maybe you can post some prompts for other people to write or have someone you trust write them? :)

Yes, I know that feeling all too well. But hey, write it anyway. You may not feel that good, but you're only going to improve by writing and writing some more. Don't sit and cry, find something else that appeals to you.
And if you have a very specific plot you really want to develop, get a beta-reader who can talk to you about it and give plot ideas. Sometimes talking about a plot makes it develop even more. Don't fear your writing, everybody starts somewhere, even the greatest authors.

Publish it. I swear I was like that too before. If you like it writing so much, you shouldn't bother what others would say. Writing is my stress reliever and when I had the guts to publish it, even though my stories arent that big, I felt a little more accomplished than before seeing the comments of others.

So I say, try publishing it. :D
