Yes ;_; It always makes my day, my week, my year, my LIFE when they reply. I don't think authors realize sometimes how much a simple reply means to their fans. It's one of the best feelings. Even knowing that they are just normal people like us, it still means the world to me. <3

omds i still feel embarrassed but whatever- i was.. ok i am still one of those rEALLY 'persistent' readers that kinda get too attached to certain fanfics and get sorta pissed when the author just like abandons (<-- ok i understand that's a harsh word but i really don't like unfinished work- no not even that. it's art. xD) it or whatever, ide remember the situation lol but i do recall that i left quite a few comment along the lines of: "WHERE ARE YOU?" or "FINISH THE CHAPTER" in a nicer way.. obvs. heh
anyways, when she eventually came back she dedicated a section of her 'apology' to me which was SOOOOOOOOOO SURPRISING I WAS JUST. LIEK OMG SHE ACTUALLY NOTICED ME ... and then i realized that this is the internet.. and everyone can see how much of an i was... but yh it felt good to know that she cared. xD (and she did finish the ff btw ^^)

Keychained (an author of Krisyeol stories) accepted my friend request and I was like 'OH MY GOD! kEYCHAINED ACCEPTED IT AND SHE EVEN COMPLIMENTED MY PROFILE AND. . AND ASHKLJYDJFH she said it was nice meeting me' .

I'm like that all the time omg, one of my favourite MinRon writers has replied to every comment I've left on their stories (which is a lot because I comment on like all of them) and another one replied to one of my comments and I nearly cried omg. I'm waaaaay to much of a fangirl for everything

Yes, I know the feeling. There are a lot of authors I admire on this sight. Well I read a certain genre so there's actually about 5. But I get super happy when I notice that they've subscribed or have commented on my fic because I love their writing and stories. ^_^

Most of all though, I really appreciate the handful of my own readers who comment in every single chapter without fail. To the point where they analyze almost every aspect and character.

For those readers I go out of my way to reply with the same length and adress every question they have. Eventually the reply feed turns into a chat feed and we'll be talking about something totally different. Lol.

I'm not a popular writer or even close, so I feel really happy, appreciative, and honored when a subscriber of mine, and a consistent commenter visit my wall and post encouraging messages ad they wait patiently for an update. It's the best feeling. ♡

I also try to reply to every comment. I think I do pretty well in that. Sometimes I avoid certain pm's and comments though because they're on fics that I haven't updated in awhile and I feel really bad to be like: 'I'm sorry, I won't be updating this fic, I need inspiration' :(

As a writer i would love to keep contact with my readers and replaying to their comments and also accepting their friend's requests is the least i can do to show my appreciation and love ^^

As a writer I feel bless by people taking the time to even comment on a story and aim to thank them whenever possible, even if it's a simple 'I liked this chapter' Because it makes all the hard work worth it. And when some readers consider you like a celebrity in a way makes you feel good XD I have one reader who is my biggest fan :P She just get excited whenever I update haha.
