Fic writing questions! (stolen from minji who stole it from someone who stole it from tumblr)

1. Which is your favourite of the fics you've written?

Amber's Smile or White Lights. Surprisingly enough none of them is the most popular one, but oh well

2. Favourite piece overall?

pinboo's "Der Märchenclub". I have said this before and I will likely say it again, but I could read it a thousand times and still be just as spellbound

3. Which was the hardest to write, in terms of plot?

Double Digits, when that was still a thing, because EXO is not a thing I'm capable of writing. Also maybe kinda Ignorance Is Your New Best Friend? 

4. Which has the most "you" in it, however you'd define that?

Amber's Smile. It has the most 'me' in it because it's the most realistic one, at least in my eyes. Or maybe it's The Sufferings of Boo Seungkwan because I'm salty all the time, who knows? 

5. What is an image/set of images that you're particularly proud of?

Amber's depiction of Kris' personality in Ignorance Is Your Best Friend, or the paragraphs about Krystal and Amber's past in White Lights

6. Idea that you always wanted to write but could never make work?

f(B.A.P) medieval!AU (although to be fair it's still on the drawing board, I'm just very afraid of ing it up)
Chaptered stories in general. Because I at planning out chapters and then thinking "ah yes, this is where I need to wrap it up". So

7. Least favorite plot point/chapter/moment?

Everything in Midnight Train makes me cringe so bad it's not even funny

Krystal and Amber's reunion in White Lights ot the scene in Henry's truck in Amber's Smile

Amber in Ignorance Is Your New Best Friend, Henry in Amber's Smile, Joshua in In The Dark

10. Favorite line or lines of dialogue that you've written

The whole "I don't do nice guys"-part in Amber's Smile. It's more of a monologue than a dialogue, but it just... Makes me weirdly happy for some reason

12. What WIPs do you have going now? Are you excited about them?

13. Are there any things that might have happened in any of your stories, but you changed them at the last minute? (So-and-so dies, they don't actually kiss, main character has long extended ballet-based dream sequence, etc.)

Well... Henry in Amber's Smile originally started out being Yixing...... So that's one thing lmao. Other than that we have... Vernon and Joshua weren't supposed to kiss and end up together in In The Dark, but I felt it (ya feel?)

14. Does font matter to you when you're writing a draft?

Oh yes. In Word, everything is Times New Roman. On aff, everything is Avant Garde

15. 3 favorite comments ever received on fanfic.

My favorite part of this chapter is when you described Jongdae ducking under the police tape and him asking his co-workers about what happened. I felt like I was actually there, you know? Like one of the bystanders and straining to hear what the police and investigators were discussing.

16. Any mean comments? How'd you deal with it? Who laid the smackdown?

Let's be real here if I got a single mean comment I'd cry on the spot. Luckily that hasn't happened yet, so no tears!

17. If you could go back and revise one of your older stories, which would it be?

Everything before 2014 ASDLHSDGASÆDFØa

18. Do you make up scenes at work/on the bus/at the gym? Who are the characters that pop up the most? Do you write them down?

I do. I get small scenes playing in my head like a movie in all of the strange places you can imagine: The staff toilet at my old job, on my way to school, crossing an intersection, hearing something interesting, stumbling upon a new word... Ideas just pop out of nowhere. Most times my ideas are about Vernon, Joshua, Henry, Amber or Eric. 

The thing is, if I get an idea, I have to write it down, because I'll forget it otherwise. If I can look at the thing I've written down the following day and still 'feel it' so to speak, I start developing. Aforementioned mutant!AU came to be at 2:30 in the morning because of a logo I saw on a screen, and I've been working on it ever since
