What happens in an apply-open story? Like, do the applicants get to write chapters too? Or they only suggest characters for the author to use? Sorry, I know I apply to different stories already, as you can see. It's just that I'm curious and I want to see if ever I'll get accepted. Can someone please explain what happens when your application gets accepted? If ever I understand how it goes, I'll make an apply-open story myself :)
