Author Motivation Dialogue

Because I have too much to do and no time at all (i.e. I'm too lazy to do work). (And because I saw Ssem (informantxgirl) doing it. Hehh xD

The Facts

Question 1. Be honest. How often do you write? Could you write more?

I write everyday.. Just not necessarily fics or stories in general. I wish I could dedicate more time for my current ongoing fics or songs, but I'm burned out as it is with work, so for now I'll say I don't think I can write more.

Question 2. How many stories do you have uncompleted, including the ones not posted that you are currently working on?

1 ongoing fic on this site, 3 fics started but not yet past chapter 1 and 1 one-shot I promised myself to do but haven't yet started. Hehh.

Question 3. How many stories are you currently focusing on and are you consistently working on each of those?

Current focus is work. After that is the one-shot I have yet to start. Then it's the current ongoing fic here. I'm consistently working on work. Does that count? o.0

The Specifics

Question 4. What is the main story that you are currently working on, and what is it about? What is the main genre, the target audience, what theme is the story based on?

Work is about.. Work.. Main genre is boring factual stuff and target audience is suppliers..?

After that is my one-shot based on a K-pop song. Genre is I guess.. angst? And target audience is the general public. =)

Will You Be Kind? is an ongoing chaptered (and on-indefinite-hiatus) fic about an arranged marriage with domestic violence. Target audience is mature readers, preferably not triggered by the story or events in the story. And this is the story giving me the most problem because honestly I think with each chapter I write I give a little of myself in it and somehow in a way I felt like I've become too emotionally-invested in it that it gets a little too much. One reason I haven't touched it in so long is that I don't know how to continue. Another reason (I think I'm starting to realise) is that I've opened myself up more than I'm comfortable with, with the story that I feel the need for my own privacy. And because I can hardly get it in real life (surprisingly) I grabbed any opportunity I could, which is why I deserted this fic. I feel sorry to my readers but I kind of need time to refuel myself.

That is probably why I can still write one-shots, but I can't seem to even open up this fic on my laptop..

Sorry, too much drama =/

Question 5. What challenges are you having with your characters?

Cliche, too forgiving, too abusive, too dramatic, unreal... Hmmm...

Question 6. What challenges are you having with your story continuation?

It's just not going the way I want it to. Hahaha I'm sorry! >,<

Question 7. What are some things that you’d like others input on?

Anything and everything, really. Character and plot development, storyline, story flow...

I tag: Anyone =)
