[Author's Note] Miles – Part One (A Daydreamer's Diary – Chapter Thirteen)
This is an author's note for the one shot Miles.

Hope 2017 is off to a great start for you!
It’s so weird writing about Ri Ah and Chan Yeol again after so many years. If you were a reader of My Puppy Park Chan Yeol, you might remember the frustrations of reading about these two (90+ chapters, yet no romantic relationship between them), and now here I am jumping ahead two years in the story timeline and writing about them already being married.
I still feel rusty on my writing, and writing about characters I’m not really attuned to any more might attribute to that feeling. I did try to challenge myself by attempting first person present tense for the first time. I’ve always thought first person limiting and had a particular aversion towards present tense because it feels weird to tell a story as if it’s happening at the moment, rather than as if it’s already happened, but a good writer must be open-minded, right?
If you have any suggestions or critiques, please let me know!
