Writing again, almost meeting EXO, & Dallas EXO'LUXION!

LONG TIME, NO TALK, I'VE MISSED THIS SITE

For the last month, I've been without a laptop and therefore unable to write. But! My sister has bought me a new one for my birthday, so I'll be back to writing and (hopefully) updating shortly! Anywho~ I WENT TO EXO'LUXION in DALLAS and I'm still kinda dead tbh and I want to talk about that!

There's so many pictures and fancams and all that stuff, so I suppose I don't need to make many fanaccounts or whatever about the concert, but I'll still talk about some things because why not?

1. First off! Myself, my cousin, and my sister had three different close encounters with EXO. ;;;; No, we were not stalking them. We never encountered them on the streets - not once. These are times were just came really close to. We gave them space, never went looking for them, and didn't even go see them at the airport to help avoid too much crowding.

1. The first was on our first day in Dallas - February 9th.

We left for Dallas around 7AM, and arrived around noon some six hours later. We settled into the hotel, and went to get some lunch at a Chinese buffet style restaurant. We then walked around this mini mall type place for a while, and then went to this Korean karaoke bar/restaurant in Korea town for dinner. In between, we of course stopped by the hotel to chill and stretch and such before At around 4-5, we walked around this Asian grocery market because my sister wanted to, and we were also looking for this kpop store called Zari that also resided in that building. We found Zari, but it was closed for Lunar New Year ;;;;; It was around 8-9PM when we decided to go to dinner. We were meant to explore Korea town, but this restaurant/bar was so amazing, we took our sweet time, and ended up staying there for a while. By the time we got back to the hotel, it was passed 10PM and probably boardering 11PM. (By now, I was suuper tired and ready for bed ;;) We also encountered some fellow EXOL on the hotel foyer ahah it was cute! But anyway, we still wanted to out some more, but we eventually decided that it was too late and that we ought to get some sleep; given we'd be waking up early tomorrow for the concert.

In the morning, my cousin said that Chanyeol had updated instagram the night prior. And that they'd been out and about, in the same district we'd been in. The time we were settling into bed, Chanyeol and Kyungsoo(?) were out enjoying themselves on the streets we'd been on.. Ah...

2. The second was on our last day in Dallas - February 11th.

The day after the concert, we spent at the Dallas Zoo (from 11AM to around 4PM I think). After we finished our tour of the animals, we set out in search of this Asian Museum of Art that my sister was really adament about going to. On our way there (after getting lost a little) we came to a stop infront of some railroad tracks in the downtown of Dallas. We watched, halfheartedly, as the subway/trolly train-thingy passed by, and whined about how we should've just taken that instead of driving (because then, we probably wouldn't've gotten lost orz).

A little bit after that - Sehun updated instagram with a picture of himself on that trolly-train/subway thingy. Chanyeol also posted a photo, showing that he, Suho, and Sehun had all been on it together (though he posted on the 12th to probably avoid fans crowding them or smth). Ahh... If only we'd taken the train..

3. The third was also on our last day in Dallas, on our way home (6 hour drive orz)

After the Museum, we stopped by a Cici's Pizza to eat and get some gas at the gas station nearby. I love Cici's Pizza, it's my most fave pizza place, so we just had to stop. Even prior to the trip, my sister and I had been looking into nearby Cici's Pizza, but had been disappointed to see that all of them had been quite a ways from our hotel. It was a miracle we found this one +_+ We were seated at one of the booths by the front of the restaurant, where we had a good view of the interstate and passing traffic outsite. (Note: all throughout our three day stay, we'd been making little jokes like exclaiming "There's EXO!" each time we passed by an odd or unmaked van while driving - knowing that it most probably wasn't. Just because it was fun I guess aheh) (We also passed by a Luck Day's hotel and I said jokingly "lol i bet exo's there" Which they weren't of course, they'd already left the airport and were headed to Vancouver at that time lmao)

Anyhow, while eating, my sister noticed a black, unmarked van with tinted windows driving by, and exclaimed in our usual playfully joking way, "There's EXO!" We all laughed, watching as it came close; passed--and then we recognized one of EXO's managers driving... ... ... ( Note#2: We fangirled/fanboyed over the effing managers standing outside when we were at the venue on the 10th lol They were smoking cigarettes and looked so done with the massive line forming aheh) We froze, looked at each other, and ing flipped because it was EXO for once. We were about 80% sure. Twenty minutes later, it was stated that EXO had arrived safelt at the airport. We did some research, and the Cici's Pizza we'd stopped at was on the way towards the airport they departed at. ... ... ... So yeah. I'm not crying

2. Everyone was really calm, orderly, and obedient. There was no issues or injuries (thank God) and I had a really amazing time. Though, I did almost have an anxiety attack due to anxiousness, nervousness, and excitement all mixed together at once. I discovered I have a nervous bladder so yeah that kinda orz. When we were being let into the venue, I suddenly had to pee SO BAD and I also felt nausous and dizzy aheh That was just my own personal problem, though, it was really smooth for the most part. Only a little bump when they decided to split the line last minute, and the peope who'd been waiting the longest ended up getting in last but ehh it was still really fun! Luckily, my anxiety subsided as soon as the concert actually started, and I had such a good time. It was surreal... It still doesn't even feel like I've really seen them; it felt more like I was watching a fancam and I kept STUPIDLY spacing out inbetween moments ><"

3. I was seated in section 203, Row PP, Seat 3! My cousin was on my left, in seat 4, and my eldest sister was on my cousin's left, in seat 5~ I had a good view. I could see the stage clearly and could differentiate the members, but I wasn't close enough to make out many facial details - which I had to look at the screen to see, but I had made a deal with myself to look at the screen as infrequently as possible. I couldn't make out more than just shadows of eyebrows, nose, and lips - the rest of their faces were blurred white from the stage lighting orz But, as I said, I could still tell who was who aheh

4. LOWKEY CHANBAEK HAPPENED RIGHT INFRONT OF MY EYES OM During Chanyeol Time (when he freezes time yknow like what Sehun did before), he poked Baekhyun's cheek and it was just precious

5. Susoo's couple pirouette ing killed me

6. Baeksoo during Playboy... I have no words

7. The near-end VCR, before the encore, made me very emotional, and I shed a couple tears ;;;

Ahh.... I'lll go now.
