Short and bright blonde, long and curled dark brown, black with a blue undertone, red, she doesn't care, she just loves to change it. It makes her feel really free and happy, and despite all of the dye it's still super healthy. Koyuki really loves piecings, and has gotten ten on each ear through the past five years. She kind of wants more but her parents are just kinda like...No, you have enough. But she really wants a belly button piercing so she can wear this. Sooyun's very pale and has soft, well-cared for skin, and a really adorable mole right under her left should blade.
 
Despite her augmentation, she has little bust, as she felt that anything over a B Cup would look strange on her chin and small body. Koyuki chose to have the incision under her s, leaving fair scars that few see because, well, not many besides the band see her topless. Luckily enough for her, she started horomones before puberty was over (In fact, it had barely started), and was naturally able to gain the rest of her feminine shape. Sooyun didn't stop her surgeries there, though- No, she wanted to feel fully who she was, and  basically went the whole nine yards. she's had a tracheal shave which has left a small scar, about 3/4" under her chin, which is hardly noticeable, especially with the right makeup.
 
Fortunately she was able to skip hairline correction, but she's had forehead contouring, a brow lift, rhinoplasty, minor cheek inplants, and chin and jaw contouring. Sooyun always naturally had a good range of high and low, and she always actually had a distincty female voice, so she did shy away from vocal cord surgeries so as not to affect her singing. Naturally, Koyuki has some minor scarring from her gender reassignment surgery on what is now her . She's completely satisfied with her surgeries.
 
style : Koyuki loves fashion more than anything- Wait, that's a lie, she likes ice cream with strawberry sauce and Greek Gods and elephant reproduction more- But it's in her top four. Sometimes she prefers to be edgier, but other times cute and innocent is what she likes. It really depends on how she wants people to see her. Sometimes she purposefully wears garish clothing so people will look at her with more than just "She's cute," "She's hot," and "She's ugly." She doesn't liked being looked at in the same three lights, so she purposefully changes things up. That's another reason why she changes up her hair so often. This girl loves to how off her body, particularly in the dorm and at Vudu. She loves to accessorize, be it flower crowns, earrings, bracelets, different kinds of rings, gloves, leather and lace thigh straps,  other various types of things, etc. She loves to wear skirts and skinny jeans, and thigh-high boots. She isn't a fan of animal prints, though, so don't make her wear any. Her favorite tops have to probably be blouses, but plain black shirts are wonderful as well. And don't forget dresses! When she sleeps, Koyuki definitely prefers lingerie. It makes her feel gorgeous. Her makeup is always on-point, normally fairly natural and just to show off the best parts of her face, but sometimes she likes to go a little more out there and do bright colors or something totally bold.

background : In the early morning hours of April 22nd, 1994, in a well-known town Kyoto, a baby named Nakamura Yuki was born. The parents of thi child were very happy, overjoyed even, and swore to give their child all of their love. While it was truth they both worked high-end jobs, they wanted someone to be their for the slightly-premature child, and thus the mother quit her job. Her husband's job paid much more than enough, and she'd been saving all of her life. They would alwasys be able to provide for this baby, whatever they needed. The parents were Korean yet living in Japan, and thus their son was taught Jpanese as his main language and Korean as his second. He was quite intelligent and pretty popular in school for his positive attitude and social way of life. He, however, found himself quite unhappy. He knew from the start he wasn't a boy- As long as he could remember, he knew that he liked the girls clothes better, and that makeup was fun and he enjoyed wearing his mom's heels. And when he was six years old, he told told his parents how he felt.
 
They, understandably, were surprised when their son came and said, "You know I'm a girl, right?" but they were not shocked, because when those words were expressed to them, they just felt as though it was true, right. That they really had a daughter instead of a son. They'd moved out of Kyoto to Osaka four years after Yuki was born, but this time moved again, so they could enroll her in a school run entirely by their close childhood friend, Fukuda Kanae. Because of her pulled strings, they could enroll Yuki as a female student. The only thing they asked of Yuki was to never undress herself in front of the other girls. They did not sugar coat any of it and Yuki appreciated that. She was not as well-liked in her new school since peole said she looked like a boy, but she made close friends. In the summer between elementary school and middle school, Yuki's parents sat her down and asked if she'd like to change her name. It was a big desicion, but she eventually said, yes, I do.
 
Her name was now Nakamura Koyuki, and she'd never felt happier. It was around here that Koyuki began to develop her interest in music- Particularly rapping. It was something fun she'd do when listening to the radio, and as she got older she began to start making her own raps. She did best in her music classes, and started to compose songs and write lyrics. Shortly after, her parent's close friends came to visit, bringing along their two sons- Choi Minseok and Choi Minho, the latter of whom was also iterested in rapping. They bonded greatly and exchanged emails and later on phone numbers, and became close friends. Her life was good, but it only got better when her parents surprised her on her thirteenth birthday with her first set of horomone injections. She cried for about an hour before finally calming down. She was just so relieved. Koyuki's role-model at this time was Aya Kamikawa- The only openly transgender official in Japan. She was amazed at her bravery, and wanted to be like that. But not yet, she wanted to bide her time.
 
At age fifteen, Koyuki started her Youtube channel, popityo. She went by "Pop" and released a few covers of Japanese and Korean songs, but didn't garner a large fanbase until her release of the self-composed track かけてあげる, as her own celebration of starting to get surgeries done. Koyuki was contacted through her fan email by many companies, until Avex Trax came into the picture. After a long talk with her parents, Koyuki accepted to meet them in person at their building as soon as the marks from her first few facial surgeries started to fade. She was nervous as hell, but went for her edgier clothing and walked confidently inside. She got a lot of long looks and hungry gazes, which boosted her confidence further. She went in with her parents, had a long talk with a lot of people, and a few days later signed to Avex Trax and was already working on a solo single.
 
They told her straight out that she'd be put in a group not too long later, and then she replied straight out with tell I'm trans so I hope that doesn't bother them. At the time, she's had her tracheal shave, chin and jaw contouring, her augmentation, and of course her very first- Her forehead contouring. The CEO and other various important people were shocked, but after a quick discussion they decided that her talent was definitely worth it. She was very pleased with how things were turning out- She got a fair amount of respect from the staff, and her future bandmates were totally cool, one even revealing that their cousin was female to male. Her life was great. She made her solo debut on April 3rd, 2011 with Suki, and then released another solo single, Tomorrow's Way. She was then officially added into Mirror, who debuted on October 5th, 2011 with Departure.
 
It was in dECEMBER THAT SHE REVEALED THAT SHe WAS A mtf TrANSGENDER, AND THAT SHE HOPED THEIR FANS WOULD CONTINUE TO SUPPORT mIRROR- aND THEY DID. Koyuki then had the official gender reassignment surgery. She still had a few more "cosmetic" surgeries to go, but she was so happy, she felt so freed. On February 14th, 2013, Yoake No Ryuuseigun but shortly thereafter both their main vocalist and Koyuki cut their contracts. tHEIR MaiN VOCALIST'S MOTHER WAS SICK AND HAD NO ONE ELSE TO CARE FOR HER, SO THUS SHE LEFT, BUT FOR kOYUKI, SHE WANTED TO MOVE ONTO SOMETHING DIFFERENT. sHE MUCH BETTER ENJOYED living in Korea- And how did she know? For Christmas she'd taken a vacation to see her grandparetns for a few weeks and it was the best she'd ever felt. She absolutely adored it there, and knew that Korea is where she wanted to be, and that KPOP is the career that she wanted to pursue.
 
She'd already auditioned for SM Entainment who had accepted her more based on her Japanese fame than anything, and thus she and her best friend moved to Seoul. It was sad, leaving her parents behind, but she had to grow up some time, right? After all, she was eighteen. So she and seventeen-year-old (But already graduated) Watanabe Hairi moved into a sizeable apartment together in the heart of Seoul. Koyuki chose the name Kim Sooyun, and Hairi went with Lee HaEun. There were trainees who knew who Sooyun was were between shock, disgust, and awe. She didn't care. She trained hard in rapping and singing, and became passabe at dancing, while HaEun got a job and started college. In November of 2013, she released a "predebut" single for her supposed Korean debut, Secret Love.
 
She actually hated the song, but worked hard and had, like, one performance of it before she went back to a normal trainee. She finished up her surgeries with a brow lift, a rhinoplasty, and her cheek implants. She felt exactly like the gorgeous woman she was, and Sooyun felt like her life could only go up. After some more ty lies from SM about how they would definitely debut her soon, the more conservative KPOP fans started to attack SM for housing "such a disgusting person." After a lot of talking, SM and Sooyun agreed it was best for her to leave the company, and thus Koyuki started to audition for smaller companies. She was accepted into Vudu and was overjoyed. Her life only got better, as she met people like Ichigo and Gayoung. She trained hard and made close friends who could truly understand her.

- Unlike many MTF's, she embraces her life with a male body as much as she does with a female body. She doesn't see the point in feeling disgusted about when she had a and no shape and minor facial hair, because that's how she was born and loved and now she's loved as a female as well. There's no point in forsaking who you were, even if it sometimes felt uncomfortable or scary. She hates meeting other MTF's who hated their life and body before horomones and surgery. They're much too negative for her.

Hairi is extremely intelligent, and skipped her first year of high school, but her rue passion lies with animals, and thus she works at, coincidentally, the same animal shelter/vet that Maiha's husband owns and works at She's a total baby sister to Koyuki, and she even calls her Onee-chan. Seriously, they know the deepest and darkest corners of each other's minds. There's no secrets between them and they're totally comfortable with each other. HaEun never cared about Ko-onee-chan's gender because she loved Koyuki no matter what. They're the friends that scream "Hello beautiful!" when they see each other in the morning, cuddle for hours, and are always arguing over who's the cutest (You, obviously!). Minho is definitely the older brother that Koyuki never had until she was eleven, twelve. When he visited her place, his parents already told him that she had a boy's body but was a girl, which Minho and his brother took in stride, since their parents were pretty open. Minho is someone that Koyuki really loves with all of her heart, and would die for. They're often playing sports like basketball, soccer, or even swimming when they're together, or apping, or just talking. Minho and Koyuki text and call each other 24/7 because for some reason Minho seems to be the least busy of SHINee so they're always updated on the other. Koyuki says they understand each other on a spiritual level. Of course, she also says they're each other's spirit animals but I digress. Koyuki has zero problem being and/or changing in front of MInho, because she rightfully tusts him. 10/10

She's now an extremely successful soloist and is aiming on making her mark in Korea, though Avex is holding her back from that. Maiha has since gotten married to Lee Jaeseok (FC: Woohyun), a vet, and moved to Korea with him. They have a daughter, Lee Kotori Iseul. She lives in the suburbs of Seoul, and is a kindergarten teacher. She visist Koyuki all the time and vice-versa, and they often just laze around with Iseul and feel comfortable, maybe talk about a book or something that hapened recently. TRAINEE life : In all honesty, SM Entertainment for Sooyun. Many trainees said that she made it there because of her fame in Japan- Which is true, not that her naive self knows that- And many people hated and were digusted with her for being transgender. She basically told her friends many times that those people can go themselves, but of course it hurt a bit. Not to mention, some were daring enough to get into physical fights. Too bad for them, she learned judo when she was younger~ Not to mention, SM Entertainment constantly told her they'd debut her soon, give her a Korean career, whatever. Never happened, and she knew it wasn't going to, so she moved onto Vudu Entertainment, where she was ecstatic to meet other MTF transgenders like herself. She was able to be her weirdo self around them more than anyone, and even made a close friend. She learned a few tips in Vudu as well, where in SM they repeated the same things over and over again.
 
predebut : "Pop" originally started out in 2010 when she released a self-composed track on her Youtube account, PopItYo, titled "かけてあげる." She gained a lot of attention for her breathy and light rap, and even though her true skills were in deep, rough and low rap, she kept it to herself. A year later, she debuted as soloist in Japan in 2011 with the ballad "Suki." (Skip to nine minutes). A few months later she released "Tomorrow's Way." She then joined the JPOP band, Mirror, making it four members, and they released Departure in 2011, and Yoake No Ryuuseigun in 2012, but Sooyun dropped from the group and moved to South Korea. She had small song release in 2012, Secret Love, but was barely sold except for in Japan. lipstick CF in 2015, but past that nothing in Korea, which has disappointed her fanbase in Japan, who miss her a lot.
 
scandals : Soloist + Mirror Member Pop Comes Out As Transgender! | 2011, ahe admitted that she'd been taking horomones starting at thirteen and started having surgeries at a while before Suki, and would be getting the main one right after Departure. Previously no one knew that her body was male.

background : Kim Jonghyun and Nakamura Koyuki first met when she first moved to Seoul, South Korea. Immediately upon hearing that she'd touched down, her childhood friend, Minho, who just happens to be SHINee's Mnho,insisted on having her meet his band. They'd heard all about her for years- They were like brother and sister, apparently, and Minho adored the girl to absolute death and beyond. They all knew very well that she was from that now-disbanded JPOP band, Mirror, and that she was transgender, and it truly didn't bother them, particularly Jonghyun, who's even known for openly supporting the  LGBTQ+ community, though not at that point. Anyway, Minho and Koyuki has set up to meet in a private little cafe thatMinho was very close to the owner of, and would even close the shop to just sere them until they felt like parting. Their meeting was really pelasant, Sooyun being quite social and fun to be. He immediately got he impression that she'd be a 4D kind of girl, and damn was he right. He immedately saw that Minho was majorly protective over her, and he got why- She had a kid of complicated position she was in, she was precious, and she was just he kind of person you wanted to tuck away in your pocket forever. She immediately took a like to Jonghyun and Kibum, and the three found thsemselves often hanging out, though she did exchange numbers with all the SHINee members, and can call all of them friends.
 
relationship : Since that day, Jonghyun totally fell for this crazy girl. She was everything he ever needed- Someone who could share her confidence with him, who could lift him up yet also be so awful sometimes it hurt- After all, not every relationship and certainly not ever person could be perfect, and he loved that she accepted her flaws and allowed herself to be absolutely stupid but still could say tha she was amazing to herself at the end of the day. He admired that she was completely open about her gender identity, and that she had made sure that she was comfortable in her own skin. He loved her beauty and her pride in her body, and that she knew she was talented, and still spoke to her bandmates though they've been disbanded for about five years now. He loves her fashion sense and her scars and her everything. And honestly? Koyuki could say all of those things about him. When Jonghyun got into that car accident, that was when she realized how much she cared about him, because these utter, ice cold fear she felt in her heart and body the moment Minho called her and spoke those words spoke volumes to her. How had she come to care about him so much in those one and half-odd years? And it was only a few months later, just before Everybody promotions that Koyuki expressed these feelings. It wasn't because she was scared- It was because she worried for him. His last relationship with that actress, well, from what he'd told her, it hurt when it ended and had gone downhill when the media found out. So when she told him, her next words were "Don't say yes until you're sure. I can wait." And so Jonghyun asked her to wait. It wasn't until April 2nd, 2014 that Jonghyun answered her.
"I want to try," He whispered earnestly, his arms tightening around her small frame.
And thus they tried, and they're still together to this day. Jonghyun is an amazing lover to her- He's always send her a good morning text normally consisting of:
"Good morning Beautiful! Don't forget to smile. Saranghe~ <3"
They're puke-worthy, to be honest. They are that chliche where the singer writes love ballads for their lover, but sometimes per her request he wries dance songs instead so she can make and practice choreographies. Even though she can't dance or choreograph. He does it for her anyway because he loves her. Koyuki will often send him little clips of her rapping something for him, or a crap ton of selcas because she loves to. She also reserves "Fighting!" selcas for Jonghyun and Minho only~ Kibum if he really needs it. Jonghyun will definitely send some back if he has the time. No matter where Koyuki is (Unless she's recording something, be it a performance or a show), she listens in to Blue Night Radio, and it's her dream for Domino to go on there for debut or a comeback or just whenever. These two are totally a skinship couple (How can they not when it's Jonghyun and a confident social butterfly?) and haeve no qualms against cuddling or kissing- In fact, it's their favorite thing. But their best times together are when one's head is in the other's lap and they're simply running their fingers through the other's hair, maybe singing if it feels right. Those are some of the most loving times, the next is simply lying around in bed together, just to feel each other, and feel love. They do sleep together, as they've been together for a long time, but neither were each other's first, and they accept that things can't always be fairy tale perfect.
It's this same reasoning that makes thing hurt less when they fight. tHough they are abolutely loving, every couple has to fight. Koyuki's confidence gives Jonghyun a boost, but sometimes she gets frustrated when this beautiful, amazing, talented man can't see his own self-worth. And when Jonghyun is all around overseas for SHInee scheules it strains on Koyuki, expectedly. It's hard to be in different time zones or hoping that maybe you'll exchange one text a day. They try not to get jealous, and rarely do. If they have any problems, though there may be some verbal arguing, they always end up sitting down to talk about things rationally. They have a very mature relationship, even though they love to do dumb things like scare each other or watch old cartoons or bake together.

I'll know her as Koyuki. Anyways, I know her stage name is probably stupid, so I can change it if you want. Also, the reason I wrote about her mother the way I did is because she dies in a car accident a few weeks after Domino's debut.
