Hello everyone! I usually don’t make posts like this because I don’t want to be “that guy” on your notifications, but this is for something extremely important in my community. My best friend Adriana, who is an absolutely brilliant and hardworking student, along with several other students from her high school’s Tech Program have created a program called FLASTEM, and they need your support! 

FLASTEM is a program dedicated to helping teach elementary and middle school kids (primarily girls and minorities) about coding and robotics. This is extremely important as there are not many minorities who are able to pursue technology-based majors in college due to lack of opportunity and exposure to the material in younger grades.  

Luckily, Adriana and her group have made it as a top 10 finalist in Ford’s STEM Community Challenge contest! The grand prize will go towards funding the program so they can have a broader outreach with K-8 programs in our home state. Please help them out by voting for them at the link below! You can only vote once per day, but every vote counts. Also please tell your friends about this so we can get the word out there to more people! This is an amazing program, and I’m extremely proud of the work they have accomplished since starting it :)
