nicknames. chubby cheeks ; her members call her that. they played a round of chubby bunnies during their trainee days and siyeon stuffe 20 marshmellows into , making her face look big and chubby which started this nickname.

byun sibling/s ; although they aren't real siblings, siyeon and exo's baekhyun are close to each other as they come from the same hometown and were neighbours when they were young. fans started to call them that after a pic of them hanging out were taken (which also caused some scandal but died after their companies explained) a few months after her debut.

siyeon is a little skinny compared to others, as her metabolism is very high so she doesn't gain weight that easily. she stands at 165cm tall and weighs 47kg, which is underweight in the bmi chart.

she has a cold looking face whenever she doesn't smile, making it hard for people to approach her; but in reality she's either spacing out or that's just her normal neutral face.

siyeon is borned with dark brown hair and has two different eye colour due to heterochromia; black in the left eye and brown in right eye. her heterochromia is genetic as her mother also suffer from this.

siyeon has a tattoo on her left wrist which she got with her two older brothers; "Hey! Let's go get matching tattoos when I turn legal!" was what she said to them. she also has a tattoo on her right shoulder blade which she got with her best friend who is also a trainee as a symbol of their friendship.

you could say that siyeon is an introvert with her quiet nature. she doesn't speak out loud unless neccesary, and doesn't make a big commotion out of anything. altough there are times where you could see her excited and talkative, but it would be quite rare. siyeon is very charming in terms of her hardworking and strong personality. she gives her all into everything she does, and doesn't hesitate in her beliefs.

siyeon can be hard on herself often as she lacks confidence in her talent and vocals. she always compares herself to the main vocalist plotline, thinking that she won't ever be able to sing as well as her. she can also be quite hard-headed and stubborn, always wanting things to go her way, but she usually just keeps those thoughts to herself.

 

her quiet nature may have its benefits, but it also has its negative effects. because of this nature, people don't talk to her much, so she doesn't have many friends that she can call her best friend.
 

background.

siyeon was born on june 25, 1996 in bucheon, gyeonggido, south korea. she grew up in a normal family of two loving parents and has two older brother, making her the youngest of the family.

siyeon with her then neighbour, baekhyun, who would later on debut in exo, used to hang out together along with her two brothers and baekhyun's older brother. siyeon and baekhyun both got along well, and shared the same interest in singing.

as they grew up, baekhyun and siyeon both had the dream to become a singer. after baekhyun went to become a trainee for sm, siyeon begged her parents to allow her to go to seoul to pursue her dreams. her parents objected this at first, but after some hard begging, they allowed her on the condition that she get the first ranking in her school for her next exam.

as she was originally a studious person who always got top 10 in her class, she immediately agreed. she failed getting first rank the first few times, but during her last year of middle school when she was 15 (16 korean age), she finally got first rank.

 

her parents allowed her to go, with her two brothers accompanying her there as well. she auditioned for a few companies but failed all, when finally pledis accepted her as a trainee.

byun jae young & byun jae yoon (oc) - brothers/twins ;siyeon's beloved older brothers who are also twins. they share a close bond with each other. both jae young and jae yoon graduated from snu as well with a degree in law and business respectively. they are 5 years older than siyeon, making them borned in 1991.

heo min jung (oc) - best friend/trainee ; siyeon's best friend who got a tattoo with her. they both met at several auditions a few times, and got into pledis at the same time. they like to think of it as fate as they kept meeting each other. in contrast to siyeon's quiet nature, minjung is very outgoing and one of the friendliest trainee in pledis. they are the same age. unfortunately, minjung decided to change career to acting a few weeks before the member's of dreamers were selected. siyeon thinks that minjung would definitely be picked as she excels in dancing.

byun baek hyun - best friend/idol ; brother from another mother, would be the perfect term for baekhyun. they share the same family name, share the same dream to be a singer, and also grew up together as well. they get along very well, like real brothers and sisters. baekhyun cares for siyeon a lot as he doesn't have a younger sister, and thinks of her as his real family.

lee hi - close friend/idol ; both of them went to the same school and were in the same class. unlike other idols for example bap's zelo, rv's joy, apink's hayoung and many more who got into the same class, siyeon and lee hi were the only idols in their class. they were seated next to each other, and got along well. they both have quiet natured personality which made it easy for them to communicate.

life as a trainee.

not much can be describe for siyeon's trainee life, a few suitable words would be dull, painful, quiet, and lonely. although people talk to her and she seeks out others to talk to, life just seemed dull to her. not many could be counted as her real friend, or even a best friend, as everyone had the drive to debut soon, even resulting in using dirty ways.

siyeon was right in the middle tier, not good enough to go above, but not terrible enough to go below. the vocal trainers complimented her vocals, saying she deserved to go into the top tier with this standard, but the one thing that's stopping her would be her insecurity and lack of confidence.

because of this, she would feel nervous whenever singing in front of the judges for the weekly evaluation test, and her voice would shake and crack then.

the only thing happy about her trainee life would be the thought of finally achieving a step to her dream, and her best friend made in pledis, heo min jung. both of them got along well, and were both open to each other. minjung's friendly nature made siyeon brighter and open. but when minjung decided to change her career to acting and left the company, siyeon vowed to work hard and achieve both her dream and minjung's wish for her to debut soon.

with her hardwork and perseverence during that short moment, she got into the top tier; and a few weeks later was picked as a member of dreamer.

future relationship. kim jun hwan is a young and famous photographer in south korea. siyeon and junhwan will meet a few years after she becomes famous and is well-known, where he was the photographer for dreamer's album photoshoot. they got along well and exchanged numbers soon after that, and became close very fast. they started dating few months after that. no one knows about their relationship except her members and her agency (by then, they are allowed to date...hopefully). and so the story goes on until she gets caught lol.

(this is just an extra for my character, because i didn't want love to be the main focus, so i wrote this based on the future; their relationship can happen whenever you want but it would be after they got famous.)
