It’s Hobi’s birthday in a couple of hours (South Korea’s only one hour ahead of where I am) and I just feel like writing something about him for my own pleasure. Nobody would care, everybody will just scroll past this but I don’t know, I just want to make my love for Hobi known.

Well, happy birthday, my dearest Jung Hoseok! I can’t believe you’re already 22/23. This is your second birthday that I’m here for, and I still feel guilty for not wishing you on your birthday last year though I knew. This year, I’m gonna wish you all day if I can, eventhough I know you won’t see even one tweet. Sad, huh? It’s okay. I just hope my love will reach you in some way.

My dearest, you’ve no idea how much you mean to me. You don’t even know me, you’ve never even seen me, ever, in your whole life but you hold such a strong meaning to me. Really, you mean everything to me. Of course, I love the other boys so, so much as well, but Hobi, you come first. Undoubtedly, you’ll be first.

You are so important to me, you know? It upsets me that you’re underappreciated, because I appreciate you. Loads! I appreciate your existence so much, I thank God every day that Bangtan came into my life. I really hope you know how precious and treasured you are, you have to know.
If I ever get to meet you in person (that would definitely be one of if not the best days of my life), I only want to tell you one thing: thank you. Thank you for putting a smile on my face when I’m at my worst, thank you for making me laugh and brightening my dark days, thank you for all that you’ve done for me though you don’t know it. Thank you for making me happy. Thank you for existing, Hobi, thank you for being in my life.

It hurts that I’ll never be able to know you personally, it hurts that I might not ever meet you, it hurts that you may never know how much I adore you - but the pain won’t stop me from supporting you. I’ll support you, and Bangtan, for as long as my self allows me to. I’ll continue supporting you from afar, I’ll continue praying for your happiness and best of health. That’s all I want from you, Hobi. I want you to be healthy and happy doing what you want to do.
