Don't be afraid to ask for help on whatever site you're roleplaying on. I started rping some time last year and it took me a couple weeks to get a hang of it. I would highly suggest googling different terms that roleplayers use. It'll make things a lot easier than having to ask people what they mean by different lengths of replies and plotting.

I say try being open and get to know lots of rp-ers. This way, it's more comfortable. Don't think about what to say, but just do it lol it seems more natural that way((:
When I started out it felt so weird, but after getting used to it, the rp I joined started feeling like another family. I grew sad when those that I grew close to left, and when I joined my second rp a couple months ago, it just didn't feel the same. It wasn't as fun. lol i'd say i joined the perfect rp for me c: Hope you did too^^
