Trainee Life — Her trainee life was a mess. All she knew is rapping. She’s from underground, to be realistic. It doesn’t mean she can’t sing, though. Her twin, Jooyoung, always ask her to sing, and trained her, even when she doesn’t want to. At first, it was her and her twin, joining Starship. She didn’t pass the audition, but, her twin, beg the CEO, saying that he won’t enter unless she enters, too. Being the gem that the CEO want, he said okay and they trained there. She ditched classes, showing her stubborn side. And after the incident, she walks out from Starship, as she knows she won’t get anywhere, and start searching for the agencies. She joined Cube, three months trying auditions everywhere. Entering the agency, she learns dancing and singing at her best. Not want to disappoint everyone, again. Her progress was incredible, quoting CEO Hong saying. She progressed much, that her can took lead dancer role in that moment. Her voice color is nice, that’s what her vocal trainer said, and her rap following her vocal up. Her dance trainer sometimes get tired because usually she messed up. Messed up, not because she can't, but sometimes, she loves to improve the dance, and talk to the trainer about it. She loves fixing some dances, and she loves make choreography alive from her. The dance trainer gave her two thumbs up because she never lose energy even if she’s tired.

She’s one of people who will hear you, and will try her best to give you advice for your problems, she’s reliable because she will try to get into your shoes, and try to make sure the choice won’t be bad. But, there will be always a minus in person. She’s cold. Eventhough she’s helpful, reliable, she doesn’t have any expression on her face, sometimes. She could be smiling, laughing, joking, but then her expression is back to her flat one, just in flash. Because she’s kind, she finds out that she’s too kind, and people trying to take advantages from her. She tried her best to change her character, but ended up doing the same again. She always scared that something bad will happen if she can’t protect others or things, she’s a paranoid at that. Sometimes, she would check her things to see if something missing, and looking up at her members, checking them out, and sigh in relief when see all of them. Even if she’s mature, she’s too blunt for a person. She always answer things right away, not really short-minded person, but she just answer it, with honesty. Sometimes, it walks them into scandal, but sometimes, it walks them into fame. It depends on the question asked for her, so, sometimes, her members take the answer from her, if they found the question is too risky if she is the one who needs to answer it. Being stubborn is her nature, she said. She doesn’t like things that don’t go they way she wants. She wants the best, but she wants it in her way. She usually won’t follow the rule, and sometimes, to make sure of her, company make a special rule, just for her.

Her family is not one of family. Her father and mother are smokers, everytime she and her twin go home, they will find them gasping the smoke air. The reason? They said, when you went through hell, smoke is your best company. She doesn't get it first, but Jooyoung told her that she shouldn't smoke, for their health. Her twin, Jooyoung, is a kind one, and the best brother you will ever want. Their family is not broke, but still, she needs jobs to make her money and allowance steady, for her and her twin. They live in the city of Gwang-ju, with their parents work as worker and a teacher, and they have something in common; music. Her father, loves traditional music the most; her mother, love classical music; Jooyoung loves ballad music; and she loves rnb one, with some rap on it. They have different taste, but they know music. Jooyoung learns piano for their mother’s sake, and she learns gayageum for their father’s sake. For them, learning instrument their parents love is a affection they could give for their parents. As they grow up, and just like other kids, they want to try everything new. Jooyoung joined indie band, being a vocalist, the guy who made girls heart flutter. Sekyung joined the underground life in Gwangju, being a rapper under the name ‘Light’.

 

It was at age eighteen, when Jooyoung know how to ride a motor-bike. He made her ditch her traditional music rehearshal, to go for audition at Starship. It was in the summer, June. She didn't really remember the date. Jooyoung already mark all audition dates. Without any license, Jooyoung speed the bike and they enter the agency with lots of hopes, even if she doesn’t really get Jooyoung’s dream. A star. He’s already a star, though, for her. It was some months later, when Jooyoung mad at her, for ditching training classes. It was afternoon, when they shouted at each other, in front of some coffee shop, with smokes smell everywhere.

‘You should try, Seolkyung! You can! I know it!’

‘I never want to be star at all! I want you to become the star, while I am here, pushing you to become the star behind!’

It was almost six, when the car took Jooyoung’s life. She was there, it was raining hard, it was Fall, to be honest. Jooyoung told her, ‘I will talk to you at home, okay?’ before he get to his motor-bike. She could see his face smiling, while putting on his helmet. He could see everyone stop stared at them after their ‘love’ fight, just like people thought it was. She was there, when he speed up his motor-bike, crossing the road with a full speed, as usual, and the car hit him, it hits him hard that he was thrown into the road, his helmet slipped off from his head. She was there. And it was her fault for not making everything clear with him, about his dream, and her dream. It was her fault not stopping him while she can, they could fix everything at that time, they could. She was there, hugging her twin’s drenched with rain and blood body, saying sorry, bawling her eyes. For just some minutes, she can hear what Jooyoung said for the last time. ‘You can, Seolkyungie.’ She can. What? Being a star? She can’t make it without him. She won’t. Her parents didn’t blame her, they continue their life just like usual, it’s like Jooyoung is still alive. But he doesn’t. She smokes, because the last thing she remember was smoke smells. The mint one. Just like her parents said, smoke is your best company after get through hell, now, she understand what it means. She drinks, because Jooyoung always said that he wants to drink beer. She becomes everything Jooyoung wants to be. She will become everything Jooyoung wants to be. For her, its they way she will say sorry for him. And she hopes Jooyoung won't mind.

personality —  sweet, flexible, loyal; angry, inconsiderate, sarcastic. Youngjae is weird, at least, that's what Sekyung thinks of him. He's a sweet guy, who will do anything to you, but he got some anger issue, he can't held his anger long. He could be everywhere because he's flexible with new people, but he sometimes don't have consideration towards things. He's the most loyal person you can meet, but his talk sometimes full of sarcarsm.
First Meeting — Youngjae was Jooyoung's band-mate, that was what Sekyung remembered. She met him when Jooyoung invited her to their mini concert in Dongdaemun Street. It was 9 pm, when Jooyoung introduce her to his band-mate, and Youngjae looks is not really kind towards her, but he introduce himself to her, at least.

relationship — Jooyoung told her, that Youngjae doesn't really like her. She doesn't really know the reason, but Youngjae is kind of distant with her, everytime Sekyung joined their practice, Youngjae's mood went down. He became more distant when Jooyoung died. Youngjae blamed her. He shouts at her on funeral, cursing her because of Jooyoung's death. Sekyung didn't mad, she knows that she should be blame for it, so she nodded in tears when heard Youngjae's curse. It doesn't stop here, but he kept saying bad things to him, he doesn't care about her feelings at all. Knowing Youngjae's loss feeling, everyday, Sekyung will make a lunch box for Youngjae, and put it in her locker. Youngjae, in other hand, doesn't hate Sekyung. He just see her as someone who's too overprotective at Jooyoung, he doesn't like they way she treated Jooyoung, even if Jooyoung said he loves how Sekyung treat him. He hates her that Jooyoung died, but he knows she wasn't the reason behind Jooyoung's death. He doesn't have someone to blame, and he blames her. Youngjae, also thinks that it was his fault, because he persuades Jooyoung to be an idol, just like him (he just enter JYP, when their band disbanded and Jooyoung was down). He blames Sekyung, because she took all the blames, without defending herself, like the real criminal. After his debut, he rarely see her anymore. They met again in Hongdae, it was raining hard, and he found her standing near the road, without umbrella. That's where Jooyoung died, and when she saw him, she blamed him for saying she's the reason that Jooyoung died while she's not. He knows he should stop blaming her, but he kept blame her for everything. It was Sekyung's disorder that wake him up, he remembered it clearly. Since then, he tries his best to be close with her, paying all the blames he gave her by helping her through her disorders. Since then, he falls for her. Sekyung is really Jooyoung's twin, he said.
