whlie she was there. She shrugged it off, not really enjoying the harsh lyrics and patronizing remarks towards women. This stood as a challenge to her brother: He wanted her to like the genre, finding some comparisions and likenesses in her poetry and the style of writing lyrics. So he decided to take her along to a show that his friend had invited him to. They went, and the energy was the first thing that drew her in: but then a performer went up on stage. She has no idea who they were to this day, but the sheer emotion and raw power of their words spoke to her on a new level, and she wanted to be involved in this new genre, this new world she had gotten herself into.

The next summer, Chai came prepared: she had written so much more poetry, but this time in more rhythmic time, hoping to keep up with the intensity she experienced at the underground arena. When she arrived, her brother bought her a birthday gift -- T3 - Yoon Mi Rae by the same artist of which the album is named. Yoon Mirae, someone similar to her -- mixed and faced with the struggle of finding your identity in both sides of your heritage. That's when Chai fell in love so far there was no coming back. She listened to that album the most while getting into rap -- she wanted to do that, to rap and share her stories, her struggles, so people like her or who could feel like they weren't alone could find that. In 2007, she began performing at underground rap concerts, and she applied for a school in the local area. She knew what she wanted to do, and by god, nothing was gonig to stop her this time. Under the stage alias Kraing, she took to the stage and the internet, uploading her original works and covers of mostly Yoon Mirae, but occasionally others. She had a pretty solid following, and people suggested she send in one of her performances to a few entertainment companies. Researching the idea and bouncing it off of her brother and his friend, Min Yoongi, she decided to go for it. She sent it to the big 3 first, but after weeks of no response, she sent several tapes to many different entertainment companies, hoping that they'd accept her. And in September of 2007, she heard back from one of them: Woolim. With little more thought, she accepted and began her life as a trainee.

TRAINEE LIFE: In late 2007, Chai was thrown into a group of trainees and said to she should try and keep up with them. She couldn't. She wasn't used to dancing and rapping or singing, so she was then placed into the general group of trainees. However, Chai was determined and put in long hours at the studio, working on her vocals, her rap, her dance into the late evening and coming in hours early, desperately trying to improve. If doing all of this (as she called it) ridiculousness that they called training got her closer to sharing her music, her words with the world, then she'd do it and do it ten fold. While her dancing was something to more or less laugh at, her skills and personality, such as getting along with all the trainers, the trainees, and the previous group she was with, the managers decided to move her back up in early 2008. She was then able to keep up with the group, barely with dancing, but she seemed able to hold her own in others. The most surprising part of her training, though, was her ability as a vocalist. While her voice did not have a finesse or professional quality like the main vocalists, it held a unique sound that led for the people to place for her to have the lead vocalist position at one of the final lineup meetings. She worked on this part the most during hiatus to make sure she could prove herself worthy of the position. It took a few weeks, but she managed to secure the position in the group and by doing so, secure her debut. Then the decision became permanent. She was moved into their dorm, synced with their schedules, training and eating wise. She had made it into the finalized lineup of the newest girl group, FAERIETALE. They wanted to keep her addition a secret, though, because the lineup had apparently been finalized to the public when she was first kicked out. Chai had made her dream a reality with a lot of hard work and determination, having one of the shortest trainee times in the company.

Chai had a lot of problems with anxiety and depression growing up because of her struggles with her identity. The students in her class weren't necessarily mean to her, but definitely pointed out her 'Korean-ness' to her, and vice-versa with the kids in Korea with her 'Thai-ness'. and when she got into Woollim, she wasn't excluded from this. Trainees were ruthless when it came to their desire for success, and she was the victim of a lot of name calling and shaming for her mixed heritage.

While on break after the disbandment, she worked on music and writing. She visited her family and friends, but hit a huge slump in her depression, disappearing completely for a while. Yoongi came and helped her, having dealt with the same kind of (with different causes, ofc) and went to the CEO about seeking counselling or professional help for her. Since then, she's got counselling and psychartrist's help. Her depression and anxiety are still prevalent, but she handles it much better. That doesn't mean that she hasn't had her moments.

FAMILY:
Khemkhaeng Kraiputra / Father / 52 / Adminstrative Assistant Principal / Fair, Assertive, Respectful / alive / Khemkhaeng loves his children almost more than he loves his wife. They made sure that the three could begin their education at the international school they worked at, but he wanted them to experience both sides of their heritage. So they often travelled between Daegu, where Yeonhee was from, and Pattaya. When they were old enough, they were given the choice to continue living there or go to Korea to finish their schooling. When Chai was the only one who stayed, he felt almost... hurt. He didn't think they'd be so eager to leave. So he sort of held onto Chai for a while, relectuant to let her go visit her siblings. What if she changed her mind? What if his kids all secretly hated that they were Thai? That's never the cause, but again, he's a fair man, so when Chai decided to stay in Seoul back in 2007, he let her. Now that she's acheiving her dream, he's never been happier for her -- he wants her to visit, though.
Song Yeonhee / Mother / 48 / Korean Teacher / Youthful, Implusive, Witty / alive / Yeonhee and her children are more estranged than one would think. She's honestly really upset that they left Pattaya for Korea. She grew up there, and she's glad they liked it and learned the language and kept up with it throughout their lives... But she also knows that her husband feels abandoned and the shame can rise up easily. After all, the stigma against half Korean children is strong, and she knows he wonders if they don't like having that put against them. She still keeps them in contact, though, but nags them a lot about coming back home to visit or stay awhile -- it'd make her hubsand happier. With Chai, she's seen as the silly mom who has it all under control, but also the one that tells her to come home, especially after her first disbandment. Yeonhee isn't exactly fond of idol life, she doens't think it's worth it unless you have a college degree to do a normal job after you're done, and most idols have to put off their schooling due to their schedules.
Somchair Siwon Kraiputra / Older Brother / 27 / Medical Doctorate Candidate at SNU / Witty, Charismatic, Protective / alive /  Siwon is the blame for Chai's new career, and he won't let her forget it. He loves that Chai found something to put her frustration and anger into, somewhere that she can project it and be safe. He knows she's talented and won't stop her or anyone from going after their dream -- especially if he gets bragging rights and free autographed merch when they get popular. Siwon's always weary of his sisters being in romantic relationships though -- what if their partner hurts them? What if he's a jerk and I want to beat him up? What if, what if? He makes sure his sisters' love interests are under scrunity all the time, and rarely, do they ever, pass the 'Siwon Approval Test'. Siwon is always busy with work too, because of his current status in school, BUT he does make time for both of them -- he's willing to drop everything, even a few hours before its due date, to make sure his sisters are okay.
Phailin Hyejin Kraiputra / Older Sister / 25 / Engineer / Introverted, Just, Concerned / alive / Phailin... hates that she's only half-Korean. She had the hardest time adjusting to Seoul, not meeting beauty standards and caring too much about what others thought and shut herself out for a while, pouring herself into her work and career. She got pretty high up and is a well known engineer in her business, but she's now slightly estranged from her family. Siwon makes many attempts to stop by her work, to check in on her, calling her -- she doesn't respond in long words, but she does appreciate her brother caring. Chai does look up to her sister in the fact that Phailin does so much and keeps it all together. She does say that she looks up to her siblings the most besides Yoon Mirae, and hopes that her older sister can open up more and hang out with her sometimes, despite her shy tendencies.

FRIENDS:
Min Yoongi / Friends through Siblings / 23 / Idol - BTS / Blunt, Intelligent, Creative / alive / Ah yes, the pride of Daegu. He invited Siwon to shows, and when he first met Chai, he wasn't exactly keen on her. He doesn't know how to interact with girls, and honestly it felt like someone who didn't appreciate this kind of music that he loved more than anything was invading and judging him. But then he saw how her eyes lit up at this performer, mouth agape and then she turned to him and Siwon, asking a million questions and for recommendations of music -- he realized that there was just so much you could do when performing music that speaks to people. So he himself starting lowkey pursuing a career in making music, because he too wanted to reach people.
CLARA / My Child Let Me Protect You / 16 / Idol - 4xU / Anxious, Gentle, Honest / alive / She honestly didn't think much of Clara -- until she started thinking outside the box at her audition, rapping and pulling out her viola to show that she had something to prove. Clara doesn't remind her of herself, but Chai thinks that there's a lot more to Clara than meets the eye -- if only she'd only up and relax. So she's hoping that, through time and as much patience as she can muster, she can help. Potential shouldn't be wasted -- she knows that better than anyone.

OTHERS:
Yoon Mirae / Inspiration and Role Model / 34 / Rapper / Determined, Emotional, Competitive  / alive / Aubnjkewsdlk;gt if Chai ever met Yoon Mirae there would be tears, screaming, and a whole lot of fangirling. The reason she's included in the relationships is because of the impact on her life -- most people who were only half Korean were just made fun of and bullied. She experienced that, all her siblings did, but it wasn't as terrible as it could have been... But it still hurt, and it stung more when she realized that besides her siblings, no one really understood... Then Yoon Mirae came along. She got it, she put her hurt and her anger into words and it reached audiences everywhere. Chai wants to do that too.

forget about all the stupid little things.

LIKES:
- Java Jive / Coffee and tea (especially the caffeinated ones) fuel the everbounding energy that is Chai. She brews a pot every morning when she wakes up.
- Debating / Being raised in a constant learning enviroment and being encouraged to do this, Chai questions everything, which leads to debates -- she loves it. She thoroughly enjoys having intellectual debates with another person. It's a great way to hear what someone really thinks and how their thought process works.
- Composing or Writing / She's constantly writing, whether it be poetry, rap lyrics, song lyrics, anything. She's always got a notebook on her -- she prefers physically writing the words down than typing them. It gives it a more 'real' feeling.
- Pranks / God, she'll do anything from the shaving cream on the hand while you're asleep to the ceram wrapping your doorway. She just loves laughing and giggling. She tries to go by the "it's funny but not harmful or destructive" kind of pranks usually.
- Variety Shows / She LOVES variety shows, they have buzzing energy and she's always happiest when on a show that involves not keeping up an idol image.
- Underground / Chai may be an idol now, but she still frequents underground shows. That's how she got her start, and she's always looking for new talent.

DISLIKES:
- Hair Short / Don't try and cut her hair short -- she point blank refuses to. Her hair is important to her, and she'll argue before letting anyone cut more than two inches off.
- Bullying / This is a pasttime that no one really likes, but Chai has absolutely NO time for -- try and pull that while she's in the room or can witness it. She won't hesitate to put you in your place.
- Being Told No / Chai... Is spoiled. No doubt about it. She doesn't like being told no, especially when she's got ahold of an idea and she's set her mind to do it.
- Bees! / She's very allergic to bee stings and carries an epipen with her during the summer when bees are abundant. It's common to see her freak out and run from insects, just in case.
- Strawberry Jam / When she was eight, her mom bought strawberry jam with seeds in it. Little Chai did not like that.
- The Scent of Lysol / She HATES the smell of cleaning products in general, she can handle like, some air freshner that's SUBTLE but once the big guns come out, good luck. Chai is the worst when it comes to chores.

HABITS:
-running her hands through her hair when exhausted, annoyed.
-tapping her nose if someone has the same idea as her.
-slipping into tai when she gets angry so she can verbally rant without people understanding her.

HOBBIES:
- Watercolor / it's a rare hobby, but Chai enjoys how pretty watercolor paintings are and tries her hand at them when inspiration grabs her. (She's not good at it)
- But It was On SALE / Shopping. Girl will take a credit card and go wild. Beware online shopping too.
- Bend Like a Gymnast / Chai enjoys yoga and has gotten pretty flexible.

FEARS:
- Not being able to see in front of her (thick fog, pitch black darkness, etc.)
- Car accidents. She won't let the car move until she KNOWS everyone's buckled and the driver has given her phone to her. She's never been in one, but she does NOT want to be and will take every annoying precaution in order to prevent it.
- Anxiety/Depression. She's dealt with those two demons for as long as she remembers, and

TRIVIA: (will add more I swear!)
- Is often called "Stiff-Legged Chase" by fans and the group because her legs do look really stiff while dancing.
- When asked if she eventually wants to write a title track (or 2nd promotion track) for 4xU, she says it would be nice, but her type of music is more hip hop and rap based. "It wouldn't fit the overall concept of the group we're trying to go for right now." She'll explain.
- She is the most active on their social media accounts, and has her own personal accounts on top of that. Here is where she's active: (Twitter) @4xU_twt , @chaichase4xU / (Instagram) @official4xUwoolgram, @chaseadventures93 / (Youtube) @WoolimOfficial4xU, Real4xU / (V App) Real4xU.
- Her ideal type is someone who can appreciate music and that she can have 3am conversations with about anything and everything, physically, she says she looks for a smile. "You can tell a lot about a person from the way they smile at important people in their life."
- A HUGE fan of girl groups, especially SNSD, 4Minute, Spica, EXID, Apink, Tiny-G, etc.  She loves rappers too, so count Iron, YOON MIRAE (ofc), Noise MOB, Jay Park, Verbal Jint, Epik High, Drunken Tiger, Beenzino, Dynamic Cuo, San-E, Zion T, Troy, and Homme.
- Wants to appear on Chinese and Tai variety shows as well because of their diversity as a group. (Lowkey will talk about RM China because she's all about Zheng Kai)
- Will constantly baby anyone younger than her, especially females. Men she just is like "yes you're who's baby?" "asujkrfdsnOT YOURS" "Excuse u did I raise you to talk that way to me" (when she meets Seventeen pls make it as mom as possible because she's just an immature mom tbh)
- She wants to attempt a solo debut one day when she's more confident in her production skills. Admires Jonghyun from Shinee for his.
- Doesn't cry easily, she just gets really blotchy and red and her skin is just RUINED for like, hours after the fact.
- When asked who is the iest member of the group, she's the winner because of her body and her overall fashion aesthetic. She's mentioned interest in having a y concept to see if she really would perform the persona well.
- Chase was never a studious student, but she's enrolled as a part time student at Ehwa Women's University for Music Composition and Theory with a double minor in English and Chinese Language and Literature. She wants to be able to interact with fans in many languages and learn more about composition and theory.

if you like me, then say you like me.

LOVE INTEREST: Zhang Yixing

GROUP: EXO

PERSONALITY: quiet, friendly, humorous, family-oriented, respectful, overprotective, aloof
Yixing is a very quiet person when you first meet him. It's not that he's not friendly either -- he's a very nice boy and enjoys being around people. He just doesn't talk much, he uses actions and his expressions more often than his verbal vocabulary. He makes a lot of friends through his time in the spotlight, that's true enough, but he keeps them because he does genuinely like people and spending time with them. He's just a listener, not a conversationalist. When he does speak though, usually it's a witty one liner or a good joke that'll make you laugh, even if you were upset before hand. He's got a very good sense of humor and it translates well over all of the languages he currently speaks. Yixing is a family man, he's very close to them and considers his family a very important part of his life. He loves his parents and wants to make them proud no matter what. He sometimes places their opinion a little too high of importance, but regardless he just wants to make sure that he makes everyone happy. Yixing is also really respectful and not a rude person... usually. With his friends, all bets are off but if you're older or a new friend, he's very respectful and places your comfort above all else. Being an older brother figure in his group, he's extremely protective of those who he cares about and goes to great lengths to show that he cares -- even if it's not really necessary. This can cause some minor jealousy and envy in relationships, but he believes that it's healthy for a relationship to have such hardships, as long as the two people in the relationship don't let their emotions run away with them. Speaking of which, the boy can come off as very aloof or unattatched, when those who are close to him know it's the exact opposite. He's got a case of resting face if I ever saw it, but when he smiles, he lights up the whole room.

RELATIONSHIP: **I tried to keep it canon with what you've written already lmao foRGIVE ME IT TOOK SO LONG**
Meeting: They've met several times on music shows, in small interviews backstage and the like, but they never had a good 'meeting' until Yixing ran into her -- like, literally ran into her and knocked her down. He apologized, and then realized he had to go, insisted she find him after the show for him to properly apologize. She honestly didn't believe he'd do anything, and didn't end up finding him -- He found her, right at the end in the crowd of idols on stage before the announcement. "Wait for me after this, okay?" He insisted, and Chase was so shocked, she did. They got to talking, and when they got to the topic of composing, she revealed she was working with Yoongi on his mixtape and he was currently finalizing his own solo debut. Chase offered her number if he'd ever want a fellow composer to bounce ideas off of, and he accepted.

First Steps: They didn't see each other again until Yixing did the thing on 360 Show, but that hadn't meant that they hadn't been communicating. Chase had given him a few helpful talks late at night about his tracks he wanted to release, especially his title one, Lose Control. She messaged him after that, asking him how it was going. He then offered her to come and listen to it in person, and she agreed. Listening to 'What U Need' and 'Lose Control' just made her really happy. "It's like I understood both sides of you through this music. It really emcompasses you, these tracks. You should be proud." When the topic of Yixing's video came up, he mentioned he needed a minor female lead that didn't show her face, but that he'd be comfortable enough with to not feel awkward with. Chase offered herself, "Why not right? I'm here now, and I can make time for you." And so she became his female lead in Lose Control, which was helpful when he was doing some rather intense scenes and he needed to loosen up for it, since she was so outoging and silly, he was able to match well.

Friendship: After Lose Control, Chase and Yixing sort of just became friends and talked about each other every so often. A selfie here, a selfie there, even running into each other at music shows was hilarious due to Yixing's being easily surprised. At first, EXO-Ls went after her and Venus, but 4xU fans argued heavily that one) they were both fans, leave them alone and two) Chase is a natural extrovert and loves making friends, similar to Amber. She means no harm and is not "going to come after your oppa *rolling eyes emoji*" So that ended that debate real quick.

With that, Yixing was so busy with his own personal schedule that it was hard for them to actually meet up??? And do things??? Because wow he's a busy guy. So they mostly stuck with texting. Then one day, during a filming for another show, Yixing gets a text that honestly really worried him about Chase, so he calls her up. Apparently, she had had a fight with one of the members and was devastated because she didn't want anything to happen again. (This is because Yoongi didn't answer in time and she was like, really upset man okay? okay) and she just wanted someone to verbally talk to her. She even said he could talk in Chinese if he wanted, she just wanted someone's voice. So he did. He talked her down, sometimes telling her a joke in Chinese, thinking it was hilarious and only getting small hiccups in response, but eventually he got a laugh out of her and he just remembered feeling so happy that he was able to help her and never wanted her to feel that way again.

Chase started leaning on Yixing more and more, and he was happy to take care of someone, despite the distance. Whenever he was in Korea and not doing something, he'd offer to meet up somewhere or see if she'd like to hang out. The first time Yixing was over at the 4xU dorms, everyone nearly had a heartattack (bC IT'S ZHANG YIXING AKA LAY OF EXO HOW WHY ARE YOU??) but soon it became a normal occurance. Chase would chide him to keep better care of himself and his waist, and he'd tell her not to worry and that she shouldn't diet too much.

Yixing came to the conclusion that he liked her during an awards show, when she was dancing with IDYLL and he was like "yeah, that's my ideal type" and was like WOW THAT WAS NOT A FRIENDLY THOUGHT AND I'M STRANGELY OKAY WITH THIS DEVELOPMENT. Chase always thought Yixing was cute, but never developed super intimate romantic feelings for him until he leaned on her, because that's what she wanted. She wanted to be able to lean on him, and he leaned on her. He was up late (probs like 3 or 4 in the morning) and he was so worried that he was going to disappoint everyone and he couldn't think of anyone else to call. So Chase was there.

Flirt: Flirting for these two became sort of a "who cares about each other more?" kinda deal. Yixing likes to check up on her, she'll send him huge updates, he'll laugh and a little, and they spend A LOT OF TIME TALKING TO EACH OTHER. It's moved from simply texting a "sup" to actual video calls that they'll fall asleep on. Yixing's even spent time in her studio and she's flown to China to see him at work too, for "collaboration reasons" and NO ONE IN THE IDOL WORD ING BELIEVES IT BECAUSE THEY'RE OBVIOUS AF.

Relationship: When Chase knows what she wants, she might be a little implusive in how to get it. They were in the studio one day and Chase had a thought "I wonder what it's like to kiss him???" And she did like GIRL WHAT ARE YOU DOING??? But Yixing didn't seem to mind at all. They never really defined their relationship, honestly, it was more like a "hey i like you kinda let's kiss sometimes when we hang out". But Chase had a hard time balancing this new found 'relationship' and her other friends. Yixing wasn't always in the area, and when he was he wanted to spend time with her, and so she'd have to drop everything and go to him, at least from her perspective. And it felt like she kept doing that for him, and he wasn't able to do that for her. I can imagine and instance that she had a special concert or the like,a nd really wanted him to come, but he wasn't able to but she had been to like three of his concerts and that's what hurt her a lot. Basically, Yixing's really career focused, and while he can't control that all the time, he should be able to control his jealous tendencies and how she ended up like that.

Ending: ????? gdi i'm a terrible applicant I can't bE CONSISTENT FUUUUUUU -- But okay, so honestly, with Yixing's jealousy tendency, I'd like for there to be a ultimatium: Yoongi or him. Because while Chase would be like, "but i'm romantically attracted to you??? wtf???" she'd immediately pick Yoongi, because let's be real here, Chase is loyal hoe and will always go back to Yoongi at the end of the day. (Am I biased? Yes. My bias is totally coming out in this. Choongi ship forever.)

TRIVIA:
- She's really good friends and a flirt with a LOT of male idols, so Yixing easily gets jealous even though he's promised not to be and this causes a lot of their fights.
- Their phone conversations are much different than their real life interactions -- Yixing speaks a bit more on the phone, finding it less nerve wracking than being face to face and accidentally saying the wrong thing. It's still hilarious to look at their texts, though, because Chase sends these huge long responses and he's the type to text back 'K' unironically to say that yeah he read it, but he has nothing more to say.
- Chase has started to take lessons with Clara and insists on getting Venus' help when it comes to the Chinese texts he'll send when he's flustered.
- Rumors and jokes from fans telling them to be on WGM: Global so they can really test their 'relationship'.
- Fans started shipping them because of their cute and silly appearances but y personas they can take on the stage, especially after they started being more open with their friendship.

            LOVER #2: Min Yoongi

GROUP: BTS

PERSONALITY: aloof, lazy, passionate, genuine, short-tempered, caring, perfectionist.
Yoongi is like a human rubix cube -- once you think you've figured him out, you get a whole new angle and are thrown through a loop once more. At first meeting, Yoongi is a typically young man with an attitude problem. He's aloof, appearing not to care about anyone or anything, even coming across as rude or stoic, and utterly lazy. Yoongi doesn't like moving for anyone or anything, and will frequently verbally say that he hopes in his next life he's a rock so he doesn't have to move as much as he does now. However, the more you spend time with him (or how you're forced to spend time with him) you discover he's only passionate about very specific things. He loves his music, his career, and he definitely cares for his group mates and his friends. He'll work hard for his dreams, to make sure everyone succeeds, and it can take a toll on his mental health. Anything and everything that comes out of Min Yoongi's mouth or actions is 100% genuine, no faking here. He finds it exhausting to pretend, and therefore saves his energy for the real deal. He doesn't lie about anything, either, unless specifically told to do so or when he knows it's something that is not his to tell. However, Yoongi is infamous for his short-temper and his foul mouth. He will go off on the little things, whether it's whoever ate his last ramen or if someone interrupted his studio time, and it's scary when something big is dropped on him that sets him off. Cursing is like his natural tongue, it slips off easily and it's hard to control, even on camera. Despite this, Yoongi is still quite caring to those he's deemed worthy of moving for or thinking about. He's very selective, but once you've proven yourself you can bet there will be at least one text every so often that says 'eat something' or 'take a nap if you haven't in a while', something small that lets you know he cares, even if it's laced with 'menace'. Overall, when it comes to his work, or his life, he's a perfectionist. He wants everything to go right, because he's ed up so many other times in the past, and he couldn't stand to have it happen again for anyone else, especially him. When he doesn't get his way, his short temper flares and it's even scarier that you'd expect. Don't with Min Yoongi, basically.

RELATIONSHIP: **I tried to keep it canon with what you've written already lmao foRGIVE ME IT TOOK SO LONG**
Meeting: Yoongi and Chase met through her brother. Yoongi met Siwon through school and were desk partners. Yoongi, being class monitor, was a bit bit stricter than usual, and Siwon laughed a lot of him chastising other male students for their hair -- but he'd always get his turn, he found. When Siwon took it all in stride, Yoongi's strict personality, his grumpy and somewhat silly personality made him a good friend match for Siwon. They eventually got to asking the normal friendly questions, and Yoongi revealed his love for music, and Siwon ended up really liking the genre of Korean Hip Hop, sending CDs to his youngest sister, Chai. He talked a lot of about his sisters, and it was nice for Yoongi to hear about, being a bit estranged from his own family at the time.
Chase and Yoongi met when she had come down for that next summer, gluing herself to Siwon and in turn, Yoongi (much to his annoyance). Recently, since the summer started, Yoongi had been bringing Siwon to underground shows in Daegu, revelling in the music he so connected too. Chase looked like the typical young teen girl, who probably didn't care much for hip hop, so Yoongi didn't pay her any mind at first. When Chase lit up and started asking questions, and genuinely being interested in the music that got him interested in the same way: Who was this Chai girl and what was her connection to music?

First Steps: Once she got interested, they exchanged kakao information and kept talking every so often, but he was the one that encouraged her to follow her dream, having become a trainee recently himself. When she debuted, they weren't all that close still and they were busy. Not much really happened between the two until Faerietale disbanded. Chase was alone and very upset, and the only person she really would talk to was Yoongi. So she ended up going to him a lot. He knew exactly what she was going through, the uncertainity of the future, of the trainee life, of being put in a corner with what seemed like no way out. But he also saw that he didn't know everything from her point of view: her struggle of being a biracial female in a very homogenous society, of having to watch her hard work literally crumble and be taken away from her right before her eyes.

There were a lot of late nights, sleepless days where it wasn't music keeping him up. It was Chase. He was so worried about her and was very distracted, trying to balance everything. It was hard on him, and she was just so lost. So he asked the one person who'd know her better than him: her brother. Immediately, Siwon sent him dozens of poetry readings that Chase had done in her middle school years, snippets of her messing around with sound of word, even just long strings of her writing. Then it hit him: he knew how to at least give Chase the tools to help herself.

Friendship: So Yoongi used the one outlet for Chase that he knew would help both of them express themselves: Music. He sent her 'busy work', he'd call it, but for her it was everything in those first few months of disbandment. Just blank music tracks, no words, pretty basic stuff. He'd give her deadlines for lyrics, additions to the tracks. Yoongi inadverently started her career in music composition, writing, and lyricist work all in an effort to save his friend from herself. Meanwhile, he and Siwon had contacted her manager, asking her to look into psycharitrists, therapists, anything to get help. Slowly but surely, Chase came back to life. Soon, she'd be sending him tracks he never sent with questions and ideas, and coming over to help him with his stuff and to just chill. They fell into the friendship category almost seamlessly. If you asked them now, they'd probably wouldn't be able to tell you when they considered the other a friend. Or even when they became best friends.

Things started to change the more Yoongi was around Chase, though. About two years before 4xU debuted, Chase and Yoongi got really trashed for some reason -- and they shared their woes, their laughs, etc. And Chase started it, he swore. "I owe you everything right now." She had said. "You owe me nothing."

"No, I mean it." She finished off the bottle of soju they'd been sharing, "I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you." And he just looked at her, glassy eyed and his drunken mind trying to apprehend what she was saying. "You mean that like, figuratively, right?"

She just stared at him with those big eyes of hers that he couldn't decide whether he hated or loved them. "I don't know." She shrugged, leaning into him. "Hey Yoongi."

"What."

"You mean so much to me. Don't ever leave me? Anyone else could, hell--" She righted herself and looked at him again, "I could never hear music again but I'd be okay. Because if I had you, I'd still be happy. So don't leave. Ever. Please."

He decided he loved them and he loved her right then and there. Because he'd say the same thing, sober or not -- just not to her face, for some reason.

Flirt: Honestly, Yoongi's kind of been in love with her for like, years????? He didn't mean to, it just... happened. But he's so into being her best friend and being there for her that he hasn't really made any moves romantically towards her. And Chase is just so blind to his affections that she doesn't even know. But literally, if anyone who knew Yoongi looked at him when he looked at Chase, they'd know. Namjoon and Hoseok are the only two who really, really know how deep Yoongi's feelings run. So instead of being super assertive and flirtatious (because god he'd die before expressing that kind of affection) he did what he did best. He wrote about it. His love songs, the romantic, sappy songs, (looking at you, Let Me Know, Miss Right, Just One Day, jESUS HAVE YOU READ THE LYRICS TO DEAD LEAVES I'M JUST SAYING --) the sad ones, she inspires and destroys him everytime he writes a song about love. Even if it starts off inspored by another girl in his life, an ex -- somehow Chase worms her way into his lyrics and music.

You'd think that Chase would catch on, hell, especially about Dead Leaves -- but she doesn't. She listens to every song, every word, and feels everything but still can't connect it back to her and Yoongi's relationship.

Relationship:

TRIVIA:
-Honestly Yoongi is grandpa but Chase is older so really the group's like "what... is this combination no please don't"
-Chase gets possessive of Yoongi -- she honestly feels ignored sometimes for his career or for his fans.
-She sings 'Sugar' by Maroon 5 because of his stage name -- and then immediately regrets it when he pulls out something about reality because of hers.
-Jimin is literally both Chase's and Yoongi's #1 competitor for the other -- Jimin is precious to both of them and when he hangs out with one indiviudally, it's funny to see who's jealous over who.
-Because Chase considers Yoongi as an brother figure, it's hard for him to get through to her that his feelings are genuine.
-Fans have always shipped these two, at least on 4xU's side -- ARMYs, while accepting of their friendship, don't want anyone going near their popular 'oppa' anytime soon.
-Their relationship is so natural that it'd be a hard adjustment on both ends -- Yoongi with his openness and sharing and actually using words to confirm his feelings for her, and Chase to actually being serious about someone.

-Listen if Yoongi literally wanted anything from her all he'd have to do is say 'noona' and she'd be ing done. she's sO WEAK.
