appearance : Compared to many, Minhee is fairly heavy for a KPOP idol, and this gives her a bit of reason to be self-concious. While many idols her age, such as Naeun of Apink, Red Velvet's Wendy and Seulgi, TAHITI's Jisoo and Stellar's Jeonyul (And much more) all have much thinner faces than her own, which is fairly rectangle-like, which isn't really the Korean beauty standard. Hell, even the boy's faces are slimmer than her's- EXO's Kai and Sehun, HOTSHOT'S Sungwoon, Legend's Lito, GOT7's JR (And still more) not only have thinner faces, but bodies overall. She has heavy bones unlike many idols, so she's seen as a "heavy idol," and many netizens and Koreans dislike this about her. They enjoy girls with rounded cheeks, and thus many knets often call her Rectangle Face. Her eyes are fairly small, but with some handy makeup that she and other makeup artists are experts in, this can become appealing, and her eyes can be made larger-seeming with white eyeliner on her waterline and copious amounts of black and/or brown (Depending on her outfit) in a cat eye. Not to mention, Minhee has ever-gorgeous, slightly puffy undereye that is found to be quite attractive in Korea. Her nose is very defined, and its bridge is very small, thanks to some handy surgery and genetics. The tip is quite rounded, and has a considerable width to it- Her nose is often compared with Yoona of SNSD's, for their similar tips, but nothing beyond there really looks similar between the two. Minhee's lips are thin, particularly her top one which has very little shape, and though the bottom one is small, it has a plushness to it, and her lips look fairly delicate. Her lips are actually fairly wide, giving her a stunning smile. Her skin is fairly tan (But her soft), which is another hit against her in the beauty department- She really only has a good visual to foreigners. If Minhee lost some wight, she would have partially defined cheekbones. She, admittedly, has also gotten surgery done to give her very minor double eyelids, but this was even before she even wanted became an idol, when she was a teenager.
She has a fairly long neck, but not nearly long enough to look unnatural, and it's in fact a very attractive part of her. Minhee's hair is thick and well cared for, glossy and soft like everyone wishes. It's not uncommon to see her with long, reddish-brown hair one day and short blonde the next. She's not afraid to cut, dye, and play with her hair, as she's studied cosmetics and beauty for years, she is confident with her desicions. Her body has "too much weight" for a KPOP idol. If she wears a high-cut shirt, she very clearly has some fat hanging slightly over her jeans or skirt or whatever she's wearing, which is totally embarassing for her, but no matter how little of what she eats, and no matter how long and how intense she exercises, she simply cannot loose more than a few pounds, and never in her midsection. She has an "innie" bellybutton which she is eternally grateful for, otherwise she'd never be able to wear a bellytop. However, her arms are fairly thin and muscular, from all of the hours spent carefully and painstakingly applying makeup with tense arms and hands, and since she exercises regularly, that helps as well. Minhee has a larger bust than generally accepted in KPOP, with C-cup s, and though many would think this would deter her dancing, so long as she wears the right bra, she's all good. Her legs, particularly her thighs, are fairly heavy looking, but in fact it's almost all muscle from her dancing and having to squat for long periods of time for makeup. Her shoes are a size eight an a half in America's women's, giving her fairly small and thin feet. Her toe and fingernails are always properly trimmed, cleaned, and often painted. Minhee takes no shame in saying she has a nice , because truthfully, she does. It's very full and round, which she takes gret pleasure in. Her hips are very present, and are basically perfect to hold onto. Minhee's fingers are fairly long and slim, fairly elegant, if I dare.
Her body modifications: Minhee has minor surgery done to her nose when she was a teenager (At sixteen, with parental permission, of course). She had her nose flatened so make it wider and the tip more rounded. A year later, she decided to go back under the knife and recieved double eyelid surgery, but it was a surprisingly small change. She also has ten piercings per ear (Seriously, her teen years were quite something), and a small tattoo on her right hip she got illegally at age eighteen. It's that design on the literal side of her hip, just much smaller. She goes to great lengths to cover up this tattoo, but also refuses to get rid of it because of its signifigance to her and her life. Minhee will take full responsiblility for any body modifications should the company allow it. Minhee has no regret for the changes she's made to her body.
Physical Marks: MInhee has a scar just under her left , and it trails about two and a half centimeters up it. It's very thin, and was caused by glass from the car accident she and Jonghyun got into in 2013. She also has a small dent in her right eyebrow from when she was little and slipped on carpet, slamming her face into the corner of a wall. It didn't bleed, but it bruised badly. For about an hour it was a dent in her face, and then it swelled up which . It ended up regressing into the small dent that show up whenever moves her eyebrows, and it's actually quite endearing should you see it. It's often covered up with makeup after joining Divine Nine, which pisses Minhee off a little bit- She really likes it, it makes her unique.
style : When it comes to fashion, though in the past she could have been considered racy and daring, Minhee now is lowkey and all about hiding herself, to be honest. She doesn't paricularly like being looked it, which is why she quit training, but she naturally looks good in what she wears. She's very casual, and likes to be comfortable. She tends to accessorize with bracelets and her many ear piercings, which she still loves by the way. She either likes to wear pale pastels or dark reds, greens, etc. She feels both can give her a low profile. She likes lace and leather, though not together- That's kinda ew, to be honest. Minhee may not be super into fashion, but she knows what's acceptable and what's not. She can actually be considered a very fashionable member, but she denies this completely. She really likes the victorian aethstetic and does own clothes that style but never wears them, they're more, like, costumes for Halloween, just...Really high-quality. When she's going for a girl's night out, she dresses a bit more like she used to, a little more y and revealing, boots and all, and attention-gathering makeup. Normally her makeup is pretty natural, but she does change it up sometmies. When she's at formal events (Not very often), Minhee wears long dresses- Short isn't her style. personality : Choi Minhee was born with an intelligence like no other. She always did well in school, in advanced classes every year in middle school and acing all of them. In school, she always had top scores in Math and science- the logical classes, above all. Minhee will easily be one of the smartest idols upon debut-She's even currently enrolled in Seoul National University, majoring in Engineering Sciences. She's not only booksmart, though-Minhee is extremely street smart as well. She knows who and what places to avoid, can tell with one look over what drugs a person is doing, and she can talk herself out of the worst situations imaginable. She knows how to fight a person of every body type and does it well. Minhee is impressive in this way. She was raised to be respectful as well- It's ingrained in her mind, and has been since day one. SHE BELIEVES THAT IF YOU GIVE RESPECT, YOU WILL ALMOST ALWAYS GET IT BACK AND THAT'S HER GOAL. Minhee even respects those who show her the umpost disrespect- Because she knows that everyone deserve it, whether they show it to you or not. She is one who lives by "repsect your elders" and will for her whole life. This is just how Minhee is, she lives how she was raised and tries to stick by these ideals, even if she can't do it always. Because of her respect for people, she has quickly become very tolerant in life. There are few things she won't stand you ding. Minhee doesn't care about yur gender/gender identity, your body type, your ethnicity, the shade of your skin, your scars, your attitude, your uality, your overall looks, your family, your friends, it doesn't matter. She's by your side and willing to fight those who make a big deal out of it or otherwise want to hurt you because of these things (And more). Okay, so that's kinda a lie because she's too much of a coward to fight but she's definitely got your back and will fight if need be, but she'd rather talk her way out of it. Words are great, right?;; Hell, she'll even listen to your lovesick rambles- Finally, someone will do it! Ahem. Moving on, Minhee is quite forgiving, especially since it's hard as hell to get on her bad side anyway. She thinks everyone deserves a second, third, and even fourth chance, just like with respect. You always deserve it, no matter what you've done. She hates holding grudes, because they hold not only you, but the person you're holding a grude against back from moving on. Isn't that an awful thing to do? That's possibly why she hates Juyeon so much, because she embodies everything that Minhee hates...Anyway. Minhee has proven herself to be an extremely adaptable person. She can mold herself to fit any situation she needs to. Say she was having an absolutely breakdown- The moment the CEO walks in she can force herself to seem bright and happy, like a total angel. She can change her personality, her expressions, her entire demeanor, whatever she needs. It's something she's learned to do over the years. She is extremely focued, and has learned the art of putting all of your attention on one task, on one thing and working until it's done. She's a very hard worker and puts her all into any task she's doing- Minhee doesn't half- anything, which is why she does so well in school. She really doesn't get distracted by outside disractions and memorizes material of any kind much faster than most people. It's because she doesn't allow herself to focus on anything but what she's trying to learn. Minhee is very insightful, and can look past the obvious, and past emotions to find the proufound meaning behind things. She's wise, in a way, and has proven to be a thinker. She's quite perceptive, which only fuels her intelligence.
Something about Minhee is that this girl is obedient. Just like with respect, this was ingrained in her mind and thus she does everything that she is told, no questions asked, even if she so painfully wants to ask them. Sometimes it seems like she doesn't have a mind of her own, following orders like a soldier, or a robot even. However, this can also be a good thing as it doesn't cause disputes between her and her superiors, parents, elders, etc. She waits for orders and follows them once they're delivered to her. Minhee is very romantic, and lives off of cheesy romance novels, depressing love movies, and little cute poems and because, really, romance is her thing and that's why she'll listen to you go on and on about your crush/lover/etc. She finds walks on the beach and kisses on the eyelids most romantic, and she wants to find that kind of relaiontship. Minhee is very sentimental and everything she owns holds emotional value for her- This is why she has trouble gettting rid of old things, because they're always holding old memories and lingering feelings. She can't force herself to rid thing that have sentimental and emotional value to her, and it's somtimes pathetic to watch. This isn't truly a bad thing, however, because she does put emotional value of peole and their gifts, and thus can make frIEnds easily. Minhee, following the family blood it seems, is very competitive. She strives to be the best and to do amazing in everything she does, hence she doesn't half-. This stems from her older brothers always doing really well, and they gave her a place up high to reach. They always competed for the best scores on their tests, on making the most money, etc. She's also very athletic, thanks to her dad being a soccer coach. She lives and breathes sports (Also makeup and science, but that's not the point), such as basketball, soccer, baseball, gymnastics, you name it, she loves it. Except golf. Whatever. She truly follows the family name this way. Sports are how she keeps in shape the most, which she adores.
This girl, more than anything, is weak-willed and a coward. This is also a key reason as to why she's so obedient- She doesn't have the will to say know, and it's surprising that she even has the ability to fight people when she has to, because she'd much rather give up and give in, which is unacceptable. Minhee lost her will to fight back in high school, hence why she's been in three different companies. She doesn't bother to fight to keep her place and that's why she gets pushed around so much, and why she will for her whole life. If it weren't for her friends, Minhee would honestly just be a toy to everyone who is cold enough to use a person for their gain and pleasure. There's no true reason why she doesn't stand up for herself, other than that her parents raised her to be obedient and not stand out, which isn't really their fault as they thought that was the best way to raise a child. But this doesn't chnage the fact that Minhee won't gain any will to protect herslf in the forseeable future. She is a very anxious person though (THanks to her generalized anxiety, yaaaay), and is constantly nervous about this and that. It's hard for her to relax and take a breather. It's not like she's convinced that everyone's out to get her- No, that honor goes to the world. Considering all the things that have happened, you can't truly blame the girl, but you know. She constantly seems like a nervous wreck if she lets it show, though most often she doesn't. Her nerves are quite bad, I'm afraid, and often keep her from sleeping and/or give her nightmares. Minhee prefers to keep these sides of her- As well as her past- A secret. She's afraid of judgement, of hate and pity, and thus though she doesn't lie, she often speaks half-truths or avoids the question altogether. Minhee doesn't want people to see her bad sides, and thus she tends to fake a lot of things. She wants people to be able to look at her with respect, not detest or piy and that's why she stays quiet and shuts up. Something fairly surprising, though, is that she's very self-indulgent, and overly so. She believes in "Treat yourself," to a high level, so much that she squanders all of her money on the things she wants. She's much too attentive to her needs and desires, and thus seems to be very selfish indeed. Minhee tends to shut out the world with these behaviors, allowing herself to drown in the tthings that she desires and gets for herself. Minhee, truly, cannot help but over-indulge. She finds herself regretting this, among other things. She's the definition, the poster child of "Stuck In The Past," and she can't let the events and actions she regrets go. Even though she if forgiving to others, she is not forgiving of herself. She drowns in these mistakes and hurts in a million and one ways because of them. She doesn't know how to pull herself out of the ocean of regret, she doesn't know how to swim to shores, and she's just...Drowning. It's painful to watch, if you care for her, because it doesn't look like she's getting better, and many doubt she ever will. Her family and friends know well that she is in pain, but doesn't let the wounds heal, and Minhee is jealous of those who can do such a thing. She envies people who had it easy, who had a totally normal family and life, just like many who haveor have had problems do. She wishes that these things didn't happen to her, that she didn't do the things she did, and she envies thse with the self-control to not make her mistakes. Minhee is insecure because of this, becaue of her weak will and her desire to only please herself. She finds every one of her faults and picks at them until they hurt more. It's the kind of self-descructive behavior she's known for years. Minhee wants to stop this cycle, but fears she never will be able to, and it's hard to see.
background : Choi Minhee was born on a very cold April morning at 3:17 a.m. to a loving family of a mother, father, and two older brothers at forty-one weeks and five days. Her parents immediately went to more permenant forms of birth control after having her, thus making her their youngest, first, and only daughter. She was a heavy baby, at 5.5 kg, which surprised her parents as their sons had been on the lower range of the birth weight range charts. She ended up losing some of this weight in her first few months of life, which was totally normal. What wasn;t nomral, however, was her left eye. The doctors immediately noticed upon her birth and initial chekup that the left eye was much less responsive than her right eye, yet she seemed to be able to see fine out of it, so it wasn't much of a worry. However, after a month, Minhee's mother noticed that her left eye seemed to be cloudy. Immediately, she was taken to the hospital where she was found to have cataracts. The doctor explained that cararacts were actually hereditary in her family, and that she and her sons hasd been lucky to escape without it. Minhee, however, was nt as lucky and actually had to have to have the lense of her eye removed. Due to her age and eye development thus far, she had it repleaced with a plastic lense instead. In 2014, was was discovered that it would have been much better for her to wear contact lenses instead, and get the artificial lense later in life, but what had been done was done. She was thankfully able to escape the post-operative problems that many experienced, and thus her time as a baby went fairly smooth after that. Her older brothers adored he new baby to death, and oftentimes Minho dressed her up in super adorable clothes and proudly show off hiswork to his parents. Minseok really loved to teach her how to talk and walk, and it was truly adorable to see the three siblings interact together. Minhee clearly prefered them to her parents, not that they took offense to this. When she was old enough to walk in stead of crawl, she began to get into her mother's makeup, a classic baby move. She loved to apply it to herself, the mirror, and her brothers who simply let her enjoy herself. She definitely went through the terrible twos, where she was a total brat, totally stubborn and did all the things she knew she wasn't supposed to. Thankfully, Minhee grew out of that stage and eventually startede preschool. She was very social and well-liked. Her father liked to spoil her a bit during this time, always sneaking her extra food or buying a toy that she incidentally had begged her mother for the day before. Minhee loved all of the attention,a nd thus behaved well so everyone would be happy. She started to play sports with Minseok and Minho. When she started grade school, she was instantly known as the smartest kid in school, but she was super happy and pretty popular. It was in third grade that she and Minho found an interest in something that Minseok didn't- Singing and dancing. Though Minho ws definitely better at rapping than the other two, they enjoyed it nonetheless. Minhee loved this quality time with her brother, exchanging tips and advice on how to improve. Minhee loved her life, more than anything. She was always taken on trips to amusement parks and zoos, always had more than enough to eat, was living a more than comfortable life, and had a whole bunch of friends, including Song Iseul, her neighbor during reading time. She'd started school a year late and they got extremely close, extremely quickly. They always have been and always will be best friends. Minhee simply couldn't be happier.
Until Minho was scouted by SM Entertainment. The first time he was scouted, he threw the card away, saying he didn't want to get into the entertainment world at all, much less by a guy who basically stalked him. Minhee was shocked. Why were your throwing away your chance at fame?! After many, many more attempts and cards from the SM Entertainment manager, Minho finally gave in, due to Minhee's extreme insistance. She knew that Minho could totally be an A-class idol, no problem. He was a pro at rapping without any training, and thoguh his vocals were less-than-amazing by far, his dancing was pretty good, and she knew with proper techniques that he could easily overcome these, well, shortcomings and be someone amazing, someone well known and popular. Minhee knew that Minho truly liked being in the limelight, no matter how much he denied it. When he started to train, he became a happier person, he lit up and seemed to enjoy life more, especially after he worked so hard to get there- In order to prove to his parents that he could do it, he stayed up three days straight to study for a test where he got into the top ten (PreviousLY he at school, to be frank), and that's when his family allowed him to join SM Entertainment. Minhee was only twelve at the time, but she was totally proud of him. However, it was after this that he started to pay less attention to her, and he spent less time with her. It was understandable of course, but she felt lonely and started to shut herself away. Minseok didn't even see her anymore since he was studying for his college entrance exams. She felt somewhat abandoned, even though she knew that she truly wasn't. Not to mention, her grades started to fall a bit as she started to take on too many extracurricular activities. She was stressed and overwhelmed. She found her solace in makeup- She loved it since she was a kid, and now started to experiement with it in her free time. It became a passion of her's. Eventually Minhee started to seclude herself and after her time as a "nobody" in middle school, started to act out in high school. Drinking, smoking, hanging out with the "bad" crowd, Minhee started her fall. She started to skip school, especially when Minho debuted. However, because she was still getting top scores, the school couldn't really complain. At age sixteen, she begged her parents to let her get nose surgery to change the look. They agreed. Minhee started to sleep around, and eventually was contacted at age seventeen by an adult film director who offered her a -ton of money for five minutes in an outfit she'd wear for fun to piss her parents off a bit. She accepted the offer, and she was well-recieved even though she was barely there. After this, she actually found herself reconciling with Minho, who upon finding out about it simply felt awful for not realising that his baby sister probably needed him. He offered something Minhee didn't expect- Come train at SM. We both know you're talented, and you could use a new hobby. Minhee thought about it before realising, hey, I can see Minho more! So she agreed, and thus started for one year, four months at SM. In February, Minhee broke up with her boyfriend of six months, and got her eyelid surgery. That month she absently realised she missed her period. This wasn't abnormal as she'd always been irregular (From stress, smoking, drinking, etc. which she started to cut out of her life more and more) and thus she didn't think about it when she missed her next period. And then a week or so later she had a particularly heavy one with heavy pains though she never had cramps before?
Yeah, right. She called Iseul over immediately (It was about one in the morning) who, being a midwife-in-training, had a pretty good idea of what was going on. When she tolf Minhee that, well, you had unprotected with your boyfriend, missed your perioud, slight bloating and nausea, you probably just had a miscarriage. Iseul never did like to sugarcoat things. Looking back, it should have crossed her mind, but of course that's what hindsight likes to slap in your face. Minhee decided to get a butterly tattoo on her hip to signify that part of her life- And her quitting of alcohol and smoking entirely. She dropped her "friend" and finished up school with nearly perfect grades. She had applied for the three top universities and Seoul and was accepted by all, but went with her first choice- Seoul University, just like Minseok. She went into Engineering Sciences, and took cosmetology classes outside of the school. She learned a lot there. Minhee immediately upon graduated her relaiontship with Jonghyun (Wait for the love interest section, I'll explain things there). However, upon SM Entertainment finding out about her tattoo, her probably-pregnancy, and the AV, well, she was clearly out. For Minho's and SHINee's sake they didn't reveal these things, but Minhee was left to find another company should she wish to debut, or at least be a trainee, she had to go. What was kind of funny was that they let her stay for a bit, until she was in the car with Jonghyun when he got into the car accident. She wasn't seriously injured, nothing life-threatening, but this was when her was cut and she got the scar. She also sprained her ankle. That was when they were done with her- It was bad enough that the two had some sort of complicated relationship, people didn't need to know SHInee's Jonghyun was dating again. Can what they were doing even be considered dating? Anyway, so she was out and had to wait to audition because of her injuries. While in SM she realised that she really had missed singing and dancing, and it had become her passion again. She was scouted for CT when Divine Nine's former manager found her dancing on her way from from University. She immediately went through a short audition process and was ine. Shortly after she got in, Divine Nine reformed the band and without Bae Juyeon. She found herself shying away from the band and Juyeon, prefering to stick to herself. After ten months, she left on good terms- She's hurt her ankle again, and healing was taking longer to heal because of it's past injury and thus she was let go with little trouble. Minhee moved out of her parent's house after this, moving into her own apartment. This is where Minhee's anxiety is rooted from. After moving out to live on her own, she became acutely aware of every little sound the walls made, ever creak the floor made. SHE'D ALWAYS BEEN AFRAID OF THE DARK, AND BEING ALONE IN IT WAS WORSE. This, coupled with being away from her family and rarely seeing any of them, caused her anxiety, which had always bubbled up undearneath the surface finally break fre. After she was certain she was healed, Minhee auditioned for another smaller company- Loen Ent. With their help (She was tired of relying on her parents) she got to see a psychiatrist who prescribed her some medication for her anxiety which surprisingly helped a lot. She was accepted, yet...She'd lost the spirit to dance, really. She'd been trying too hard for too long and her ankle just kept getting injured. Minho finally asked her to stop, one day. He said to focus on college and getting a job- Their parents couldn't pay for her apartment for the rest of her life. So she approached her dance teacher and begged her to help get her the open position as a makeup artist. Since the company knew her only as a dancer, they didn't know her skill in makeup. After pulling some strings and proving that Minhee was just as talented with makeup as she was in dancing, she got that job. She's been working there ever since, missing dancing but kind of scared to go back, in case she injures her ankle again, or worse- Her knee, which has been in an unstable conditon since the second ankle injury, unknown to anyone, even her. Minhee just kind of worries because it aches sometimes, but attributes it to her job.

hobbies :
• As mentioned above, the cello and piano. She's pretty good at the cello, seriously. When she was trainning in SM and CT, she wanted to play it on variety shows if she ever debuted.
• Ice skating, though she can't truly do it often anymore since she doesn't want to risk her ankle yet again.

Mother | Choi Mina | 53 | Minhee has never really been close with her parents, she was mostly raised by her brothers, but she and Mina sometimes meet for a breakfast or lunch together (Once a month or so) and go shopping should time allow. They're not truly close but they can speak fairly comfortably with each other, and Minhee loves her mother, and sometimes even tells her how she feels. Ever since she moved out, though, they really don't see each other often.
Father | Choi Yunkyum | 53 | Yunkyum used to spoil his baby girl a little bit, but since childhood Minhee has grown up and he's left her to her her own devices. They speak mabye twice every six months, and this is through a phonecall. Only at very important events do they see each other face-toface. Yunkyum is proud of his daughter's beauty (Even if others don't see it) and truly wants the best for her, whether she sees that or not.
Oldest brother | Choi Minseok | 27 | Minseok is really busy nowadays, so they actually haven't seen each other face-to-face in about a year and a half, but they do shoot each other texts when they have the chance. Minseok still loved his baby sister as much as he did on day one, and always will. He remembers to send her cards and gifts for the holidays, and sometimes he just sends her things that reminded him of her. He's really proud that she's going to the same university he did, and hopes to see the great things he knows she has in her come to light.
Older brother | Choi Minho | 24 | Minho and Minhee have a really different kind of relationship, especially within their family. These two are the closest siblings you'll ever see, and they know everything about each other. There are no secrets between them- Minho is the only person besides Iseul and maybe Taemin that she won't keep things from. They have an understanding with each other that's hard to describe, their bond is just so unique. Though previously their bond was nearly severed, washed away with resentment and the curse of oblivion, they've repaired it stronger than ever, and it will never be truly hurt again. Even death can't break this kind of link. One look between them is a whole conversation between them, a single touch will show the other everything they're feeling- It's something truly amazing, the love of siblings. Even though Iseul never fell into the habits of drinking, smoking, sleeping around, etc., she still stuck through Minhee's side and will continue to do so through thick and thin. Minho desperately wished to care for Minhee when she was hurt, but knew that with his schedules it was near impossible, and so Iseul did the job, and she'll always be willing. Best friend | Lee Taemin | 22 | taemin and Minhee met when SHInee gathered at Minho's house some time before debut, and due to their similar ages and awesome dancing skills, Taemin and Minhee instantly got along much better than she did with anyone else. Taemin is like another older brother to her- He really takes care of her like one schould. Minhee supports him a lot with his solo activities and has bought about four copies of his latest album (Hoping to get every version). She really loves him, seriously, and he loves her. Taemin shares all of his worries with her, and Minhee shares many of her's back- Taemin is someone that she really feels like she can trust with it all. She feels a sort of guilt, even though the fact that he debuted young and will have spend the best years of his life as an idol isn't her fault. She wishes he had more freedom, but such is the price of following your dreams.
Close friend | Kim Kibum (Key) | 24 | To be honest Kibum is yet another brother for Minhee (And Jinki is like a mega-close cousin but I wanna get this turned in so maybe I'll write that later) and they do share a keen eye for fashion. They love to go shopping together, picking close both in and out of the other's comfort zome/tastes (Depends on the day) and have fun just playing "dress up." They often break their diets together, if we're being honest. He does nag on her sometimes, but because she accepts this and appreciates it, Kibum also shows her his softer, more gentle and sensitive side. Most people only see his fiery diva, but he lets her see that he really is hurt by criticism that's too harsh, and showing that side of him to others is something rare. Even lovers don't get to see it often, no matter how close they are.

trainee years : One year, four months at SM Entertainment (2012-2013), ten months at CT Entertainment (2014), two months at Loen Entertainment (2015) for a grand total of two years, four months.
TRAINEE life : In SM Entertainment, in the beginning, MInhee kind of had it hard. She was still reconciling and running away from that dumb AV she acted in, as well as trying to quite her smoking and drinking. She was trying to set her life back on track by going to school, but it was hard. Most trainees and trainers knew her older brother was Choi Minho (He kinda made it obvious, if I'm going to be honest- "Yah, you brat, don't touch my sister!" you know?), and this caused a lot of different things- One being that all of the trainers gave her special treatment, always praising her even if she messed up really badly, which made it hard for her to improve. Minhee also endured hate from many trainees who felt that she only got in there based on her brother. While he certainly was a big help, she overall did get in for her talent, and thus she ignored the slurs she heard directed towards her, all of the insults and the bad blood. Minhee simply worked as hard as she could to improve, but finally she was kicked out after a year and four months, which was a huge blow towards her pride. After her ankle healed, she joined CT. While in CT, she actually traineed with Juyeon but never really got to know her. She kind of felt a bad vibe from her, no matter how much she felt bad for the girl, so she shied away. While in CT, her experience was much different and much more pleasurable and gratifying. She made friends with her trainee group, along with some younger male trainees who were like younger brother to her- Finally, people that don't get to boss me around that I can boss around! Minhee was known as the "Nice Noona!" within the younger male trainees, and many came to her for advice with love lives, help with homework, etc. She also befriended the female traineees, and was fairly social for the first time in forever. People brought their homework with them so she would help them, and she recieved many gifts and thank you's for helping them study and improve their grade. Minhee loved it in CT, but after a long and nasty fall that note only broke her ankle this time, but broke her arm, well, she had to say goodbye to the trainee life, and she couldn't bear to show her face at CT again after leaving for an injury. It was impossible to keep in contact with evryone in CT, so she simply let that part of her life go, while stubbornly clinging to her high school mistakes. After a long and tortorous recovery time, Minhee began looking for companies again, and auditioned for JYp, Cube, Acube (Now Plan A), Jellyfish, Ng, and more, yet none accepted a repeatedly-injurered trainee like Minhee- Until Loen. Loen took her in after a short audition process and set her in a trainee schedule immediately. However, Minhee just didn't feel the spark she used to when dancing. Her voice struggled a bit from overuse from trying to imrove it, and while her newest trainers were supportive and other trainees gave her tips, Minhee knew it was time to let being an idol go and focus on a different love, a different life.

Scandal + why : Minhee was shocked when Bae Juyeon approached her outside of the Loen building and, without a word, showed her a photo that could change her life. Reluctantly and with much fear, Minhee followed the girl into a secluded cafe where she was sat down and Juyeon told her everything that she knew that could ruin her: "I know. I know that you used to be an iljin, that you were in an adult film at seventeen. You must know that- With these pictures and all. I know that you got yourself knocked up, at least that's what you think- You were too stupid to take a pregnancy test. I know that you're a coward. So, what could you possibly offer me to keep my mouth shut and not ruin both you, your father, and your brothers, Minho-ssi especially? Well, I also happen to know you work with Divine Nine. Tell me everything. Break them into small pieces. In return, no one will know." The words had been delivered with malice, with greed and smugness, and it took all that Minhee had not to cry. Being the coward she is, she agreed- Her father couldn't be shamed like that. Minseok couldn't lose his job over this. Minho...God, if this ruined Minho's career, she would die. She would honestly die. And that's why she swore her loyalty to Juyeon. And Juyeon will surely be her ruin. Minhee, upon joining Divine Nine, was no longer only an information suppliant- She also began to quietly, unnoticeably, uproot the girls, causing mistrust and arguments so slyly nearly no one would ever know. Minhee would sabotage them, from making them extremely late to an important, career-changing meeting to getting the girls hurt- "Tripping" and taking them down with her, spilling burning hot water, coffee, tea, etc., pushing them when they happened to be near a short flight of stairs (Not enough to kill, but to bruise or sprain), dropping knives and heavy things when she found and opporunity while near the members. Minhee was and will always be digusted with herself. Because of Juyeon found out that she'd let an opportunity to harm them slide, it would be everything she worked for, ruined. Of course, she still slipped the dirtiest bits of information she could get, incidentally started rumors, and even got herself injured a couple of times to delay things.
Outcome : MinHee, truly, never stands up to Juyeon. There are times she tries but is simply ruled by cowardice and fear of what will happen. She allows herself to be used and played with like a doll, which makes her feel like the smallest, most insignificant person in the world. She truly wishes to love Divine9, to become close with them and be lifelong friends, yet with her constant exchanging of information with Juyeon quietly and unnoticeably causing arguments between members, she knows that if the girl knew the truth they would hate her.
in the end, what is Divine9's view on you? : And hate her they do. She tried to ruin their chances of being what they've dreamed of being. Some feel pity in their hearts, knowing she was being used, yet they couldn't find it in themselves to truly care. Before they knew, they accepted her as their bandmate, as their sister, but now...They can never be that way again.

Kim Jonghyun is a really gentle guy. He always takes other's feelings into consideration and tries to handle things in the nicest way possible. His actions themselves are soft, and Jonghyun can't help but be a soft-spoken person most of the time. He's also very accepting- A while back he made a post about accepting ual minorities. He doesn't care about anything that may be "wrong" with you, he accepts everyone and everything no matter what. Jonghyun is a very intuitive guy- He knows when somthing is wrong with someone, and he's almost always right when it comes to instinct. This natural ability to know things comes in handy, especially when to comes to relationships. Jonghyun is quite the romantic. Writing songs for his lovers, going on the cutest of dates- His favorite thing to do is cuddle. He seriously is the most romantic guy you'll meet, it's an air about him that screams that he's absolutely amazing in all aspects of romance. He's very accepting of people, but this has gotten him into some trouble with KNets who accuse him of stupid things like being a misonygist even though he adores his mother, sister, and Minhee. Jonghyun is a really busy person. He has barely any time for anything besides work, much less time for friends and family. When he supported the LGBTQ+ community, he got into a lot of trouble. He does his radio show evern night from midnight to two in the morning, solo promotions more recently, as well as SHINee always making sure to greet the antisocial, lonely girl.scedules. He write a lot of songs, takes care of his dog, he simply has a lot to do. He's quite stressed with all of these things to do- After all, being an idol is never easy, especially not for one tht's been going since 2008. All of these things Jonghyun can admit, but not the one thing that he hates to let anyone know- His insecurities. He's seriously not confident with his abilities, his looks since his car accident with Minhee in 2013. Without SHINee, he feels like he's nothing because there's no one there to hold him up. It's something that hurts him to his core.
background : The first time Minhee met Jonghyun? God, it was years ago, probably about eight, maybe nine? About a year before shiNee debuted, Minho kept talking about a hyung in his trainee group that he was really close to- Kim Jonghyun. He brought Jonghyun over once (Taemin couldn't come, he had somewhere to go with his brother), and, for once, Minhee was home. Jonghyun was immediately interested in the thirteen-year-old who needed a serious attitude adjustment. He noticed that she smelled of smoke and beer, and quietly brought this to Minho's attention. Minho simply looked down, sighed, and said, "I know." This concerned Jonghyun- His dongsaeng's dongsaeng was drinking and smoking at thirteen? What the hell was that? From then on, Jonghyun made it a point to visit Minho's home more often, and each time he made sure to strike up a converstion with Minhee if she was there, and each time he learned something new about her. It took years until Minhee truly let him in though- At age eighteen she admitted to having a crush on Jonghyun, straight to his face. Jonghyun was shocked, and hell, she was legal, but he was fresh out of his disastrous relationship with Sekyung, the one fans had ruined, and he wasn't ready for a new relationship, especially one with his best friend's younger sister, when he wasn't even sure if he was romantically interested in her. Sure, she was attractive to him, but at the end of the day, was she someone he'd spend his whole life with? He wasn't sure. So Jonghyun asked her to wait. When Minhee admitted to Minho that she wasked Jonghyun out, he wasn't surprised in the slighest- He could tell by the way Minhee looked at Jonghyun-hyung, that she really, truly did like him, unlike her previous buddies and boyfriends. However, he asked Minhee that she not try to encourage Jonghyun to date her anymore- Minho wnted to see. He wanted to see if his hyung would face him, face him and admit that he liked Minhee and ask for permission to date her, or simply say, "I want to date minhee." Minho wanted proof that Jonghyun would stand op for their relationship if things ever had to get to that point. And so Minhee waited- For two years. Jonghyun carefully asked her in the beginning of 2013 is he could kiss her on her birthday, when everyone else had left and it was just him and her. Minhee said yes, but things turned into more than just a kiss. Jonghyun had never felt guiltier in his life, but he pleaded with Minhee to keep it a secret from her older brother, begged her to give him time unitl he had the courage to do it with her. Minhee agreed, and things were silent for a long time before JOnghyun said he had to go homE. tHINGS WERE AWKWARD WITH THEM FOR THE MONTHS FOLLOWING, BUT WHENEVER THEY WOULD MEET IT IT WOULD START OUT FRIENDLY AND END UP WITH SOMETHING HAVING TO DO WITH . Jonghyun wasn't even sure what he was doing at this point- He couldn't just be a buddy with his best friend's little sister who had confessed to him previously, that wasn't fair to anyone, but he honestly didn't know if he was brave enough to start another relationship. He was still scarred about his relationship Sekyung, and he knew Minhee had her scars as well. It was a tough desicion. He ended up visiting home between Dream Girl promptions and Why So Serious promotions, to ask advice form his mother and sister. His mother was extremely angry at him for "playing" with her for so long, and thoguh Jonghyun desperately wanted to deny it, he knew it as true. He was as guilty as every other partner she'd had. His sister finally said that he needed to talk to Minhee. He had to know how she felt, and he had to make his own desicion. Jonghyun then called Minhee to see where she was. She'd been out with Iseul who'd just left. He asked her to wait where she was, that he'd come pick her up. AND he did. Jonghyun was nervous, and he was distracted as he drove. He asked Minhee where she felt they were in ttheir relationship. She told him honestly that she still felt like she was in love with him, that those feelings had never changed. Minhee, in turn, ask him what he wanted from her- Was he playing around? Was she just there for ? Jonghyun felt pressured as well, and just as he opened his mouth to answer Minhee screamed. The car hit the rails and everytyhing was confusion and panic. The air bags deployed and Minhee had just enough time to cover her face. Being the driver, Jonghyun did not have that luxury. It was a horrific night. The glass broke and shattered all over them. Minhee was bleeding and Jonghyun could barely breathe. They were transported to the hospital. After all was said and done, Jonghyun left like absolute for being the cause of her finally being removed from SM Entertainment's trainee list. Minhee assured him it was okay, and to focus on getting better. Finally Jonghyun cracked right then and there and admitted he wanted a relationship, just not right then, that he wasn't ready. Minhee simply smiled and said she'd wait. On April 21st, 2014, jONGHYUN ASKED Choi Minhee to be his girlfriend- After shyly asking his best friend and dongsaeng for permission.
relationship : Jonghyun and Minhee are grossly lovey-dovey, just not in public. They have no intentions of announcing their relationship to the public for a very long time, especialy since Minhee's apparently going to debut. Jonghyun's really happy for her, but he's worried about her getting hurt again, not to mention there's something really strange about her recently. He tries not to bother her about it, but in reality Jonghyun's really worried that something's happened. He knows she doesn't have the strongest of wills, so he's afraid someone's pushing her into a corner yet again. He also knows, though, that Minhee hates to wrory him, so all he does is shower her with extra love and kisses owhen they see each other. They actually go on dates all the time, though- Just at one of their apartments, is all, or at a place where Jonghyun or Minhee knows the owner who will set things up so they don't get seen. They're a totally skinship-y couple. What do you expect from a girl who loves physical contact and the Skinship King? Small kisses, lingering touches, hugs, they're seriously gentle with each other. Since they've officially started going out, they sleep together a lot less but of course it still happens. Minhee stays up every night to listen to Jonghyun's radio show, and sometimes stays up the whole time to call him after, but most of the time she lays there and lets his voice ljull her to sleep. Jonghyun is always doing sweet gestures, like making her lunch, kissing her forehead or eyelids (Which is her favorite, honestly), or simply cuddling with her. Their favorite thing to do together is to just lay their, one's head in the other's lap and playing softly with their hair, often a soft song accompanying it. It's so soothing, so wonderful...Jonghyun often writes songs for Minhee. and she loves that an undescribeable amount. It's just so sweet. They, like any couple, do have their fights though, mostly about Jonghyun's busy schedule and their limited, hurried times being the only times they see each other most of the time, nowadays. Minhee of course understands why, but it doesn't make her miss him any less. It's aslo stresfful to act like nothing more than friends in. Which SHINee or their families, they know it's okay TO ACT NORMALLY, but Minhee doesn't trust DIVIN9 YET ENOUGH TO TELL THEM ONE OF HER MOST GUARDED, IMPORTANT SECRETS. tHEIR COUPLE ITEMS INCluDE: 1 2 3 4 5. If we're being honest, the Divin9 members are always asking and teasing Minhee about the mug and pillow- They're so obviously couple tems, and the girls seriously are trying to find out, like going through her phone and stuff. Good thing Minhee has Jonghyun saved under "Pup." Literally, that's his contact name, and she keeps no picture on the contact (Though she does have quite a few pictures of him, as well as him and her locked in a secret file on her phone). The girls are sorely disappointed about that and want to know desperately who it is. Couple names! To be honest, when Minhee and Jonghyun reveal that they're "friends" since she's Minho's little sister they do gain a shipping fanbase and their "ship name" is JongHee. Jonghyun calls Minhee Sweetheart (Not in public, of course) and she simply calls him Jjong, Jonghyun, and possibly an oppa at the end of those is she feels like.
