[Author's Note] Genie – Chapter Seven

This is an author’s note for chapter seven of Genie.11

Yesterday was my four year anniversary on this site and I received the greatest present: Genie was recommended by Korekrypta in her collection Exo Fanfic Gems (plus other fandom pearls)! So thank you to her, to all the new readers, and of course to my old readers for showing interest and subscribing XD

Anyways, after seven chapters we finally start to see a lighter, more playful Kai. From an author’s perspective (or maybe I should just speak for myself), writing about a “dark” character can be fun in a challenging way (and it's something I've always wanted to try my hand at), but I’ve always enjoyed writing, reading about, and watching the comedic characters in stories more. What can I say? I like my drama with a healthy heaping of laughter and fluff.

And to Three Wishes readers, I bet you didn’t expect that little peck on the cheek and Ji Won’s hug to be Kai’s firsts. Did his reactions from Three Wishes make more sense now? He wasn’t disgusted by her (in case that’s what you thought), he just didn’t know how to react ^_^

Ahahaha it's very cute to find out that they're his firsts. And it's basically feels all over again from his pov seeing the grandpa all better. :")
Also congrats on 4 yrs!
And Korekrypta's list is where I found Three Wishes originally, so I hope it'll show more people hope great these two stories are.

I was squealing most of the time in this chapter. I find their interactions really cute >__< and her grandpa adds to that too. What a sweet old man. ♥♡♥
