What is the Dog for?

So I am wondering, do you guys also have a dog on AFF? I mean what is the dog for, I was quite shocked to see a dog running down as I scroll down.

It was cute but I hope that I can change it to cat because I am a cat person not a Dog person, but Im cool with it XD

Everyone has it because it's an April Fools weekend feature. It's a dog because it's similar to the Friendly badge dog. If you use your arrow buttons or the W,A,S and D buttons, you can make it move.
