background: 
sooji grew up in the city of suwon for most of her childhood. nothing seemed interesting as her elementary school life was quite insipid. she did what she was told, sometimes played with her classmates, came home, did her homework, and the cycle repeated. however, the cycle stopped repeating right before junior high when her dad announced that his job was being relocated to seoul. from there on, the han family moved to seoul where sooji's life began to change. her mom and dad got busier, but this allowed sooji and her older sister to get closer. they started to grow interest in the places they were surrounded with and began to grow as a person as well.  it was a nice experience. however, once junior high began, sooji discovered making friends wasn't as easy as elementary school. so she tried hard, but could only get so far. sure she was apart of a group and all, but sooji felt so disconnected  because talking about personal subjects to them was awkward. instances like this caused sooji to overthink her inability to be close with others. i mean, they were good friends and all, but sooji knew everything about them and they didn't know too much about sooji. but once high school began, she stumbled upon a group she'd one day feel comfortable enough to open up to.
lifestyle: 
like the deligent student she is, sooji always immerses herself into a study revision and prepping class preisdent duties before leaiving for school. in order to get her pure black tea fix, she stops by the convenience store for a bottle before she takes the bus. once she gets to school, she greets her friends if given the chance and walks with them until they have to part. in class, sooji never volunteers to participate but she has swell answers when called on (except her asnwers aren't always swell during math). she is able to keep up some chatter with her classmates, however, she never usually starts the conversation unless completely necessary. during lunch time, sooji runs any needed class president errands (turning in paperwork, collecting notebooks, talking to staff, etc, etc). when possible, sooji eats in jimin's classroom along with him and a few other club members. after school, she stops by the club room for club activities. once everyone is done bantering, jimin walks sooji to her bus stop and bids her goodbye. sooji's lifestyle at home is pretty much the same everyday. she usually naps or does some chores before her mother comes home. once she's home, sooji usually helps her cook and eats with her as long as she's not busy. afterwards, sooji indulges herself in her room for the remainder of the night to study or surf the internet.

family: 
han jaesun - 46 - dad - they're not very close. sooji's dad is always busy with work (especially business trips), and she's occupied with her own life, leaving no room for the two to connect.
kang minji - 48 - mom - sooji's mom cares for her a lot, even if she's unable to be around a lot due to work. however, unlike her dad, her mom actually tries to make time for sooji in order to maintain a healthy mother-daughter relationship.
han jisun - 20 - older sister - they used to be very close! however, due to interfering factors (like jisun attending university), they just haven't had time for each other.
friend(s): 
park jimin - 2nd year - nearly best friends/older brother figure - and out of everyone sooji was able to be the closest to, it was jimin. they're very good friends and consider each other as a younger sister/older brother figure. jimin often looks out for sooji and she's always there for him. whether it'd be spontaneously meeting up in the middle of the night, scolding each other to take care of themselves better, or being each other's support system, it's obvious that jimin is sooji's right hand. her go to.
kim taehyung - 2nd year - close friends - he's one of the reasons sooji can be silly at times. classic taehyung loves to have fun and joke around, so naturally, he's discovered a silly side to "jiji" by doing so. and she's very grateful for such. but besides sooji and taehyung goofing around with each other a lot, she also helps him with his studies. even if she's a year below him, sooji is still able to help him via borrowing jungkook's notes, teaching the material to him, and making sure he understands. it's not always effective, but it's enough to keep his grades looking... decent. regardless of taehyung's terrible study habits, soojin admires him a lot. after all, he created this club for everyone to be with each other more. and no matter what mean things anyone said about his idea, taehyung was determined to make the activities club possible. and that's what makes kim taehyung oh-so-remarkably in her eyes.
song ahra - 3rd year -  good friends - ahra treats sooji very delicately, almost like a precious child. she realizes that sooji is a great person, so she tries to get close with her. sooji just happens to respect ahra and never lets her down whenever she's being counted on.
kim namjoon - 3rd year - good friends - 'jiji' and namjoon get along very well. when he picks up on her nice traits and her attemps to get close to him, namjoon accepts. and she appreciates him for such. sooji truly appreciates namjoon's company. since namjoon naturally excels so well in hi studies, sooji sometimes asks him for help when it comes to math (although, she tries her best not to burden himm all the time with helping). namjoon was also one of the first members of the activities club to notice sooji's caring personality and he just felt so warm on the inside knowing there was another person in this club thinking about him.

history: the two didn't know much about each other prior to the activities club. as time passed and sooji got closer to the members thanks to the club, there was just one person missing from her interactions. and that was yoongi. sooji had only interacted with yoongi if she felt that the timing was right or if he had joined in on the bantering. they considered each other friends, but, sooji definitely wanted to get closer to him. she wanted to discover sides of yoongi that weren't cold or blunt, she wanted to make him smile. however, sooji is dense towards her own feelings and believes that she just wants to get closer to yoongi in order to bring out the best in him (like what the group did for her). and yoongi has always mistaken sooji and jimin's friendship for romance since the start, so of course sooji having feelings for him was out of the question. but still, her little actions to create a deeper friendship with him started to get to him. slowly, yoongi began to care for sooji in a way that differed from everyone else.
relationship: due to sooji's shyness and yoongi's cold upfront, they can be pretty awkward. another affecting factor is that sooji is a smol 1st year and yoongi is an intimidating 3rd year. regardless, sooji always puts in 101% effort into getting close to him, and yoongi kinda does too, but his actions aren't as abvious as hers. for example, sooji will always muster up the courage to approach yoongi first for a conversation. pretty noticable, right? on the other hand, yoongi rarely talks to her first because he can't think of great conversation starters, deeming his efforts as unnoticable. but even with those actions and such, the two can have a few bumps in the road when it comes to loosening up. like things will go pretty swell between them, but it can get awkward pretty quick. their friendship isn't near sooji and jimin's friendship, however, they've been becoming better friends. and while on the way to becoming closer, hopefully they'll realize their feelings for each other because currently, the two have no romantic intentions with each other.

ALSO !!! i think it'd be kinda funny if sooji and jimin realize their feelings for their respective love interests on the same night, run to the park to talk about it, but yoongi happens to be playing basketball that night @ the park and catches them being simpy about their feelings (but can't hear what they're saying so he gets the wrong idea ooo)
OMG ALSO !!! third years +sooji & jungkook stay up all night trying to tutor taehyung but sooji had already pulled an allnighter before that night so she ends up falling asleep on yoongi hAHha that'd be interesting
maybe include a scene where jimin's love interest sees jimin walk sooji to her bus stop and lowkey gets jealous/misinterprets their situation which starts a one-sided love triangle?? (in other words, she's the only one who thinks this love triangle exists bc she doesn't know that they're strictly platonic/like siblings omg thatd be funny)
yoongi and sooji get matching phone charms???
