the beauty compared to the some of the other members of trv, most certainly seohwa does not stand out. but amongst her class pictures she's always the most ntoable one, being more than a couple of inches past her classmates. with that comes her thin and lean frame that people envy- yet seohwa would sell her organs any day for jiwoo's brolic structure- she can't count how many times the wind has knocked her down.
and the ... beauty sowon is pretty, but that's all. she doesn't stand out from the rest of the general korean population, and especially the members of trv, her looks are femine with light brown coloured hair, a small face with the cheekbones that give off a gaunt look, eyebags and double eyelids. not to mention perhaps one of the best smirks / resting face of korea. 

STYLE everything goes. seohwa will buy anything that catches her eyes but will make sure to wear them in coordination- she's fashion conscious, and the type to look at her wardrobe and deem that she has nothing to wear. she prefers long cardigans and skinny jeans for the summer, simple shorts and a cute top for the summer. she's not the biggest fan of skirts and dresses however- her logic being it's hard to run after someone with a knife if you're in tight skirts.

growing up next to the west end and seeing plays every weekend is the source for her creativity. theatre is art in motion- specifically singing and dancing. that's what k-idols do for a living. there are times when she will just straight out freestyle dance to a song, or string random words during a ~jam~ session in a rhythm she's not quite sure where she got from. the only thing that holds her back is how she's afraid of unknowingly plagarizing a tune- she's most certainly learned from rap monster's scandal. 

honestly someone gift her grease remover for her next birthday because you will slip and fall on her charisma. she can charm probably the parents of her fellow group member if she waned to. she can hold conversations easily and knows how to hold them well. anyone has a potential to be a friend. and as everyone knows- laughter is the key to the heart so naturally, she's quite hilarious- but not "in your face" as much as her members are, big hit can only take so many jiwoos before they have a permanent headache. she's a sly fox iljin thug if you want to put it like that- think of jackson wang but not as loud and more sass. 

seohwa is literally that one friend who calls you a when you tell her of your plans for world domination, yet will probably join you too. she's logical but she's still caring. i really have no idea how to go into further depth so take it as it is, lmao.

yet everything seohwa does is with a facade. nothing is ever perfect- seohwa is surely an example of this. brought on by the constant competition with her sister seohwa doesn't have this thing called confidence or self esteem- yet she always tried to play it off with her jokes and humour. "i'm okay- but you won't be if you don't shut up."

honestly seohwa questions the possibilty of having an anxiety disorder- she's always been told that she's neurotic and she should "chill" but seohwa really can't. far too many times she's sitting on the ground and she can't feel a thing. nothing but the waves of panic and anxiety flooding over, tears in her eyes and shaking hands until someone can wrap their arms around her and rock her to sleep. it's nothing new- she gets the occasional panic attacks as a trainee but somehow debuting magnified the intensity of them- maybe that's because she doesn't rely on anyone to bring her out of it anymore. no one's going to look after you when they all have their own problems to deal with. the storage closet or the bathroom makes for a nice place to be alone however. 

if searched up on google, perfectionism is defined as someone who strives to have a flawless end product / holds theirselves to the highest degree of perfection. what they failed to write was how someone can practically kill themselves trying to chase after something unattainable. and for someone so logical seohwa can't and won't realize that perfection is nothing but a figment of someone who never hit the standard himself. 

seohwa is not looking for pity, so if you're going to tell her that "you're great, stop degrading yourself." then you can sit down. a lot of people look down on other people who seem to almost enjoy degrading themselves- as if it's a choice you can control. there's a line between people who can't help but to degrade themselves and people who do it for attention. and it's bolded, visible from the moon. seohwa falls in the former side- brought on by constant competition with her sister and advice from her mom that went "reflect and realize what you did wrong."- seohwa's mother missed a key part of the actual quote, and it goes "so you can do better next time." being placed under the shadow of the bulletproof boy scouts just serves to further worsen her. in the sense- she degrades herself because of her perfectionism.

seriously- for someone labled as the only logical one in the wild, ragtag group of friends known as trv, she cannot see how damn stubborn she is. it's all connected- that sounds like the illumaniti whoops lol- but she's simply qutie stubborn and it's why she can't realize that perfection is unattainable.

SARAH KANG ( "DID YOU EVEN KNOW IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY TODAY?" )there are so many quotes about how no one is perfect. clearly, they've never met sarah. some sort of a child genius- who got her iq tested at the age of 14 to come out with a gifted 135 points. she skipped the last two grades and moved straight into harvard, where she was accepted into their prestigious physics department- and consequently, gained the every ounce of affection and love from their mother. no matter how cliche the story sounds, it's true and it happens- take kim yuna's family as an example. sarah's relationship with seohwa was nonexistent- null and void. the first thing a four year old sarah did when her mother informed her of a younger sister on a way was to research pregnanacy and how the fetus developed. and it remains like that- they don't even acknowledge each other's birthday with nothing but a simple congratulatory text. it is only when sarah takes time off from school to fly to south korea following seohwa's accident- and knocks sense into her by telling her that their mother's opinion won't matter anyways- that they begin to develop a relationship. it grows when sarah is a closet k-pop fan who will sell her organs to meet exo's sehun- whom, seohwa happens to run into with her one time.

PAMELA KANG ( "DEAR MOM, THANKS FOR THE NON EXISTENT LOVE." ) it's an understatement to call them estranged. seohwa doesn't know what their relationship is and honestly it doesn't matter anymore, one seohwa gained the acceptance of herself. her mother was more so a benefactor than a mother because pamela disapproves of seohwa's choice in life- to become part of this whole "korean music scheme" yet- still provided her with tuition for sopa and money- but it was only because pamela wouldn't want to pick up her daughter's dead corpse.

"johnny jfc it's 3 in the morning beyonce can wait." ) (3) GFRIEND'S YUJU + because when yuju was asked to do changmin's high note from mirotic, she gained a friend in seohwa. yet, the two quickly became close when they both found out that they wre closeted k-pop fans of the second generation- a.k.a the people who 13 and 14 year olds were fangirling over now.
